We loved how spacious the villa was. The beds were super comfy and it was great to sleep in. My son loved swimming in both the private and open swimming pools. The staff were very helpful and organized the birthday dinner for my wife which was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was made by order, there was shuttle bus to Ubud central and back which is quite convenient.

Nothing to dislike, would 110% come back to Ubud Garcia for another visit.

Traffic was bad to get to ubud

Myself and two friends visited the property during our first ever trip to Bali. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. What stood out for us was the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to assist with all our needs. The food was delicious, facilities were great and the overall ambience exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend the property to all our friends and family making their way to Bali. We will also be happy to return this hotel in future.

The outdoor shower of our villa invited a lot of geckos and insects into the villa. We spotted the biggest gecko we had ever seen. Lol but Ubud is a tropical destination after all; this was just a tiny detail that we did not enjoy. The staff went out of their way to assist us with removing the unwanted guests. This did not take away from how much we enjoyed our stay.

Nice boutique hotel. Very peaceful and great staffs. The Front Officer (Mr Masuda if not mistaken; and the lady Niar) was always very helpful. Breakfast is fantastic. Everything taste good. The fried rice, the locals and juices were all nice.

1) There was a gap between the paving step between the lobby and the swimming pool deck. Not the most convenient for luggage. Though hotel staff was always very helpful to offer us to carry our luggages 2) There was an issue to our room sewage system hence some odor. But hotel staff was helpful to change our rooms despite busy weekend

Good location,the entrance ,the restaurant are very spacious and huge. It was very warm welcoming,the staff are kind and friendly. Rooms are big and rolling door between bedroom and bathroom (with good amenities). It is very nice. Breakfast was super good,we really loved it. We will be back!

In the evening when we arrived, nearby they were burning something and the smell of the smoke was coming in somehow. But its nothing with the Garcia itself,it is an unfortunate timing. Would be nice more toys,playing option for kids or some kind of kids club even for few hours open morning time then afternoon as well.

Beautiful attentive staff and lovely grounds. Staff were very helpful in helping us to solve a few problems, book transport and serve us at breakfast and dinner. The chefs are very good. Our massage was lovely. The daily shuttles to and from Ubud centre made it easy to drop in for lunch, dinner or sight seeing.

There was noisy construction work behind our villa that impacted what was meant to be a peaceful stay. The staff did assist us as best they could to alleviate the impact of the noise.

The staff were incredible, went above and beyond to make our stay as special as it was. They couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. From organising transfers to packing us up with a breakfast and takeaway coffees when we had an early transfer to the port… they were so helpful and lovely. Facilities also brilliant for our stay, exactly what we needed when coming back after a long day exploring ubud/ hiking nearby. The hotel is 20-30 min Grab/ Gojek outside main square of Ubud (probably quicker by scooter!) but being in the rice paddies and a more peaceful environment suited us really well. Ate food at the restaurant one night and had breakfast most mornings, all to very good quality. Thank you for making the start of our Bali adventure so special.

-The design of this place is absolutely stunning. Every detail is thought of. Someone has amazing taste!!! It’s truly on the top of the list of spots to visit in bali. -The location is about 20/30 minutes out of the centre of Ubud, so you’ll need to get a grab or the free shuttle the hotel provides. ( except you have to arrange an hour before ) -The pool and landscaping is STUNNING, the amenities always clean. It was a visual pleasure to look at. SO many reasons to stay here. Ideal for someone wanting to just relax by the pool and enjoy a quiet space.

The smoke that came in the room from the fields surrounding, which is just part of being in Bali so nothing to do with the hotel as such. The breakfast was average. It’s a set menu - with pretty much rice or eggs. So you have to pick one. No options for children or adaptions. Considering the space - it’s the only negative about this place that’s not necessarily a negative, just not my preference. The restaurant is superbly designed and looks lovely but overpriced. Not any restaurants close by, so we ordered food in from a cafe/restaurant in Ubud. Overall - it’s beautiful and I recommend staying here!!!!

Nice and clean and modern, nice restaurant. Shuttle service is great and drops you off right in the heart of town.

Hot water was slow to come on (like 5-15 minutes of waiting sometimes). Engineer visited twice but couldnt really resolve it (just had to be patient). Could have been something to do with our room being a bit further away from the central heating system.

Biggest highlight was the service. The team there are genuinely nice. Literally every, single person. It is very rare to see that. It is evident that the management/owners take good care of them. The facilities were modern and everything was quite functional.

Only suggestion would be to make sure that items in the menu are available, there were many items during our stay which was not available especially the drinks.
