Beautiful boutique hotel in a quiet, convenient canal - facing location. Located 5 minutes walk from St Lucia train station and major ferry stops provided easy access on arrival and transport to all significant tourist spots within Venice. Friendly staff and comfortable size room with generous breakfast buffet provided and access to a sunny private courtyard. We were fortunate to have been upgraded to a canal view room, which provided an incredible experience for us. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Very comfortable bed, good water pressure and stable water temperature in the shower. Good breakfast for Italy (decent savoury selection - boiled eggs, ham, cheese, tomatoes + various sweet fare, yogurts and fresh fruits). I was able to borrow plug adapter at reception at no charge. Excellent location - 3 min walk from bus station, 1 min from Grand Canal. I can recommend without hesitation.

Wi-Fi slow at times. I’d love to have kettle in the room or a bar to get evening tea but thus is unlikely in Italy.

The location is simply perfect. The bus station is so close by. The Grand Canal is literally 10 yards away. The train station is not far off. We had a great room with the canal view. The options at break fast were plenty and fresh. The granola and coffee at breakfast especially were very good quality. The room was of a very good size with the canal view, as we requested. The bathroom was very clean and all facilities worked as expected. With the window open, it felt very fresh inside.

Our room were was a very good sized double bedroom. But unfortunately the mattress was not a double bed mattress, it was two single mattresses put together. This was not ideal. The softness/hardness of the mattress could also be improved as I had a stiff back in the morning each day. The breakfast could have more fresh fruit options, especially of seasonal fruits, like berries etc in spring/summer. But these things did not take away anything from the satisfaction level of my stay.

It canal view and good location as it is walk-able from the train station. Just be ready if you have big luggages as you have to cross bridges. I thought the hotel is old based on pics but actually is modern (deco).

None! We loved the stay even though it was only one night. It might take a lot of walk (15-25mins) going to more tourist destinations (Rialto Bridge, Doge Palace) but it was a good experience to walk in the bridges of Venice.

Charming hotel , with comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms. The bed was super comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect, just 4 minutes walk from the Piazzalle Roma for coming or going to the airport and train station. The stuff were very friendly and kind. Special thanks to the front desk personnel. The hotel is open 24/7, which was great because I had a late night flight. And they also have a luggage storage, so I walked wandered in Venice before my next flight. I had a very lovely stay at hotel Gardena and will definitely come back. Very much recommend it.

The hotel is exceptionally well presented externally and the interior decor is somewhat period in style but nicely presented. The location is perfect as it’s on a small canal some 75m from the grande canal so less noise. Our room had a view overlooking the canal with several restaurants and bars close by. The rail station and bus station are literally a few minutes walk away. Breakfast was good and the outside sunny garden setting was great. We used the water buses and the nearest stop (piazza Rome) was an easy stroll to get there. All in all a definite positive stay and would highly recommended it.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect. just a few minutes ڜwalk from everything. The staff at the reception were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. Honestly, I spent most of my days out exploring, so I didn't mind much, but just to note: my room didn’t have a view over the canal as I expected when booking. Still, it didn’t bother me in the end. If I ever return to Venice, I will definitely come back here!

The room didn’t have a kettle, and I caught a bit of a cold during my stay, so I really needed some tea. I asked the lady at reception and she kindly gave me hot water and a cup. I really appreciated the gesture. Still, having a kettle in the room would have been more convenient

It was just a beautiful and upscale stay in Venice. The view was beautiful right on the canal and with sunset I enjoyed just staying in the room and watching it. It’s super convenient that they have someone at the desk. They are all so helpful around the clock. They have helped me with my stay it’s honestly so worth it. For example, I left my toothbrush behind as I was leaving for my next country. I called them a couple weeks later and asked if they found it. They said yes and sent me all the directions to properly send my toothbrush back to my home in the states. They said “we are at your service” really feels like a trustworthy business. I will 100% stay here in my next time in Venice as I come every summer. This place is worth it. Since it’s right next to the train station. Plus the bus station that takes you to and from the airport. Just such a gem

The hotel is just in front of the Santa Lucia train station, which means you don't even have to take a vaporetto. The room is clean, good towels and a toilet kit. Nice garden to have breakfast. The staff was very kind to make a breakfast box for us.

1) Detected some mold in the bathroom. 2) Though many thanks for the breakfast box that the reception staff kindly prepared for us (because of an early walk), we had an unpleasant experience with the kitchen staff. As we returned from the walk 5 min before the breakfast ended, we went to the breakfast area to have something to drink (because there were no drinks in the breakfast box). We also took a piece of cake and salami (oh no). The staff lady told us to leave because we already had a breakfast box. Bruh. You really think we went there to have a "second" breakfast? That's ridiculous.

The location of this hotel is super convenient PLUS it is on 2 canals so you have a view if you select a canal view room. An easy 5 minute walk to both the train station, bus station, and Pzle. Roma. From these locations you can easily get anywhere (Murano, Airport, Florence, Vaporettos to local sights like Rialto and San Marco (or just walk and wander the alleys and find treasures). The canal view was exciting as gondolas and delivery boats were constantly passing by. Only thing that would have made it better is if there was a balcony off the room. The staff at this hotel is also really lovely. Everyone from the front desk reception to the breakfast staff could not be more accommodating or ready to help. The deluxe room is spacious and has a modern and large bathroom. There is a TV and also heat in the room (not sure if there is A/C for those traveling during warmer months.
