David and I would like to thank Rob the front desk supervisor for his kindness and understanding. We had to cancel due to a sudden mental health crisis in our family and he validated our feelings with his thoughtful words and diminished our guilt and discomfort of having to cancel last minute. It would be very special if some of the medical staff with whom we have dealt had the same presence of mind as Rob. The property was well-located and very clean. Although there was some construction underway, it was not disruptive. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bed was extremely comfortable.

There was no elevator, and while the building is only two floors, carrying a lot of luggage could be inconvenient. My room still had the older heating and air conditioning unit, which was quite loud. Fortunately, the weather was cool enough that I could turn it off.

The staff were really wonderful.....efficient, friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable.

1) in our room, there was no "explanatory page/booklet" For example, there was no info. regarding even how to contact the front desk. Our phone was unplugged upon arrival & that info. should have been included. Usually there is some info. about using the t.v. remote.(no, all remotes are not created equal) We checked every drawer in our room to see if there were recommendations of restaurants and places to visit but there were none. These may seem like small complaints but believe me, it could have made a good stay exceptional.

Check in was so fast! I have literally stayed in hundreds of hotels and never...NEVER has check in been so fast and efficient. I've stayed in 4 star hotels down to motels with questionable health practices. I even almost stayed at an air BNB in Hawaii that defrauded me but that's another story. None of them were as good as this place.

That I was only there for one night. I'm writing another sentence because booking.com wants me to write at least 2 sentences. I'll throw a third on for good measure.

The hotel was spotless, with signs stating they were short-staffed, but we did not notice. The front desk staff were extremely kind. We travelled with our 6 and 3 years old. Within a 5-minute walk, there is an excellent breakfast place (the continental breakfast looked terrific, but the kids wanted to go out), a grocery store, a Chuck's Roadhouse, and a Starbucks. We chose this hotel because it is only 9-minutes from Santa's village. We will pick this hotel if we are out in that area again!

It didn't have a pool. Obviously, this is no fault of the hotel or staff, and we were aware of it at booking. There are lots of things to do very close to the hotel so it was not an issue at all.

The staff on the phone was easy to talk to, helpful, and very accommodating. The staff on site was excellent, helpful and really friendly despite the renovation going on.

I would suggest cleaning the heater/AC unit in the room because the vents were very dusty.

Room was clean. Location was good. Good value for the money. I left my reading glasses behind and upon returning home called the hotel and they promptly sent them and received them within 4 days. Great stuff.

Breakfast could have a few more selections. The room could be a little larger but overall I can't really complain about anything.

Rooms are nicer

Too much constructions. Parking lot is engineered horribly. Hard to find parking spots. Constructions stuff should be placed in the back of the building to make the curb appeal more enjoyable driving in. Leak on the faucet to the counter top and made everything wet and cannot place anything on top.

The breakfast is "grab and go", they have a little seating area where you can eat. They offer coffee, tea, juice, milk, some fruit, muffins, cereal, cereal bar, also they have a microwave in there for you to use anytime. They water pressure in their showers is high, "we loved it" 😍

Unfortunately the main coffee machine broke.

Megan at the front desk was awesome. Very pleasant and helpful.

Room we were in was clean but needed many repairs. I think half the hotel was being renovated but our room had some shoddy workmanship and needs a new toilet. Pocket door is gouged and there was saw dust under it.
