We are not really demandibg about our expectation.Only one thing is not good and this is limitstion that last moment to get back to building in the evening no later than 10 o'clock pm.After 10pm it is not possible to enter the building because the door is locked. I am not soldier in training but a tourist.I will never get back because of that.

Everything was good apart from this limitation explained above

we stayed in the loft/attic and had plenty of space. two single beds in a seperate room (albeit not closed off) and then a double and fold our couch to comfortably sleep a party of 5.

top floor without a lift (as most/all of Venice) but we just stored our suitcases downstairs so it was fine.

The location was close the train station on a quiet street which was great. It is a bit of a walk from the main attractions of Venice. The AC worked great. Was really nice to come back to a cool private space. Three people in total stayed and there was more than enough rooms and beds.

Lots of stairs to get to the room. Be prepared to haul your luggage up.

Corte Canal was the best possible place to stay in Venice!!! Our host was kind and beyond generous, carrying our bags up the stairs and keeping our luggage safe while we went hiking. Don’t be deterred by the reviews - our room was spotless, there were no mosquitoes, and the shared bathroom was clearly cleaned multiple times a day. The air conditioning was KEY in this hot weather, and our room felt like an oasis whenever we came back! We felt safe and cared for, and our host went above and beyond. Incredible value and so close to the train/bus station! The neighborhood was quiet and shady, but easily walkable to tourist attractions. What an awesome stay!

No breakfast included, but it wasn’t necessary! You could make a coffee in the kitchen & sit in the beautiful back courtyard :)

The location is great. Short easy walk from Piazza Roma or from train station - so not too difficult with suitcases. We made use of 48 hr travel cards. It is an easy walk to the water taxi stops. Easy line 3 for Murano, Burano outing. Shared bathroom was good. There is a good little supermarket nearby and one has the use of a kitchen (fridge, kettle, seating area) so possible to do some food prep. They kindly allowed us to keep our luggage there after check out time.

The kitchen is sparsely supplied. One can ask for a few more items. I had some of my own bowls etc that I used. So it is not a fancy, modern place but if you are looking for a convenient, nice enough spot to explore Venice from, then this is a good option. Manager was kind

The Bangladesh receptionist is nice and kind... Because she allowed us to check in early... I sleep well on the bed the room is quite big for 2 people,the toilet bowl and bathroom is clean and it's comfortable to take shower

The kitchen is a little bit old style,but somehow we can cook...

It was in a quiet place and in front of the building was a restaurant.

It is not that I did not like it, is just the share bathroom on the corridor that was a bit for me. In rest everything was fine. Worth the money I paid. The receptionist was really friendly.

Everything is as on the photos, clean, close to the station, the staff is polite.

The only disadvantage is that the toilet and shower room are in the same room and this is for three hotel rooms with 3-4 people. Probably to whom as lucky, but if each of the rooms decides to take a shower and dry hair, then you can long wait for your turn to the toilet

Really enjoyed staying there,the host met us and explained everything.The best thing about this place is the atmosphere of the interior and the urban itself.It was quite clean and near to vaporetto station,from where you can get to city center.Have a nice holiday!

It's a room in apartment, but with hotel services including daily cleaning. Room has heating, shutters, washstand, extra blankets, old-style but comfortable wooden furniture. 3 vaporetto stops are very close to apartment. There is a Conad shop just in a minute walk. Staff is nice and helpful. They even informed us about the weather forecast.
