location is close to the train & bus station (across the canal from bus depot) so an easy walk. For some reason we were upgraded to a very nice room with a small balcony looking over the canal - wonderful surprise. They have a nice little garden where we relaxed while waiting until our room was ready which was fantastic after a long train ride and the brutal heat.

The breakfast was extra on our room rate.

We were staying as a couple for 3 days. Our stay in the hotel was just perfect: good location, beautifully styled rooms, helpful and caring staff, everything was very clean and our personal highlight was breakfast. We sincerely thank the hotel and its team for making our stay in Venice unforgettable.

Our stay was absolutely amazing, I wish we spent more time here! Staff was extremely warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, they also gave us a complimentary drink at the bar which we really appreciated. The hotel was very easy to locate & a short walk from the train station, felt was less than 10 minutes. Garden was absolutely stunning, and again — the staff really made our trip! The area had lots of restaurants, shops, etc nearby but wasn’t crowded which we really appreciated. The restaurant next door had the best tiramisu & cheesecake, perfect for a late night sweet treat. We’ll definitely be back!

We couldn’t stay longer

It is a very charming property with great service that is located near the train station and car park, with easy taxi pickup and good service. Breakfast was hearty and generous spread. The aircon was fine too.

While there are lifts in the property, there are some rooms that require you to conquer the stairs with your luggage. However, the staff are prompt in helping to move. The interior style of the rooms are Classical-themed. It might be a bit too pink-gold for my preference, but otherwise, all are great.

This was my second time in Venice and I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Olimpia Venice. It is perfectly located, just four minutes from St. Mark's Square and close to one of the main bridges leading into the city center. The view from the window overlooking the canals and the opportunity to have breakfast with a view of the city provided a good first impression of Venice. I would particularly like to highlight the friendliness and professionalism of the reception staff. They gave us clear, detailed, and step-by-step directions and helped us navigate the city. They also recommended a fantastic, authentic restaurant that we would have otherwise missed. We received some valuable tips on how to make the most of our limited time in Venice, making our stay fulfilling and memorable.

There was a small disappointment, however, regarding the hotel's appearance. Some aspects of the room didn't quite match the photos on the booking website. While this left a slight feeling of inconsistency at check-in, the overall experience was still pleasant.

The location of the property was perfect for traveling to other parts because we were close to the transportation hub of Venice. The water buses, the taxis and everything was right within a two minute walk from our hotel. We had an abundance of delicious restaurants, nearby, and the morning breakfast offerings were plentiful and wonderful and the staff congenial happy and very accommodating.

It was really nothing to comment about regarding anything negative about the property. Everything was wonderful.

The hotel is great, we were here for 3 nights. We were welcomed very well after midnight due to our late flight. At the reception they gave us a map for AVM (you also have an app) this is a water taxi. 1 day is 25e, 2 days is 35e and you can ride unlimitedly we were with this to Murano and Burano. The staff is great and the rooms are great, there is always hot water and clean towels. I asked for an iron and I got it (a steam iron which is great if you only have hand luggage) The hotel is 2min from Piazzale Roma. Definitely if I visit Venice again I will visit this hotel again. Very nice small clean hotel . Location is very convenient for all type of transportations - train, bus , taxi to airport. It's approximately 30 minutes walk to ST. Marco Square. If you prefer a quite place, away from daily crowds and with access to transportation - this is a perfect hotel. If you want to be close to all main attractions in Venice you may pick place closer to St. Marco square . For our goals it was perfect.

The room was little bit small, but it was expected . Breakfast was very basic .

Great location on the canal side near to the taxi drop off area (a few minutes walk) Traditional Venetian hotel with a lovely garden area The hotel offers a fabulous buffet breakfast, well worth the money and the staff are so very friendly and helpful.

The only small issue we had was the constant humming sound from the hotel ventilation system through our room (4th floor) which was quite annoying at first but eventually we got used to it.

Very good breakfast with seating inside, canalside, on the terrace and in the garden. Extremely friendly staff. Amazing room decor with view onto the canal. Clean. The hotel is situated right next to the bus 'station' (open-air so not as bad as it sounds) the advantages of which were brought home when we saw people lugging cases through the streets and over the bridges deep in the city. Thus the hotel is right on the edge of the city and it can be a long walk to major sights however, shops, restaurants and a good icecreamery are only two to three minutes walk. Seating on the canal (a small one but it has gondolas moored outside) means its easy and pleasant to have a drink and feel part of Venice.
