My stay was unusual as I arrived for a bat mitzvah just before the war in June and left the hotel day before it ended. I was supposed to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 13 nights. I have to say the staff were amazing during that time and the facilities were great, including the shelter which felt very safe. The breakfast was delicious and location very central. I would choose them again in less stressful times.

It's hard to sum up what I didn't like because I did not expect to be in a bomb shelter 5 times a day but the hotel handled everything very well. The atmosphere was calm in spite of everything and everyone was friendly and professional.

The location is excellent offering quick access to both the New and Old City sections of Jerusalem. It is easily accessible by foot and public transportation. The outside patio is spacious. The interior lobby is well decorated and clean.. The dining area was clean and well lit, the table settings were well designed. The breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of choices, no limits. All food was fresh. The staff immediately cleared tables after guests left. There were no dirty dishes left on tables for any extended periods of time. The staff was very attentive to the guests. My room was very clean (yes I checked) and the mattress was excellent. The room was surprisingly spacious. I slept extremely well. Air conditioning is customer regulated which I appreciated.

My only complaint was the cleaning agent used in the bathroom. The unpleasant odor of the cleaning agent lingered. I would suggest using something with a pleasant scent. My only disappointment was that there no vending machines if one gets thirsty or gets "munchies" after the dining room is closed or late at night There is a convenient store across the street but I prefer having access inside.

Location: Locates in a quiet area and kind of in the middle between the market and old city area. Feel relaxing but of course trade-off is do expect a 10-15 mins walk to either side - it's not close to LRT stations. Building: Nice looking antique-style building. Front staff: Nice and helpful. Room: Clean and spacious, very comfortable to stay in. Bed: Very comfortable. Bathroom: The shower is with sufficient water pressure which I enjoyed a lot. View: Got a room on 5/F, but nothing much to see from the window in my case. Amenities: Very good, sufficient shower/shampoo gel provided. Room comes with 2 glass-bottled water. Breakfast: Delicious and a great variety of food.

Location: Not something controllable - it's just the terrain of Jerusalem. If you expect to come from market / new city side with luggage, expect a short uphill walk. You may wish to take a taxi instead. There is a bus stop nearby but not close to any LRT stations. Room equipment: Here are some minor improvement that can be considered to improve the already-good experience: 1) Add an espresso machine 2) Change to a larger TV 3) Could use a bit larger desk - Was not able to do some quick work with the small coffee table.

Staff was very nice and helpful did not eat breakfast room was ok = hot water in shower was dirty and had to run for a while also there was no strainer nor stopper in the bathroom sink that was surprising and think you should correct and be sure all sinks have stopper and /or basket in the sink

The staff were very friendly and obliging. Hotel is in a excellent location.

The hot food at breakfast has been sitting on the hotplate since the early morning so by the time we came down to eat around 10am it didnt seem so fresh. Infact, the borekas and certian other hot foods were not eatable in my opinion.

room cleaners were ok, but not meticulous, towels were not always replaced unless we asked

Location, perfect walking distance from & to sites. Breakfast, display, smell, taste & variety absolutely first class. Room, clean, smell grate, even the view from window was perfect. Short stay but bring to mind an awareness of relaxing, comfortable, feeling at home time.

Communication at reception, (dialect) can cause misunderstandings. We thought the same room will be available when we return from Petra, for we left trousers in the room and the staff could not found it, returned home without it. Except for that everything was perfect.

The location was centrally located in the middle of town. The breakfast was extraordinary and so varied I did not expect the variety and ample supply. If an item was almost done it was replenished. We were in Israel for my grandchild Bar Mitzvah and while others were located at the Citadel we were very happy with our location and its price. I was here 5 years ago and am a repeat customer.

The lack of US AC PLUGS, they did have USB to charge your phone but using a hair dryer is an experience.

I liked everything about this hotel! It was excellent! The room was the perfect size and the beds separated into 2 twin beds and were comfortable. It was such a cute place to stay compared to many for the same price! The staff were very friendly, especially the ones at breakfast every morning. Even if they did not understand us, they just smiled and were very polite! The breakfast was incredible! It was not as large as some hotels in Jerusalem, but the food was very high quality and fresh! The Espresso machine was wonderful! And I liked the way they had coffee, cookies, and apples out in the Lobby for guests!

The rooms could have a little more light for reading. The refrigerator was very small and no freezer. And there was no microwave, but did have a kettle for coffee and tea.

Location, it was like 15 min walking from Jaffa Gate. The breakfast was good, enough variety in the days we stay, with salty and sweet options for everyone’s taste.

Personal at the desk wasn’t attentive enough, they call us a cab and didn’t know when it going to arrive or how to recognize it.
