Loved that it was a small old hotel with colourful red and gold curtains and bedspreads giving it a luxury touch to a budget hotel, however the lovely curtains and material wallpaper were dust collectors. The hotel is in a small side street in San Polo so it was nice and quiet at night. There is a breakfast option and a very small roofspace providing a view of the surrounding rooftops. Good selection of teas provided in our room. Would stay again.

The room could have done with a good vacuum of the floor, walls and curtains, otherwise we loved our room

Very good bed and comfort sleep. Very calm place, you nearly do not hear the noise from the town. It is not far to go every direction of Venice. Room 31 has a beautiful rooftop view

The bathroom sink must be washed properly, it also relates to doors and windows. Maybe that is hard to do when the ceiling is to high, but dust on the curtains wasn’t clean for a long time. Please do it! I do believe it could be an hour clean of the room and 9 points are well deserved by now

The room was spacious and comfortable and nicely decorated. The host was friendly. The location was good for the 'other side' of the Grand Canal.

The "other side" (other side from San Marco) seemed to be more of the 'party side' so was noisier and in particular, the street outside the window had some noisy people go by late in the evening. There was also a plumbing issue where the upstairs dripped into our bathroom for a little while. Not sure what the cause of that was.

Perfect location, walking distance from train station and 10-12 minutes walking distance from San Marco. I was actually surprised that room was very big, clean, comfortable and quite (we had triple room). Another important aspect as we were during winter there, is that room was very warm. We stayed only 1 night, didn't have breakfast and didn't request any services, so can't give any feedback on that, but definitly for weekend in Venice that was super choise for us

Nice location in the historic center of Venice. The communication with the staff was easy and efficient. There are complimentary bottles of water in the mini fridge. Overall, good value for money.

The bed linen needs to be updated immediately - I’m sure it’s freshly washed but everything was so worn out that it gives you the feeling that you sleep in some trashy hostel. Also, there was some dust on the furniture and the pillows in the wardrobe didn’t have pillow cases on them so they were practically useless.

I loved the friendliness of the staff of this hotel and the easiness it was to find and also loved the fact that I could get the keys on my phone. Room was so clean and comfortable and while I didn’t get the breakfast I did have a coffee and the staff couldn’t do enough for me and my daughter - really lovely hotel within walking distance to all the museums etc. very reasonable price as well

Did not use the breakfast option. The location of the hotel was great for us. if you have problems climbing stairs I would choose another location but it was good for us. The room was an ok size but if you are here to see Venice that should not sway your decision to stay here.

There was nothing negative about this experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and it was not a problem. We wanted to see a few things after checkout and they held our luggage without question.

The location was excellent, easy to walk to every part of Venice. The breakfast was good and there was a good variety of options. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were lovely too and were available when we needed them.

The only very small drawback is of course that the building is outdated so the bathroom was a bit run-down (but clean!)

Amazing rooms with plenty of space, and really comfortable bedding/furniture! Great location too, and excellent value for money for accommodation in Venice. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, low stress stay while enjoying the city.

Everything was great! We struggled with setting the air-conditioner, and wifi was connection was okay, but did not affect our stay/overall enjoyment.

The location is very convenient in a quiet small street that is relatively quiet. The room in comfortable; it looks exactly as in the photos. The staff was helpful and friendly.

The room is not very spacious, but i guess depending on the room you have booked. There is no lobby and the reception is only specific hours open.
