The location is very convenient - right next to the light rail tram station so great link from Arlozorov train station. Also close to the beaches in Jaffa, the shuk, and the port. Easy to find the entrance - according to Google maps when you put on walking mode, it shows which side of the building the actual entrance is so I followed that, and there's a big sign higher up on the building that says thr hotel name. Enjoyed my short stay!

Nothing, I had a great stay. At first I didn't realise I had to ring the bell at the entrance but when I figured that out they buzzed me in and once checked in I received the door codes from the staff.

It was a surprise. Not a very well-known hotel, fairly new with few reviews. Firstly, the location - absolutely everything can be found within walking distance. Old Jaffa and the flea market, the metro and restaurants, the sea and beaches. The hotel staff, all without exception, are very responsive. The entire hotel is on one floor, there is an elevator. The rooms are quite large and comfortable, the bed is comfortable.The shower has everything you need, there is always hot water. The room is well equipped with a desk that enables computer work, there is also a comfortable lobby and a terrace outside. Very interesting design, maybe not for every taste, but individuality and originality can be seen in everything. I can't help praising the attitude of every single staff member, from the owner to the cleaning lady. Breakfast deserves a separate review. Very tasty and fresh, vegetables, fruits, smoked fish, cheeses in assortment, pastries... coffee and tea types to choose from. Moreover, pastries and fruits are available throughout the day. Very intimate and homely, thanks to Zvi and his fantastic team.

The hotel is located in the Jaffa quarter. It is 10-15 minutes walk away from the beach and the promenade. Next to the entrance there is the lightrail stop so you can easily get around the city in no time. The staff are quite nice, always smiling. The room is not so big but it is cozy and very modern. Great value for money in my opinion. I would definitely book again if I would come.

The entry to the hotel is with a code which is not provided before hand. So you stand there thinking your own way into the building. I tried to press the button to call someone but with no success. I suggest that the hotel could somehow change this process for easy and smooth customer experience. The breakfast could be more varied.

The best value in Jaffa - centrally located within quick walking distance to major bus routes, dining, and flea/boutique shopping. Many options on the breakfast buffet and a great coffee machine with options (latte, cappuccino, etc.) Spacious and comfortable room. Stylish interior decorations - sleek black tiles & moody green walls.

Very minor things - the essentials in the room were clean, but some areas out of reach (vent, high shelves) were dusty. The bathroom is small, but workable. As with every shower in Israel, water gets everywhere and there is no way around it.

What's not to love! Super friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant location. Delicious breakfast. Very clean and organised and nicely appointed. Right on the light rail. Central and easy to get to almost everywhere. Short walk into gorgeous Jaffa with all the restaurants, bars, cafes and quaint shops. 5-8 min walk to the stunning beaches. Excellent value for money. Will definitely stay again.

We loved how close it is - 5 minutes by foot to the flea market, lots of restaurants, bars, convenient stores around. There is a parking next to the hotel which was free on Saturday. Breakfast was very basic (by Israeli standards) but sufficient.

The toilet paper holder in our bathroom was broken. I hate putting the TP on the floor. If it is broken, and even assuming it happened just before we arrived and you had no time to fix it, why not place a free-standing TP holder in the meantime? There were trays with some Danish cakes and Burekas which did not move during the 2 days we were there. Even during the night they were not put in refrigeration or replaced.

I really appreciated the location, 2 minutes away from the Shuk, the beach. A lot of buses and train just in front of the hotel. Workers there are caring & welcoming, the food was delicious and the room super cosy. It's also super clean, the room was quiet and big enough for me, I slept well. The staff is very friendly and always smiling. There is a good vibe in this hotel, I would recommend it one hundred percent.

It took me about 2 hours to find the hotel, travelling from Haifa Ha Hagana station and using the number 46 bus. It should have been straight forward, but it turns out there are 2 Jerusalem Boulevards and as I didn't have working wifi, I missed my stop and when I asked for help was sent to the wrong area. Also, the hotel is upstairs, located in a block between 2 closed/empty shops- so from the road appears to not be there. Look out for the Bloomfield stadium as this is very close! However, once I'd found it- it was very good. Lovely comfortable bed with an eclectic collection of books to read. There were no coffee making facilities in the room, but an excellent selection with snacks outside. Jaffa market is 5 mins walk away and well worth a visit. I also went to Deli Alhambra just up the Boulevard which has great local beers and hip hop. The journey from Joseph hotel to Ben Gurion was painless and took about 40mins via bus and train.

Finding the hotel.

The hotel is 10-minutes walk to Jaffa flea market and there are lots of restaurants around it. Most restaurants were opened on Shabbat. The hotel has a 24-hr buffet coffee bar with snacks. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. We arrived at Tel Aviv on Oct 6, 2023. Sounds of explosion were heard the next morning. The receptionist acted calmly and showed us where the bomb shelter was. Although worried, but we felt safe.

It is a bit difficult for taxi driver to find the hotel driveway entrance. It would be good if the hotel can provide driving direction with map. The lift was not working (not because of shabbat) on the day when we arrived. So we had to carry our luggages via the stairs to the first floor. Luckily our rooms are all on the first floor.

I always come back to the Joseph because it absolutely matches my needs - perfect location, great food, clean & quiet. The staff are very helpful.

It's a very small and personal thing - but I don't like parsley, and during this stay there was parsley on the salads. But obviously thats my personal.taste. the food is, overall, excellent and fresh.
