Great breakfast. Fresh orange juice and everything I needed in a really nice environment. The stuff at the front desk is super helpfull and friendly, hotel is beautifully renovated and everything is super close ( water bus to S.Marco around the corner) I really appreciated their app I downloaded and I could easily extend my check out for a small fee, because my departure was late evening and like that, I could stay comfy for a few more hours and enjoy Peggy Guggenheim collection which is just 200 meters away and its a must see for art lovers. Recomended if you want stay close to the main sites, but still away from the crowds and tourist traps in a peacefull part of Venice.

Amazing staff, modern, great wifi, loved our one bedroom suite with canal view, super clean, loved the location… away from busy tourist spots but walkable, waterbus stop close by, cute shops in the area, breakfast was convenient. Can’t wait to stay here again.

The property was really nice and very clean tidy and staff were exceptionally helpful and super friendly, they went out of their way to help us, and made our stay really comfortable and welcoming. We would definitely recommended and will go for sure .

The staff were exceptional, especially the the receptionist staff and for us the standard of hygiene was outstanding.

Location, staff, cleanliness and breakfast were wonderful.

The reservation system requiring photo id and a non stop blizzard of mails makes me very hesitant to stay in any Sonder property. Emails requiring valuation of responses to previous mails, obviously computer generated, is ridiculous. 18 emails and 6 pages of A4 for a two day stay, comprising 2 days accommodation and 2 breakfasts is overkill. However if you like that ping on your phone, this is the place for you. It could have been a very high score however by the end of 48 hours, enough!

Beautiful hotel in Dorsoduro, a short walk away from the vaporetto stop Salute. That is only one stop with line 1 to San Marco. Very clean, spacious rooms and with plenty of light! It seems the breakfast is good too, and the staff was lovely. Comfortable beds and a small, but serviceable, minifridge. Quite good sound isolation even though our room faced a smaller canal, we slept well and managed to rest. It's a good place to stay if you want a quieter side of Venice, without the tourist crowds like near San Marco or the Rialto bridge, but closer than Arsene or Giudecca to the center. A happy middle I'd say, especially if this isn't your first time in Venice. We were happy with out stay all in all, and loved actually seeing the locals still around. It still felt like a city that is lived in, not just hotels and tourists.

We took two drinks from the minibar and then went to replace them from the store. We still got charged the 10 euro despite the fact we had replaced them the day after, and had told the staff to check and see everything was there. Also, windows are not watertight and we had a but of a problem during the storm on the 2nd of august, as water was streaming in through the window sills and running down the walls. Those were extraordinary circumstances though, and uncommon to happen! They call it a "bomba d'acqua", so it is literally raining by the bucketful. I'd say that this is an extremely rare event and not something to worry about too much.

Family of four, we booked two rooms: both rooms were compact but we didn't come to Venice to stay in a hotel room. The beds were very comfortable, the Air conditioning was excellent (hit the low 30's Celcius during our stay) and the showers / bathrooms had plenty of space. The buffet breakfast was first class: a variety of fruits, juices, cereals, cold meats, scrambled eggs and bacon, freshly brewed coffee etc. If we needed to chill as a group there was plenty of space downstairs or, temperature permitting, out in the courtyard. Location was perfect: quiet and peaceful area and only a few minutes to the Vaporetto routes from Salute (next stop St Marks or stay on board all the way to the Lido).

At €17, even though quality and quantity cannot be faulted, the breakfast price is still steep.

This hotel is full of charm. The room is small but ideal for a solo traveler—cozy, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. As someone with OCD, I was impressed by the level of cleanliness. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. The location is unbeatable—steps from the city’s best restaurants, shops, cathedrals, museums, and just a short walk from the Vaporetto (ACTV Line 1) for easy water taxi access. Overall, my stay was peaceful, comfortable, and effortless. I’d absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in Venice.

If I ever get back to Venice, I will stay here! The hotel was lovely, in a quiet part of Venice with an easy walk to all the restaurants, shops, historic sights, and water bus. We were in Venice at the peak of summer tourism and it was SO NICE to leave the hustle and bustle at the end of each day and retreat to a beautiful, quiet, air-conditioned room in this quaint neighborhood. Two water bus stops are just a five min walk (Zattare, on the blue line, and Salute on the Grand Canal) as well as a delicious, traditional Venetian restaurant -- recommend by the hotel staff -- called Trattoria Ai Cugnai.

Good quiet location away from the tourist masses, friendly staff, simple check in, nice modern interior (hard to find in this price category in Venice), comfortable bed, good breakfast.

Doors are not well isolated against sound. When someone talks in the hallway you can hear it in the room. Breakfast choice could have rotated / changed, was the same every day. No free electricity outlets near the beds.

Prosecco at check-in was lovely. Restaurant recommendations from staff were very good. Areas to sit and relax in the lobby were welcoming, along with the filled self-serve choice of cucumber and orange water (with glasses). The staff were exceptionally kind. The hand-written welcome note and complimentary water in the room were nice touches. Our room views and windows were perfect.

Did not know about the High tide in September to March washing up and flooding the canal walkway (and ruining shoes), that information would have been helpful. Also, did not know about Lungomare d'Annunzio Beach and never heard word of it while in Venice.
