During my extended stay in Venice, I needed an affordable option and stumbled upon Locanda Antico Fiore. Comparing it to my previous three-night stay at Hotel Rialto, which was three times more expensive, I was pleasantly surprised. Locanda Antico Fiore offered a much quieter and warmer atmosphere, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Its location was convenient, and the TV was noticeably larger. What truly stood out was the thoughtful addition of a kettle, allowing me to make tea and coffee, a convenience I lacked at Hotel Rialto. The value for money at Locanda Antico Fiore, especially considering the pricey Venetian setting, was impressive.

One quirky detail was the presence of two showers—one in the bathroom and another in the room. Despite this, my overall experience was delightful. Locanda Antico Fiore provided a comfortable and cost-effective stay, making it a noteworthy choice in Venice.

Very Venice like room, Venetian interior, very specious room and bathroom is en suite (some hotels in Venice have private bathroom outside of the room which I’ve experienced and would note advice but this one is in the room). Very comfortable bed and very comfortable cushions. Having stayed in a much more expensive hotel in Venice I could sleep well, here I was so comfortable, very quiet street and had a great night of sleep. Room view is overlooking canal, downstairs is also so Venetian style one way is to canal and other is the street. The only thing when you look out for the property you need to look at post code number - it’ll be straight away obvious. There is no Conscierge at night but late night arrival was organised for me without issue. Very modern reception staff, speaks good English, easy to communicate and just perfect! Highly recommend!

Everything was great.The stuff was very friendly and helpful. I could also drop my luggage 6 hrs before the actual check-in time. I had reservation for a single bed, but anyway upon arrival, they changed themselves to a double bed one [so here I am talking about room 103, with a queen size bed, not what I booked first]. Very clean bathroom, and the rest. Only 10 minutes to the main square, and 20 minutes to the main station (by walk). Air-conditioning was awesome. That's the most in Venice in summer. Btw, I recommend breakfast if you are not into outside one. It was with more than you might want). So, I had a great night, as it was calm, and with a comfortable bed.

There's not much to say, only I might say the shower was a bit tiny! So if you are bigger than me 80kg/175cm you might hit more the wall :).

Everything was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and the location is perfect. We are especially grateful for the detailed instructions we received from the hotel on how to get there from the car parking area (including directions for other types of transport as well) — it helped us a lot! We stayed in a lovely pink room that had everything we needed for a short stay. Venice is truly magical, and charming hotels like this one make the experience even better. On the morning of our departure, we decided to leave before breakfast time, but the kind lady gave us croissants and fruit to take with us — it was so nice. We were very happy with everything and truly appreciated the hospitality.

Location was great - close to all the things we wanted to see/visit, had a vaporetto stop nearby and a cute square with several cafes, bacaro, and restaurants. Our room had a window looking out over one of the small canals which was pleasant. It was also a good size, and spotlessly clean. Air con worked perfectly, which was very welcomed in the humid 34C August heat! There was also an in-room tea and coffee setup, which always pleases an English traveller :D

The shower cubicle in our room was very small. I am only a petite woman and had to be careful not to bang my elbows against the walls/glass.

Very good location, the details to reach this hotel was straight forward, the direction given in the email from hotel staff was really good. With lots of luggage, we were able to reach the hotel in 3-5 mins by walk. We didn't ask anyone. On the last day we were supposed to check out very early morning as we had train. So when we requested the hotel staff if they can provide us the breakfast early, they ensured that packed breakfast is in our room on previous day night. This was very helpful

We reached around 1:00 PM. We waited for for more than 1 hr to check-in as no one was available. If one of the staff was present, at least we would have kept the luggage and would have gone for walking. This was one I didn't like, otherwise everything was good.

We had a great stay at Locanda Antico Fiore. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and all you need to start your day. The rooms whilst a little basic due to the age of the building are very clean and comfortable. It is in a great location for your transfers to and from the airport being a short walk to the S Angelo canal stop. Whilst being a little removed from the main areas of Venice this is a bonus as it’s really quiet but still within a very pretty short walk of everywhere.

The property doesn’t have a lift and the stairs are quite steep which makes carrying luggage a little difficult. In saying that the staff were very eager to help.

Location: The hotel is in a nice and quiet part of Venice, which was important to us because of the large number of people that are on the streets during the busy seasons cause a lot of noise day and night. While the location was nice and quiet, it is also very central, and one can reach anywhere on foot. Additionally, the property is very close to the Sant Angelo vaporetto stop and from the airport you can reach the hotel very easily (just a 2-minute walk). Also this stop is convenient for the return ride to the airport, as the vessel is not full yet and you can board easily (for example, the vaporetto was full after the Rialto stop and the people on the later stops had to wait for the next one 30 minutes later). Room: The room is very spacious and the decoration is also nice and in touch with the city and building. The bathroom was also spacious, the bidet is a good addition. The shower could be a bit larger though. The cleanliness of the room was good, we did not have any issues. The complimentary prosecco was a nice touch. Breakfast: The breakfast was very good, and had all the necessary things that constitute a good breakfast. We were very satisfied with it. The staff were also very helpful and polite.

The location is absolutely perfect! The staff extremely friendly and helpful. The place is charming, close to the boat transfer to the airport and the main line of the vaporetto. Also close to St Marks Square, Accademia and Rialto. You can easily walk everywhere. There's also a water fountain nearby meaning I hardly had to buy any water.

Going up and down the narrow stairs, but this is unavoidable in Venice. It's a historical city, so the places don't have state of the art amenities unless you go to the super upscale 5 star hotels but then you will also pay for it.
