Perfect location in Jerusalem near the Mamilla Mall. So easy to walk to the Old City or the Mahane Yehuda Market. Great service from Dariya who really went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Loved the hot tea and coffee available near the check in desk. Our room was so comfortable. So nice to have a small kitchenette with a minifridge and a small microwave. The bed was so comfy. The view of the city was nice. The blue and white of the room was so charming. No parking available, but there is free street parking after 7 PM or paid parking at the Mamilla Mall.

Would have been nice to have had an option for breakfast.

Location location location, this property is litterly next door to the Waldorf and across the street from the David Citadel which cost 4 times as much. I opted for the larger room which was roomy and comfortable.

The "front desk receptionist" Mahmood who seems to be the manager, bellman and all around guy is pretty useless, upon arrival I had a WhatsApp message telling me where my room and key was, the in room safe was locked and he said he could not open it, pretty disappointing. When asked for shampoo and other toiletries he says yes and sure and does nothing, so don't expect any assistance or customer service, it's little more then a little apartment, you are on your own. Also the internet was very slow so I could not do any work. None of this changed my opinion of the location and property, but don't expect much.

modern, sophisticated, quality furnishings from the elevator entrance > reception > your room, great use of space, easy to find, hospitable and professional staff, quiet, the best sleep w luxe bedding, reliable wifi, eco-spa products, welcoming; David Story is a gem. It is so unexpectedly nice that you don't feel like you're missing out being across from the waldorff and david citadel. I would stay here again and recommend it to business travelers, couples and solo travelers. Keep in mind, this is not a place with a view from your room however the block you are on is a gorgeous view in of itself. It's a chic area of Jerusalem next to mamilla mall, park, david citadel, and steps from the old city. The room is tight though so don't stay here if you plan on being a homebody ;)

the choice of furnishings and reno materials was so nice but the execution was unfortunately poor such as absolutely sloppy grout so aesthetically it's not perfect but everything is new and high quality. If the execution was just more thoughtful and someone took their time, it would be a 5 star boutique hotel. Nonetheless, I would still give it 5 stars for the luxurious comfort and value.

Amazing location for the price and really happy we found this place! All the staff were super helpful and friendly, accommodated our requests. Room was very luxurious, comfortable and clean. Loved being walking distance to the Old City and Western Wall. Would very definitely stay here again if coming again. Very cold air conditioning was a welcome necessity in July heat! Rooftop terrace was gorgeous and relaxing.

It's a true boutique hotel. Small and cozy on the upper floors of a building. Best location, only 3 mintues from Mamilla Mall with great dining and shopping options. Also in walking distance to the Old City. Friendly staff. Rooms are very clean and nicely laed out. It came with microwave, fridge a separate sink and coffee maker (no cofffe pods though). I would definitely stay there again.

The front desk is not covered 24/7 and I didn't see anybody after 6.00pm'ish. But you can always reach somebody by whatsapp.

My room was small, but renovated and immaculate. AC worked really well. Mattress was incredibly comfortable and bed linens were nice. Good toiletries. Coffee pods supplied daily, and refrigerator was cold. I was able to check in early, which was a huge bonus. The woman at reception asked housekeeping to clean my room first so that I could check in. The first two girls in reception were really really friendly. I enjoyed the breezy rooftop terrace in the evenings when the weather cooled off. Location was excellent and I felt very safe walking alone at night. In addition, my room was very quiet. No street noise and other guests were practically silent. Hotel is easy to reach from light rail, with just a short walk from train stop.

It was a little weird, bc it's not a hotel in the traditional sense. It is on the second floor of an office building, with a main entrance door and then the rooms down a hall. There is someone at desk from about 10am -10pm, with a code to access "hotel" after hours. While some of the attendants at reception were very friendly, others barely looked up when I walked in.

the place was adorable. The man who work there machmoud was fun and attentive. The rooms were small ish but really pretty in Colors, and decor, it was in an amazing location, and whoever designed it seemed to have thought through all the details from jewellery places to charging stations - they thought of all of the details! i loved it and would definitely return!!!

The air conditioning wasn’t working and there seemed to be some water issue in the wall under the window.

Perfect little hotel on an amazing location just near the Old City and the Mamilla shopping area. The rooms are beautiful, nicely decorated, great comfy bed, a Nespresso machine, little kitchenette, and a bathroom with a good stream of water in the shower. The guy at the reception was really friendly and all my questions were answered quickly. Despite the fact that the hotel is located on such a central location, inside of the rooms you don't hear ANYTHING. The isolation is incredible effective. I slept very good there.

Was difficult to find at first as the reception is located on the 2nd floor.... but that wasn't really a problem.

A lovely boutique hotel in a great Jerusalem location - on the doorstep of the old city , and with easy access to many city sites, restaurants and cafes, and other attractions. Staff were super attentive and made us feel at home. Hila went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after, helped us arrange an easy transfer from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and gave us lots of local tips!

No breakfast served on site, however there are lots of cafe and restaurants nearby. Also the property has a kitchenette and a fridge if you care to make your own food.

We were able to communicate through WhatsApp to confirm our arrival time. The receptionist helped us get oriented in Jerusalem and figure out the best way to get around. We stayed two nights but then left for two nights for a private tour of Jordan. David Story graciously allowed us to leave some of our luggage with them while we were in Jordan until we returned for a third night stay at David Story. Since we arrived after midnight, they had given us our room number and instructions on how to get settled.

Honestly, we could not think of anything that did not exceed our expectations. The location was amazing! The hotel had recently been remodeled so everything looked new and modern. The bed was really comfortable and everything was clean!
