Upon checking I was pleasantly attended by the very friendly staff all along my stay for 5 nights. Special mention to Pipi and Ciska. The breakfast buffet is a five star, a wide array of choices. I happen to be very picky about food but their buffet and even the Seasalt restaurant menu exceeded my expectations, very gourmet like for those who enjoy exquisite delicacies. The hotel has several extensions to the main building and you can get to your room by a connected bridge or a golf car transportation. Prior to arriving I had requested a quiet room because of a noisy neighboring hotel and they put me in a private residence with a pool (the hotel has three other pools in the main building).

This hotel was rated as a five star, but there is definitely room for improvement. My room had a musty smell and dit not have a desk. My impression was not a positive one as it seemed a bit too outdated for a five star. My choice for this hotel was influenced by the pictures and I was quite disappointed. This hotel should definitely not be priced as a five star hotel.

Nice pools. Staff very attentive and kind. Room was very clean. Room service was excellent

Have to be careful to sign for your food everytime you sit poolside and eat/drink. Removes a lot of convenience if you have to wait around for a server when you’re ready to leave.

Arrived early but the room is not ready. Not complaining because we've got free room upgrade with the best view. Pool view and sunset view from our room is perfect. Adult only pool has the best view of sunset other than by the beach or from the restaurant. Breakfast is great with lots of selection. If you prefer to not do anything, chill and relax trip. This hotel is for you. If you don't mind walking, do take time to walk and check out the shops around for food and shopping.

Not sure how to adjust the air condition so the room temperature at night is not low enough. We did not seek help from the front desk so is not their fault.

I was terribly disappointed that the hotel rents out the pool lounges to non guests ….. I couldn’t get one

- Beautiful infinity pool(s) - Excellent spots for watching the sun go down in front of the beach - Very comfortable bed and room, all amenities you’d expect provided - Exceptional service from all staff throughout - The spa!!! - The breakfast spread in particular is amazing. Everything you could possibly want to eat, from all the usual suspects to Indonesian breakfast favourites, which are all well worth trying. Great coffee and lovely to have the crashing waves as a backdrop. - Extensive food menu, all very tasty!

Everything was top notch. Note - if you book a Deluxe Suite they’re all in a part of the building that is next to a beach club called Miss Sippy which can get loud on a weekend night but earplugs dutifully provided by housekeeping! And the music has a cut off time at midnight so it’s not that bad (and only relevant if you happen to be in your room then) but worth knowing.

It is right next door to a night club, which played extremely loud music until 2 am. It kept us awake all night. It would’ve been good to know that ahead of time, and when we complained about it, the next morning, the staff were very apologetic and did offer us compensation. It would’ve been good to know that these rooms were opposite the night club at the time of booking, so we could have made a decision whether or not to choose those rooms. It would make sense for the hotel to offer a discount for those rooms for future bookings.

It’s really chilled for a big/ish chain resort, there are lots of different outdoor areas/pools/bars to hang out at so it’s not too packed in any one spot. Great position, easy walk to restaurants, bars, shopping, massages etc. Huge amount of fresh delicious food on offer for breaky and lunch was lovely too. The mini sunscreens and mozzie sprays in the room are great.

Construction noise.. we did get a note to say there was construction going on but jackhammering can get to you at the “quiet pool” day after day. We received a fruit platter for the inconvenience and staff were very apologetic.. it’s going on everywhere..

1. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, great selection of local and continental offerings. 2. I got unwell mid-trip, hotel staff were concerned and caring, the manager (Rina) checked in on us daily, sending up teas and broths to our room to make sure we were looked after and we certainly felt special :) 3. Location was close to Seminyak center so it was easy to get around in a part of Bali that would’ve otherwise been inundated by heavy traffic to and from.

The staff were wonderful, so helpful and welcoming and friendly. Location was great - close to great shopping areas, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was fantastic and such a beautiful view. The room was very comfortable, including the bed and the aircon worked amazingly well, as did the wifi. The pool areas, in particular the adult infinity pool was absolute paradise. Overall, a really special stay and I would definitely stay again!

I found the main restaurant at the hotel quite expensive. Appreciate hotels charge more, however the prices were more expensive than Sydney, charging $20 AUD for a cocktail, which was also the same price when ordering a cocktail by the pool. The comparison of prices to bars and restaurants in Seminyak was noticeable. I also found the in room dining menu quite limited and would be great to offer more options. I also booked a deluxe king room and noted it didn't have a bath which was fine. However given the higher cost of this hotel, and that is is 5 star, I would expect a deluxe king room would have a bath.
