I believe the hotel is a family business and the staff was fabulous. They are kind, attentive, and helpful with anything you need. There was a vast option when it comes to breakfast, my room was tidy and nicely equipped and the location is excellent - it is almost in the middle of Venice, but in a calm alley at the same time.

I don't know how it was even possible, since there was AC, a net in the window, and also a chemical repellent device, but still there were so many mosquitoes in my room. I certainly killed more than 20 during that 8 days and I also had many bites. Luckily these mosquitoes should be harmless. However, it is a bit annoying to be woken up in the middle of the night by a buzz next to your ear.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Ca Riza. The hotel is family-owned, and the hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Despite arriving later than expected, the gentleman and his son who manage the property were gracious and accommodating. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated to create a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The location was ideal, central to major attractions yet quiet enough for restful nights. Breakfast was a pleasant addition, and we especially appreciated the opportunity to enjoy our morning cappuccino on the outdoor balcony. The overall ambiance was warm and inviting, and we would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice.

The hotel is a lovely little gem hidden away bang in the centre of Venice's old town. (Within walking distance of the railway station and the typical Venetian sights.) The staff are genuinely warmly welcoming, helpful and hospitable. The breakfast was among the best breakfast experiences I've ever had at a hotel. It was served (not buffet) but from an open almost all inclusive all you can eat style menu with a wide variety of local foods and specialties, mostly from local producers, some products even produces directly at the hotel (e.g. their delicious yoghurts). Most importantly regarding the breakfast, the food is made and served with a lot of love and you can really tell how important the quality of food and the customer's enjoyment is to them. Definitely recommend and if/when I get the chance to return to Venice will be staying there again!

It's well worth the price! A lovely hotel, lovely room, bang in the centre of Venice (most tourists actually stay on the mainland which is cheaper), fantastic included breakfast, and great staff that make you feel at home/on a proper relaxing vacation. Well worth the price. (I.e. I have nothing bad to say.)

Our hosts Romano and Davide were very helpful and kind. We received detailed instructions to get to the hotel, which was especially helpful in Venice! The room was perfect and tasteful. I was especially impressed with the big bathroom. The breakfast was exceptional! A big menu to choose from. Sat in a beautiful covered patio.

I had a hard time with setting right temperature in the room. It is of no fault of the hotel, I wasn’t familiar with the system and I didn’t feel like asking our hosts. I am certain, they would have addressed it immediately.

A good and convenient location in the maze of Venice. Simply perfect for a short stay as we had! The accommodation is easy to find if you follow the instructions sent to you. Of course the staff can provide you a very detailed instructions before your arrival if you ask for :) The hotel is tight - hallways and staircases are narrow so keep this in mind if you want more spacious hotel, but this is what it makes it to be Venice! By the way, the breakfast was nice and enjoyable!

Don't know what happened but late at night electricity went down in all of the building and maybe whole district. Don't know the cause of it but till the morning everything was fine again.

Fantastic location close to nice restaurants, cafes and bars but far enough away from the big tourist spots to be not too busy. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Davide who was the perfect host. The hotel is very traditional with loads of character. The family room we had was spacious and well laid out. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a private bathroom which was down the corridor, this was spacious, well equipped and was lockable (we had the only key) I’m highlighting this as a dislike but really is wasn’t a big problem, except if the kids needed the toilet in the middle of the night.

Good day. The Ca'Riza is charming, family business hotel, which makes it very cosy and very much guest-friendly. Location is perfect since it is walking distance to all of the interesting things in Venice but at the same time hotel is located at dead-end street making it very quiet even during the busiest time of the day. We had a very charming room at the second floor, with roof constructions exposed on the ceiling making it even more interesting. What is especially worth recommending is the breakfast being prepared from the card, on request from fresh ingredients to everybody's liking - the choice is really wide from light croissant with jam to omelettes and salami with fresh toasts (we could not resist having tiramisu which is also an option ;) Generally speaking our stay with Ca'Riza was simply great; fantastic place, fantastic people running it (always helpful, always smile) and fantastic location. We would highly recommend this place to everybody. Thank you very much for such a lovely stay dear Ca'Riza! Slawek

The room was snug and had everything needed. The breakfast options were quite nice, the vast majority is for free, but of you want to have omelets or fresh juice, it is extra pay. However, we enjoyed a lot local specialties, caprese and crostinis. It's so continently located, 10 min walk from train/bus station from where you can go to the aiport. Lots of delicious restaurants around and at night it's quite relaxing and with no noise, that I really liked after the busy day.

Nothing what I can think of. We enjoyed pretty much everything.

The location is very close to the train/bus station so if you don’t like walking with luggage this is the place for you because other than taking a water taxi, Venice is very much pedestrian so you have to walk everywhere. The room made you feel like you were in a palace, everything about it was magical. The breakfast was very delicious and made on the spot by the hotel staff. One thing to note, because for us it was a novelty: they hand you a menu with a lot of options, try not to order too much because everything you order will come on a different plate as a meal of its own. Order what you would like to eat first and then order some more once you’ve seen the portions.

There’s nothing I would change about this property, it has a lot of charm.

A wonderful place to stay in an old building with a wonderful atmosphere, beautifully decorated rooms with style, warm and responsive hosts - all this made us feel comfortable and cozy, like guests in a friends' home. With a wide variety of food for breakfast to choose from according to your taste. Located in a peaceful, quiet area, so you can enjoy the spirit of the city, away from the crowds of tourists.

There is nothing I didn't like.
