We were celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary and liked the location. After spending our first two nights in Venice with them. We decided we liked the hotel and the staff so much, That we changed our plans and rebooked two more nights with Palazzetto Madonna. We had different rooms for our two different bookings but both were beautiful and we hope to return to visit again with them

The city fees and hotel fees were higher than I had expected. Also I am used to booking.com pricing that includes taxes and fees and paying through them. But on second booking I had to pay the hotel itself and it was more than a hundred euros more than quoted on booking.com and did not include taxes. Also we had to book a water taxi from the hotel to the airport and we paid the hotel €140 at the hotel reception as they said they had an agreement with the taxi company. When we went to tip our water taxi, he said the fare is €120 Euro and had no idea we had paid the reception at the hotel. So it was an awkward time waiting for him to call back to the hotel to verify we had already paid before we could take our luggage of the water taxi when we got to the airport.

The hotel had a great location and was beautiful, inside and out. There's a bar on the first floor and a courtyard out back to have a coffee or a get-together with friends. Although the hotel exceeded our expectations, nothing compares to the level of service we received. From the front desk to cleaning service, everyone went completely out of their way to make sure our needs were met. On our last day, we were leaving to the airport before the bar opened for breakfast... they acutally packed us (3) care packages to take with us so we could eat! Each bag had a bottle of still and sparkling water, pinapple juice, an apple, cookies, crackers, yogurt, nutella, etc. We spent the next 18 hours travelling without time to stop for food and those care packages SAVED THE DAY!! Bravo to AMAZING SERVICE!!!!! I would give them 11 stars if allowed!

It would have been better if we could have stayed longer...

First time visitor to Venice, arrived late at night due to 8 hour delay, contacted hotel a couple of times via booking.com to keep them informed, quick response reassured us we still had somewhere to stay! Friendly face on arrival, room looked great and was spotless. Location perfect for exploring all of Venice. Breakfast varied, plentiful and tasty. Staff always excellent. We will return to Venice and this hotel.

Honestly, nothing. The hotel was exactly right for what we needed, I genuinely cannot fault either the place or the people.

Location is very good, access to everywhere in Venice is just at the most 20 minutes away. We made transportation arrangements from the airport to hotel with the help of the staff, it is very convenient if you want to get right at the hotel door. The breakfast buffet was exceptional with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious, decorated like a little Palace and had a little terrace with a canal view. At the back of the hotel, there is a very nice patio to chill.

Our room was on the ground floor facing the canal and it was a bit noisy late at night and early in the morning. You can request an indoor room.

The Palazzetto Madonna has a great location in the Dursoduro neighborhood. We really enjoyed how easy it was to walk to all of the sights of Venice. The room was spacious and there was very little pedestrian noise at night, even with 3 restaurants close by. The breakfast offerings were fantastic and all of the staff were warm and friendly. It's what you would expect at this price point in Venice.

It took awhile to figure out the lighting in the room with all of the extra switches. The room temperature was difficult to control. We could hear the muffled conversations in the room next-door.

The service was great. The hotel staff went above and beyond. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and great variety.

Upon arrival there had been a mixup regarding the number of guests and amount of beds requested so we had to change rooms after one night. But the staff was wonderful and rectified the situation immediately and with amazing customer service.

We enjoyed the spacious suite with its balcony overlooking the internal courtyard. The breakfast selections were great and the quality of the food excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is easy to walk to St Marks and Rialto Bridge, along with the many shops and activities inbetween. Many good eating options in the area too. No complaints at all, and a very enjoyable stay over two nights.

Great small hotel centrally located, convenient for city exploration. Very friendly and pleasent stuff, especially Miss Valentina. The room was clean, small but cozy with all we needed. Breakfast was diverse and tasty.

Room temperature was always a bit too warm for me (in the winter) no matter the controls, but not a big deal.

The location was perfect! We got a water taxi straight to the front door because the hotel is located directly on the canal, it was a lot of fun to hop off the water taxi and walk right into the hotel’s front door. The staff was friendly and helpful and answered all our questions. They had a nice breakfast buffet! The room was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we could ask for!

The hotel was exceptional . The room was really amazing , with plenty of space , comfortable beds and amazing bathroom. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choices and a la carte menu . The staff were very helpfull and the location was in the the middle of all Venice districts an attractions. Great hotel.
