When we entered our room, there was a half-eaten chocolate in the mini bar. I informed the reception about it, but they did nothing. The chocolate was still there when we left the Venice.

Great central location with a 2-3 min walk to St Mark's Square and other attractions within strolling distance. The directions on their website meant a smooth walk from the Alilaguna stop when we arrived. The staff were very welcoming and we managed to get an early check in, which was a great bonus! We needed help with a couple of things while we were there too and the staff resolved them quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this hotel and if we're ever back in Venice this is where we're staying!

Only a couple of small things in that the tea and coffee provided in the room wasn't very well stocked and there was no milk/cream. Breakfast was a bit limited despite being a continental breakfast, maybe a few more pastries, meat and cheese options.

Property is really just 5-7 min walk from San Marco and center itself. Very important thing that may be worth mentioning is that Hotel offers you a free transportation to Murano island with free entrance to one of the glass factories.

We honestly did not like the breakfast. I thought that 4* hotel might have some hot breakfast as well like scrambled eggs or something like that. Although staff was nice…

Had a fabulous stay in Dec 2023. Perfect location- so close to the main square. Our room was huge; facing the canal and very clean. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Didn’t stop for breakfast as it looked a little compact. Chose to dine out. But I would 100% recommend. Got a water taxi back to the airport for 160 euros. Was on time and 25 mins. Definitely worth the experience

We booked the hotel on short notice following a mix up for an alternative with Booking.com. We are very happy that we could get a room at your hotel. The location was perfect, very near all the places and shops we wanted to see. The morning breakfast included in our booking was delicious with a good variety of items. The room was a bit small by US standards but the bathrooom was spacious. Our room looked out at a linen shop and a restaurant making for a pleasant view. The staff assisted with getting a water taxi to take us to the Marco Polo airport which, while costly, is the best way to get to the airport. The driver was prompt and courteous. The hotel said he would accept credit card but he wanted cash. All in all we will definitely stay at your hotel again if we have an opportunity to visit Venice again, and we will recommend it to friends and family. It's a gem in the heart of Venice!

Not much really, but we could have used the adapter shitch/plug in device on on both sides of the beg. We struggled a bit with the TV trying to find news from the US.

Great location. Beautiful common areas. Comfortable room. Fabulous service from all staff, from front desk to breakfast servers to cleaning and maintenance staff. The front desk people were really helpful with getting around the city, especially when the nearby vaporetto stop was closed and when we needed to get to the train station for a day trip out of town. An issue with the lock on our door was resolved quickly and professionally by the engineer, and front desk kept us informed of progress.

Hotel very close to Upscale shops and easy walk to St. Mark's square. Staff very helpful with any assistance needed. Room always cleaned thoroughly. Older style but still comfortable.

Room was across from building which kitchen staff on ground floor very noisy at wee hours of the morning. There is no nightlife nearby. Shops close early and only 1 bar to go to. Breakfast limited to cold food, but still satisfying. Shower doors only 1/2 size, so you need to stand up against the wall to bathe. No dresser draws.

Very convenient to the main tourist areas. Beautiful hotel with beautiful architecture. Very clean. Spacious room.

Our bed was a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast was just ok. Breads were not fresh. Hotel booked a water taxi - when it was time to get to it we were told be could not use hotel dock due to high tide. We should have been told this could happen. The person who helped us with our luggage went do fast we could not keep up. Water taxi driver told us just credit card machine was broken and insisted on cash. Hotel should have ensured with taxi that we were using a credit card.

very good location, few steps from San Marco square. We got the room with the terrace on the top floor with an amazing view!

the hotel is a bit old, still rated as 4 stars but never really refurbished recently. Bathroom had ants in the bathtub. Breakfast is nice but not amazing for what you pay. you pay the location which is 10/10 ! before leaving one guy at the reception tried to get money from us claiming a bedside lamp was broken (which was clearly not true as we left the room in the morning and came back in the afternoon to pick up our stuff from reception). A pity that we left discussing with the receptionist, because the rest of the staff in the hotel was really kind.

Hotel Kette is a fabulous place to stay in the historic part Venice. The location is absolutely superb, in a very desirable area only 200m from St Mark's Square.  The accommodation was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean with a comfortable bed. Our room had a view over a small canal with gondolas passing regularly. It was a relaxing place to return to after a day of exploring the magnificent streets and waterways of Venice. We highly recommend Hotel Kette.
