The hotel is great, we were here for 3 nights. We were welcomed very well after midnight due to our late flight. At the reception they gave us a map for AVM (you also have an app) this is a water taxi. 1 day is 25e, 2 days is 35e and you can ride unlimitedly we were with this to Murano and Burano. The staff is great and the rooms are great, there is always hot water and clean towels. I asked for an iron and I got it (a steam iron which is great if you only have hand luggage) The hotel is 2min from Piazzale Roma. Definitely if I visit Venice again I will visit this hotel again. Very good breakfast with seating inside, canalside, on the terrace and in the garden. Extremely friendly staff. Amazing room decor with view onto the canal. Clean. The hotel is situated right next to the bus 'station' (open-air so not as bad as it sounds) the advantages of which were brought home when we saw people lugging cases through the streets and over the bridges deep in the city. Thus the hotel is right on the edge of the city and it can be a long walk to major sights however, shops, restaurants and a good icecreamery are only two to three minutes walk. Seating on the canal (a small one but it has gondolas moored outside) means its easy and pleasant to have a drink and feel part of Venice.

The staff were a highlight, the welcome and advice we received on arrival was great. The recommendations we received for dinner were perfect. Every encounter we had with the staff was good. The room, bed and pillows were comfortable. The complimentary water was appreciated. The breakfast was great. The location was good for us as we caught the bus from the airport and just walked a few minutes to the hotel. When we return to Venice we will try to stay at this hotel again! There was a little machinery noise outside at 5am Saturday morning.

Very very cute little hotel at a short distance by foot from bus station. We only had 1 night booked in Venice. Wanted to drop luggage off, get changed, then go out and explore. Staff were welcoming and made us feel very happy to be there. Our room backed onto the lovely back garden. Beds were very comfy. Rooms quiet even though we were there at a busy time just before Christmas. Would highly recommend stopping here, do not be put off by the proximity to bus station, its a really lovely hotel with an amazing back garden you'd not expect in Venice…

Only downside is that we did not stay longer!

Absolutely would recommend this place to anyone. Everything was great and the location was super convenient to the buses, trains, and vaporetto so you can drop your bags quickly and be on your way! The staff is super helpful. I wouldn't include breakfast just because finding cicchetti around the city is such a big part of the Venice experience, but we added it for the morning we left and the breakfast was pretty fantastic.

The bed was a little harder than I would have preferred but still comfortable

The location was awesome. Short walk from the train station albeit up and down a few bridges. You can hire a cart service to carry the baggage which helped. Minutes to taxi and bus stop as well as the being at the head of the Grand Canal to jump on the vaporetto. Alot of good restaurants in walking distance as well. The staff were very welcoming and patient answering questions and providing tips on where to go and how to get there. The hotel was super clean. There was a great indoor breakfast room as well as a courtyard for sitting. We met some other fun travelers while sitting in the hotels bar.

This hotel offers a true taste of old Venetian charm, complete with a picturesque canal view. Its proximity to Piazzale Roma and the parking garage made arrival by car effortless. Stepping inside, however, revealed the constraints of a historic building: our room was undeniably cozy, as was the bathroom, and the elevator and stairs were rather cramped. Yet, the staff's warm and attentive service, coupled with the hotel's prime location in the heart of the tourist district, made it an acceptable, albeit compact, experience.

Hello, I would like to say – the Hotel Olimpia is spectacular! I am thankful for the Hotel`s team! Our trip to Venice started at midnight with a nice encounter with Roberto, who was selected by the hotel to deliver us from airport to Olimpia. English speaking gentleman with a good knowledge of local history- our trip to the Hotel was like guided tour through Treviso – Meistre – to Venice. Hotel experience: great location, it had access to different transport methods (gondola ride, water buses, trams, regular buses etc), amazing startingpoint for sightseeing and dinner experiences ( different options nearby); hotel rooms are light and clean, all needed equipment was included ( air conditioner, hairdryer, even mouthrinse and a comb were placed in the bathdroom ( hygienic packages!) and lot of more!) Wide range of breakfast choices and option to sit in the garden or next to the canal side. Coffee choices! – based on request possible to order good quality cappuccino.

Location was great. It’s a very short walk from the buses, but far enough away to not hear the noise. It was easy access to water taxis, gondolas and great reasonably priced restaurants. It was a 25 minutes walk from st marks, which our 6 and 9 year old managed in the heat, there are a lot of shady spots on the way. The best thing for us though was some of the staff. I lost my drivers license while there, and the lady on reception couldn’t have been more helpful, she called places, and even offered to walk around there. The same lady recommended some great restaurants, we went to one of them and had a fantastic meal. Everyone was very helpful. Rooms were really clean, and had all the things needed for a family. P.S. my 6 year old girl said the breakfasts were great and the beds were super comfy.

Nothing.

We could not have asked for a better boutique hotel. A Quick 10 min walk from the station and 5 min from the airport bus terminal (15 min ride to the airport). The location was stunning. Right on a canal and three or four lovely restaurants plus a large mall by the station and a discount store called Prix just around the corner. The staff were incredible from the Pieter’s to the waiters to the reception/concierge staff Marta Maria and Laura made every question their mission to answer in as much detail as possible. Making our stay in Venice even more incredible. The hotel has a beautiful garden too although with the heatwave while we stayed it was too hot to use but the Aircon in the room was perfect. As was the decor. This is the perfect example of a hotel that works well, quant and has attention to detail. We stayed in a garden view room with a nice sofa. Room 303 Thank you Olimpia for making our stay all we had hoped for!!

If I had to nitpick the shower is a little small but keep in mind we are both over 6ft tall so others might not feel the same.
