The location, the hotel, the room are very nice.

The breakfast is to simple for Euro 30,00. I have no problem to pay but should be than a nice breakfast, this can be improved much.

The premium double room was huge ( I mean really huge for any hotel room standards and bigger in real life than the photos suggest ) and superb quality too , except that it had no view. The junior suite had a fantastic grand canal view BUT was not as large as the premium double room and a lot of space in the room was wasted in an additional bath tub and wash basins behind a wall behind the bed. A bit strange design and a waste of space what otherwise would have made the room incredible. Very clean and well furnished though. I would stay in the premium double room ( with a canal view) if this one would be available. Best option to choose for sure. The hotel was very neat clean and very comfortable for sure. Luxurious too I could add here. Staff were extremely helpful and very polite and the service was top class. The garden for breakfast was just outstanding and the service again superb. Breakfast was more than adequate infact very sumptuous for European standards. Location of the hotel is just WOW. bang between the Academia bridge and Rialto bridges and on the grand canal. The hotel has its own boat dock so it is super convienent to and from the station and airport. BUT the winner here is the vaperetto stop which is touching the hotel too. This is rare for many hotels as the canal does not have a walk way or promenade and to get to the vapererrto ( water taxi) stop one has to walk through winding streets and backtrack a lot even if the stop is just meters away from the hotel. But this one was at the hotel door. So full marks for this convienence. The terrace bar is incredible and a must do in the evening for sunset drinks. St marks square is a 9 min walk away, rialto bridge 5 mins , Academia bridge 4 mins , and the hotel is close to other squares , restaurants and bars so extremely well located. I would give this hotel a big thumbs up and highly recommend it. PS.

The junior suite seemed a downgrade from the premium double room in size BUT the canal view was just outstanding. Space wasted in the suite due to design. Also the hotel serves a great breakfast and v good room service menu. BUT does not have a full restaurant for meal service neither does the roof top bar serve full meals. This as I found out was due to the small kitchen they have and cannot get permission for a bigger one due to the building being a heritage property. But if they could either tie up with a nearby good restaurant or manage a small curated menu for meals then their garden and roof top area would be winners for the best eating ambience among many hotels. So Pal. Barocci , give this one a deep thought.

We took the junior suite and the view from the balcony was amazing. I dont know why they dont have "balcony" selected in booking.com. Room was very big, access was great from the ferrybus stop right in front and we did not find that loud at all as has been stated here. Breakfast was OK for Venice. It has no restaurant. We stayed for 1 night and staff gave us very good itineary at check in of what to do in what order. There was a bathtub in the room which was great and romantic. For junior suite with this price with this view - Im saying good value. The pictures on booking dont give good credit to that room its better than on the pics.

I dont know really. Maybe bathroom is just a small bit tired but usual as it seems to be refurbished bit less than 10 years ago. But basically im pushing to find something that could be improved. But for us the view and balcony made our stay. So still exxxellent.

The Palazzo Barocci is a beautiful place! It is right on the canal. You can see the Rialto Bridge from our balcony. This is our second time we stayed here. The views are just incredible! Venice at night is the best! Our room was smaller than we would have liked but the balcony made up for it! The breakfast is fantastic! Has everything even eggs if you prefer! The waitresses are soo awesome - always accommodating. They just opened a roof top deck that was gorgeous at night. The drinks were over priced but they were good and the view - WOW! The Palazzo Barocci I'd perfect as it has a bus/taxi stop right in front of the building so lugging around your luggage in Venice - which looks pretty tiresome. Suggestions to anyone visiting Venice get your hotel by the canal and enjoy the walks with no luggage. You will pay more but Highly recommended

Venice this time in May 2025 was quite busy. Almost to busy for us. Room was a bit small for the price but the location was perfect! Drinks on the top deck pricey especially for hotel guests, They should be paying for the same as if they were downstairs in the lounge.

A fantastic location on the grand canal right next to s. angelo no 1 stop and easy walk to all parts of the city. It is expensive to stay in Venice on the Canal but worth it. Very helpful staff. S Angelo is also a stop for the airport Alilaguna orange line but you need to buy a ticket in advance

The Palazzo Barocci is perfectly situated on the grand canal right next to a vaporetto stop. Even with this convenience, the hotel is located in a quiet quaint neighbor and famous sites are within walking distance. We especially enjoy the inner courtyard and the excellent table service. An opportunity to enjoy the rooftop terrace was special with good cocktails and great views. The staff was accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the plentiful breakfast options (including scrambled eggs) and our room was comfortable. Our stay was lovely.

The hotel and amenities are absolutely gorgeous! Everything felt elegant and thoughtfully designed. The staff was attentive and wonderful, making our stay truly enjoyable. Just one small heads-up: at check-in, they may hold your room a little longer than necessary, encouraging you to relax, eat, and enjoy a drink at the restaurant before handing over the room key. After a long international flight, you might just want to rest in your room first. Still, it was a lovely experience overall!

I can't think of one thing I didn't like.

Excellent location on the Grand Canal next to the San Angelo vaporetto stop. Short walk ( 5-10 minutes) to Campo Santo Stefano and a range of good restaurants and bars. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is extremely good, with a small range of hot food and a great variety cold plates, cereal and fresh fruit. December 2024 was our 6th stay at the property. Couldn't speak too highly of it.

I have no negative comments to make regarding our stay, or indeed any of our previous stays at this property. It is *very* good.

The facility and the location is beautiful. Truly so easy to get around using the vaporetto, and close to the best sights. The view from the rooftop patio was unbelievable, and the garden is a great place to relax. The bathroom design is exceptional- the best I've seen.

Our room was very warm and because so many hotels centralize the A.C., we thought that was the situation but it turns out they had not turned our AC on when we checked in. They fixed it when we asked, but we had a really hot night the first night.

The hotel is in a fantastic location - on the Grand Canal. It is located 10 minutes walk from the main tourist areas, which means it's in a slightly quieter location but within an easy distance from all the action. Facilities were great. The staff were super friendly, answered all my questions, and went above and beyond to help my partner and I celebrate our anniversary. The room was a great size with a lovely terrace. Huge thank you for an unforgettable weekend. I would 100% book again.
