Rooms were clean and bathrooms were updated- filled with Venetian charm. The attendant helped us carry our suitcases up the stairs, packed a take away breakfast for me as I had an early flight the next morning and was centrally located. Lovely stay- would return there again. The staff was amazing.

No elevators, steep steps up to the reception area but I guess these are old properties which can’t accommodate an elevator?

Excellent location not far from the train station and Piazza Roma. Great interior lobby. Excellent rooms with great bathrooms. The breakfast was delicious and relaxing, and the staff smartly asked us the night before for our preferred breakfast time to make sure there was enough room for the other guests. The staff also permitted us to store our baggage for the day after we checked out. We were able to retrieve our bags on the way to our train. Overall, we had an excellent stay!

Great location, quiet place, close to the main attractions. The staff is amazing, everyone is very welcoming. The breakfast is amazing, there is enough of everything, for us and our child there was everything we needed.

Excellent directions were sent in advance so hotel was easy to find from the train station. We arrived at 9am and were able to leave our bags till the 1pm check in time. We were also given a coffee and pastries on our arrival and the host took the time to explain the main sights of Venice and how to access them. Breakfast was amazing - great variety and excellent service. Our room was wonderful and spacious with a terrace and the shower was excellent - a rain shower style with hand held option.

Our room was a little hot - we prefer a cold room. However, we were able to open the door to the terrace for a breeze.

We loved our stay at Palazzo Odoni. The location was excellent, easy walk from and to Pze Roma and the train station even with luggage (over 2 small bridges to Pze Roma, one big one to the train station) and a fun walk to the main tourist sites but we also felt we were in our own hidden oasis. The breakfast was wonderful, the room was a little crowded but the staff did a great job serving us for things we couldn't get ourselves. We were 2 couples (60s and 70s) in the 2 room king suite, on the same floor as the lobby/desk/breakfast room, which is up a steep flight of stairs. The room was a little quirky in that the couple in the back room had to walk through the other bedroom, but we knew that and it was fine. 2 bathrooms and an entry foyer were wonderful bonuses. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would love to go back sometime. The staff person on check in was extremely helpful, offering a paper map and good directions for getting around as well as a few restaurant recommendations. We went to one of the recommended restaurants and it was so much better than one we found on our own the night before.

The breakfast area is a tad tight, and one morning we had to wait for a free table, but it was fine, just a few minutes' wait. As mentioned by others, there are steep outside stairs to get to the hotel but a staff person came out to help us with our luggage and we didn't mind at all having to climb the stairs at the end of our day. Just be away if you have mobility issues.

It was very clean and location was great. Breakfast may be simple to some but it was exactly what I was after. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. This accommodation exceeded my expectations!

More of an fyi than a complaint, there’s about 20-30 steps to go up to our room - it is what it is. There is no cooling function in the room during cooler months (staff mentioned cooling is available in warmer months). Granted it is the start of spring and its 5degrees outside, but the room was very hot and stuffy. Not a deal breaker but could have been more comfortable.

This property is in a great location to visit Venice. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the train station and in a quiet part of town relative to the tourist hot spots. It allowed us an easy walk from the train even with rolling bags and to avoid paying for a water taxi. The hotel is small, but very comfortable with friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast was excellent. The pictures give the impression that it’s a continental-style breakfast, but eggs are made to order upon request and there are lots of options for fruit, pastries, coffee, espresso, and juice.

While I do not consider it a negative because this part of town is less busy and quieter, this hotel is a bit of a long walk to the most popular tourist areas of Venice, but water taxis are available all over the city.

The building is absolutely fabulous. Stuff and management are super kind and provide excellent service to their guests. Room and its view was amazingly pleasant.

Only one thing: the reception is at the second floor (second floor for the American counting of the floors; first floor for the Italian calculation of floors which counts the first floor as ground floor and the second floor as first floor) and there is no elevator. This creates some kind of inconvenience with the luggage but it must be understood that you are visiting a city on the sea and many of these building, including this one, were built centuries ago, and, therefore, also because of these details you can fully appreciate the beauty of an ancient building which has been preserved and maintained along the time without hard alterations. At least this is my opinion, and it is highly subjective.

The hotel is an easy 8min walk (2 bridges, 1 ramp) from the bus/train stop at the Venice terminal. This is more important than you might realize until you are walking through town with airport-style roller suitcases where there are no cars, and bridges that have stairs. The courtyard has amazing atmosphere, the owners speak impeccable English, the continental breakfast was amazing (the made-to-order cappuccino was delicious), and the rooms were very quiet for being so close to everything.

Really enjoyed my stay at Palazzo Odoni. The place has a lot of charm and character, and it’s in a great location—close enough to Venice train station, but still nice and quiet. The breakfast was really good, with a nice variety and everything was super fresh. I also felt very safe and comfortable the whole time, which made a big difference. The staff were friendly and helpful—and they were nice enough to hold our bags for a couple of hours after checkout, which made things a lot easier for us. Would absolutely stay here again if I come back to Venice!
