DD724 is Venice’s top quality boutique hotel secret. 10 out of 5 stars. We are grateful to all of the DD724 staff for this wonderful experience. We will return in a heartbeat! DD724 has the most wonderfully inviting atmosphere. It was a perfect space to relax after long days of galleries and museums. The staff are equally as brilliant. Tania, Silvia, and all staff are lovely, helpful, friendly, and kind. It was amazing to be located so close to Peggy Guggenheim. Staff were professional, thoughtful, knowledgeable and welcoming. The room was apartment size, the interior design exquisite. The hotel’s contemporary interior transformations, the safe, quiet, non-tourist location, and lovely breakfast, all made for the delicious alchemy of our escape to Venice. There was great water pressure, perfect sized bathroom and bedroom. Ideal lighting and ambiance in each room with two additional spaces to work from upstairs. DD724 was a place for us to cherish and reflect on the exquisite culture of beautiful Venice. An unforgettable experience.

This is one of my favorite hotel experiences of all time. I was a little bit nervous about traveling alone for my first visit to Venice, but Charming House felt very safe and welcoming. It is a luxurious, modern hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. The rooms are gorgeous and bed was very comfortable! The breakfast was the best I had in my whole 2 week trip in Italy. I loved this hotel so much that I cancelled the next reservation and extended my stay at Charming House! The location is perfect- It is tucked away in Dorsoduro. It’s an easy walk over the Accademia bridge to get to San Marco, but you are away from the main tourist area that is so crowded and loud. The Peggy Guggenheim foundation is next door and well worth the visit! Thank you to everyone at Charming House for making it a great visit. I really didn’t want to leave!!! Outstanding team. Super friendly, great hospitality and very kind. Hotel well located. In total 6 rooms in the main building and another 3 rooms in another building. Hence, it feels a bit like staying in a private context. Breakfast prepared and served with a lot of passion.

In case you are sensitive to noise you probably won't get happy in this hotel as the rooms aren't well isolated.

We had a great stay, rooms are modern, spacious and comfortable. We got the one overlooking the gardens of the Peggy Guggenheim Museum with a nice little balcony for coffee in the morning. The staff is very attentive and helpful and breakfast is excellent.

This accommodation is just as charming as the name implies! Quiet rooms and convenient location in the less hectic district of Dorsoduro. Breakfast is a special treat…delivered in a cosy and beautifully designed breakfast room. Food is delicious and staff always friendly and accommodating. This is our 3rd stay here and we will hopefully be back here again!!

Have stayed multiple times, wonderful staff and location. Will return here on next visit to Venice.

I think to be transparent, there should be mention at time of booking that there is scaffolding around the entire palazzo, which completely obscures the view from the windows. As well, there is intermittent work on the facade going on in the morning. The hotel has no control over this, unfortunately, and the work should have already been finished. I would have stayed anyways, because the staff and the hotel are so welcoming, but is better to know well in advance, not 2 days before arrival. Hard to deal with contractors everywhere in the world it seems.

I was completely charmed: from the wonderful staff to the delightful room and amenities to the excellent location, and then the great breakfast! It is hard to say what was best, but I would pick the staff. They made good restaurant recommendations and got me reservations, but really saved the day when an unexpected transportation workers strike upended my travel plans and she got me a ticket on one of the few running trains!

Good location. Near Vaporetto stops and good restaurants. Reasonably quiet area compared to nearer St Marks Square etc. Great breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful and made us very welcome. They recommended places to visit and local restaurants, also booked restaurant on our behalf.

Everything was just wonderful. I had a room upgrade just for free and a special early morning breakfast, because I wanted to leave early. Extremely comfortable, great location for everything- vaparetto, sights, restaurants. The staff was the kindest, especially the lady, preparing the breakfast. Perfect for everything, definitely would visit again. Thank you!

It was indeed a "charming house" -Perfect location (easy access from airport with alilaguna boats, easy access to San Marco etc) -High level design: modern but Venetian too in contrary with the most hotels with "heavy interiors" -Very good quality of breakfast -Staff kind and helpful A hidden gem - for sure we will come back
