This is a gorgeous hotel. Loved the artwork in the lobby area. Setting and location are perfect and couldn't be more scenic, next to the Guggenheim museum on the Grand Canal. Staff is great. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay here again. It's a wonderful place.

We were surprised at check out to be asked to pay a voluntary service fee of $40/ day to cover staff tips. We were ok with it, but we would have much preferred to know about this hotel policy up front, because we had been tipping staff right along.

The service staff there was absolutely amazing! Each were very friendly and eager to help in any way.

The only downside was location across the Grand Canal. We had to take a water taxi any time we wanted to go anywhere.

This is a gorgeous hotel in the best location. The staff were outstanding, the service impeccable. And the terrace overlooking the canal was dreamy, it was an incredible experience. This hotel is a must stay at in Venice. Ritz-Carleton esque for certain. I have stayed at Ritz-Carleton hotels and this reminded me of a boutique Ritz.

I was a little disappointed with the breakfast though, but I do understand the significant location of Venice and that everything has to be made on the mainland and shipped. I thought the hot food was excellent, but it was the pastries and bread that I thought did not look or taste like quality bread and pastries. It was good but just not quite what I expected for a hotel of this caliber.

What we really liked about the hotel is the location and the seating area right on the sea. We really enjoyed getting the aperitif there before dinner. The hotel looks great and they keep it clean. The staff were really nice. We liked the breakfast with the view.

The bed was small (160cm) and the room was really hot, the regulator for heat was (we guess) not working properly, we tried to turn the heat down, and after we came back from the city, they’ve turn it back to high, so it was again hot. It was hot even if we closed the AC so in the end we had to open the window at night to get some sleep.

The hotel greeted my family with our room upgrade and perfect presentation of it later on. This is my second time with the hotel and my personal view has become even better! Truly like it! Perfect place for stat in Venice

I cannot find something what was really sad or the things I did not like in the hotel. Potentially the menu of restaurant might have been bigger since I have seafood and fish allergy, but it does not change anything in respect of the hotel!

The staff were very welcoming, obliging and friendly. The location, near a vaporetto stop, was excellent for getting around. The breakfast was very good and the half board offer was excellent value for money. It was my husband 80th birthday during our stay and the hotel treated him very well.

The room was rather warm, but we managed to turn off the heating and open the windows. A second chair might have been nice if it could be fitted in. I don't remember finding a hook in the bathroom. ( I am not completing this immediately after our stay!)

There was an excellent buffet breakfast.There was a very wide range from a hot cooked breakfast, to cereals and continental breakfast, even cake and prosecco! Wonderful location with dining room and terrace facing the Grand Canal.Nearby Vaporetto stop, nice shops and restaurants nearby. Lovely furnishings. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.They changed our room to meet a special request and did not charge extra.Nothing was too much trouble.

We love the location, the historical building and its tasteful contemporary interior design; reflecting our times within a timeless cultural gem that is Venice. The staff was exceptional welcoming; helpful and friendly from arrival to departure. Lovely spaces and thoughtful amenities to memorably start and end the day.

We would have welcomed a set of additional bed blankets as well as tea/coffee making facilities in our otherwise flawless room; a very minor observation in an otherwise great experience.

The location was just fabulous. Breakfast was good. The ambience of the whole place was great. Being right on the Grand Canal meant that a water taxi could pick up and drop off right at the door. We saw so many tourists having to drag their case along cobbled alleys well away from the water.

But it was relatively expensive.

one staff member in the restaurant was unfriendly. Most of the time they are super amazing. But that one guy, I think the manager, or something, when serving the wine, was pretty bad compared to all others. Everyone else is amazing, just one that guys if you are unlucky to have him will ruin the impression badly
