The staff was really friendly and helpful. The location was really good. Easy access to bus and trains.

I had a continental breakfast which was just sweets but guests can upgrade.

Close to taxi and water bus. The continental breakfast was excellent!

Far from places to eat lunch and dinner

Ideal location at the beginning of the Grand Canal with easy access for our taxi meaning you didn’t have to walk a long way with the suitcases as some guests in other hotels Worth remembering if you book a hotel right in the centre of the city . Very clean room . Changed towels daily which was a bit excessive . Great location for exploring the city and right next to the water bus terminus

The breakfast menu was somewhat limited Our B& B package ( which wasn’t cheap) included the continental breakfast . For a 7 night stay it became very repetitive albeit fresh and flavoursome Also although the waiters appeared to speak good English we never quite got what we ordered Ie white toast instead of brown, Earl Gray tea instead of English Breakfast Tea. No butter or jam unless asked for The choices as articulated on the menu didn’t work because when you selected an option you were told you couldn’t have it A bit bizarre but became rather amusing in the end . The hard tiled floors did make the rooms a bit noisy at night

The location and the gentlemen at the reception the next day were extremely kind and very helpful!

The staff on the day of arrival weren't very helpful. The concierge acted like he was.doing us a favour and never smiled once. The receptionist had zero information on all questions asked even down to questions regarding the popular Gondola service. The next day I requested for an iron and I was told they don't give one and I'd have to send my clothes to laundry to get it ironed and get it back in the afternoon... This is something I wanted to wear that morning and even after explaining they didn't proffer any solution.

This is a beautiful hotel to stay in when visiting Venice. We were fortunate to get a room with a canal view, which was lovely. The room was very clean, and the amenities were excellent. The location was great, just a 6-7 minute walk from the train station. However, be aware that if you have heavy luggage, you'll need to carry it over a large bridge to reach the hotel. A porter service was available but was quite costly, so we managed on our own. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating, making check-in and check-out easy. There were fantastic restaurants within walking distance, and we had one of the best meals of our holiday just a 5-minute walk away.

We decided to spend the night here since we had a flight out of Marco Polo airport early the next morning. The location was perfect. We dropped off our rental car at Piazzale Roma which was just right across the street so we didn't have to lug our suitcases far. The next morning we were able to catch a bus to the airport right outside of the hotel. Super convenient location, especially for a short stay like ours! The hotel itself was also very nice. We were able to check in quickly and went out to take advantage of the few hours we had in Venice, so we weren't in the room much. We had a canal view room which was very nice and the room had all the amenities you might want - coffee maker, mini-bar, etc.

Everything was great! Just wish we could have stayed longer :)

The biggest advantage of this accomodation is definitely location. Very close to the bus station, train station, all the stops of the boats. Our room (the roof apartma) was very spacious and clean. I highly appreciated the huge terrace with a beautiful view on the Cran Canal. All the staff was very kind to my children.

We really did not enjoy the breakfasts. For the next time, I would not choose them. Breakfasts are a la carte (which is not a problem), but they are very very poor, there is a lack of fruit, no vegetable and in the cheapest version (20 Eur per person) you do not have anything salty. I know, there are used to have breakfasts like this in Italy, therefore I should probably count on it.

I loved everything about this beautifully refreshed authentic masterpiece of a hotel. The staff!!!! Charming Helpful and added to the experience! All of them. !!! The location. ( the best in Venice by far). I can not say enough about this hotel. But better than any other hotel in Venice. Abd I am picky. Bravo!!!

Everything was perfecto and beyond

Chose local pasticcerias for brioche and cappuccino instead of taking hotel breakfast, eg Dolce Vita; hotel seemed popular with other breakfast guests. Excellent room, shower and position overlooking the grand canal and only 20 metres from the airport bus stop, close to vaporetto stops, easy walking, felt safe at night. Friendly staff and loved the laid on motor launch ride to the sister hotel palazzo stern for our evening meal. Recommend Venice tours guided tour of basilica, self guided audio tour doges palace, gelato and aperol spritz facing San Marco basin. Loads of bars, restaurants, pasticcerias and shops everywhere. Never use yellow ATM, use only bancomats.€1.50 public WC so go in bars and cafes and have a drink

Only Italian tv channels except sky news and cnn, but good excuse to go out in the evening instead.

The architecture and venetian grandeur of the saloon type bedrooms and hallways. Plenty of nooks to read or listen to music or simply take in the view of the Grand Canal. The decor was delightful and every little detail was like an amuse boucle. I will definitely return.

I would have liked better quality products in the bathroom such as Ortiga but it's a small detail. I always like tea when I go away as I am a travel writer, so a kettle is always a welcome edition to any room.
