CLEAN, QUIET, FRIENDLY STAFF. This sweet little hotel is right by the train station and a number of parking garages - a very busy part of Venice but once you're inside, all is serene. My room opened onto a busy parking lot facing the train station but it was completely quiet. I drove to Venice Ca' Doge offers private parking and there are several lots immediately adjacent. Note - parking is quite expensive, about €40 per day. It's easy to get into the main attractions of Venice by water taxi or bus. Totally recommend! There are lots of nice places to eat a few steps from the front door.

Wifi was anemic.

Honestly, out of all the places we stayed during our time in Italy, this was the most convenient and comfortable. Venice was the last stop of our journey so I was almost burnt out. Coming to this spot reenergized me! I greatly appreciated the location and the service and the room itself. I literally booked the room an hour before arriving while on the train from Florence. The location was perfect since we only had one day to explore Venice. It's right across a canal bridge from the train station for our arrival, and it's right across the street/parking lot from the shuttle bus that takes you directly to Marco Polo Airport for our departure. When we arrived midday, we were welcomed by a super nice woman and the desk who gave us great tips on how to best experience our time there with the short amount of time, basically make your (as best as you can) to Saint Mark's Basilica and then take a boat bus back through the grand canal (frequent stops). there is also a more direct boat bus that takes you around (less stops). It was the best place to stay for our final night.

The location is perfect, you get off the bus and you are only a few meters from the hotel. It is also a great starting point for trips to the center or to the ferry. The apartment is amazingly large (35m), nicely furnished and very clean. Cleaning is done every day and perfectly.

The only downside to this hotel is the extremely loud floors, so if you are not on the top floor and someone walks over you during the night, you won't get much sleep (our upstairs neighbors arrived or left between 3 - 4 a.m. and we couldn't sleep). There was also very noisy cleaning the streets (or trash), I don't know why it has to be done between 5 - 6 a.m.

The location was perfect for us. We had one night in Venice with heavy luggage (after a month in Europe). We wanted a hotel that was in Venice but where we didn’t have to drag our bags around. Ca Doge is right at the transport hub. The room was clean, spacious , air conditioned with a nice bathroom. It was very comfortable and quiet (despite the traffic). The lady at the front desk is very helpful. The canals (and Vaporettos) are 50m from the door. The airport bus is also 50m from the door. St Marks square is a pleasant 20-30 slow walk from the hotel. Around the corner are lots of charming (and cheap) restaurants. There is a Coop supermarket next to the Vaporetto wharf.

It has no views (unless you like looking at cars & buses). But as we were in Venice for only one night, we only used the room to rest/sleep. Had to carry the bags up a couple of flights of stairs.

room , bathroom were clean beds comfy and room very big. we stayed one night and was exactly what we wanted because of its location to people mover and taxis. we arrived early and staff did their best to have the room ready asap

no lift, so not great carrying suitcases especially with my mother who is 82, also no breakfast available.. but we were able to get breakfast in the square

Location and on-site parking was convenient. Room was big and open. Staff were courteous and helpful.

No elevator and had to manually take luggage up 2 additional Floors. The bed was very hard. Mosquitoes were getting in room without the windows being open and we both received some insect bites on our uncovered faces during sleep.

It’s a nice place if you like to drive your auto :) you can find a good rooms (price=quality) with a very nice parking, your car will be safe. The same time is very comfortable location with many directions. Thx guys from the parking! They are very careful with cars !!!

Location was great. Within 100 m of Vaporetto and just over the bridge. Parking was available at the hotel and easy. Family room was nice and large. They allowed us to leave our bags in the morning after parking the car.

Hair dryer needs replacing. If you stay here bring your own. After 5 minutes of trying to dry my hair it shut itself off and my hair was only slightly less wet than straight out of the shower.

Pretty old hotel, but location is very good. Would not suggest buying option with breakfast. They don't have their own restaurant, and basically you need to go to another place and money limit is not even enough to have a proper breakfast for two.

Very convenient to the bus station since we have very heavy luggages. When we have to move our heavy luggages to and from the Venice Marco Polo airport, we need not cross the big bridge to Venice city. It's only a road that separates the bus stop and the hotel.

The hot water was not hot enough to take a nice shower.
