The hotel had been recently refurbished, in fact I think we might have been the first people to stay in the room. We were upgraded on arrival to a superior room which was a lovely surprise. Spacious room, good view of the grand canal from the front of the hotel, large comfy bed and an excellent bathroom with walk in shower. The staff at sister hotel Ca Nigra resort (over the square) are lovely and couldn’t do enough for us, even making dinner reservations for us at a restaurant we wanted to visit.

We had a little bit of trouble getting the new key cards to work for our room, but any new hotel will have teething problems and the staff were very apologetic and lovely about the whole thing.

The property is newly refurbished and the superior double room looking out on to the square and the grand canal was beautiful. Highly recommended! The staff at the reception (which is in the Ca Nigra resort across the square) were very kind and helpful.

No glasses in the room, had to go to reception for these, but minor issue, room was excellent overall.

It is a charming little hotel, we quite liked our room. The bathroom was a good size. It feels older which was nice for getting into the spirit of things. There is a great roof top deck with views of the grand canal and the roofs of Venice. Very easy to get to from the train station (although we took a water bus due to not wanting to deal with the stairs for the big bridge stairs across the grand canal due to our heavy luggage, you could also hire a porter to help). There is a hotel Ca'Nigra where you check in which is nice as well.

It would be nice if there was reception in the hotel. The internet was very poor.

We arrived by water taxi at the Ca' Negra, the adjoining 4* sister hotel with grdens on the Grand Canal - we were thrilled to discover that we were able to use these facilities and that the hospitality was in the Ca' Negra. We enjoyed drinks by the Grand Canal and breakfast. The staff were extremely charming and helpful. Close to main transport hubs, but also you were straight in the back streets with the cafes and restaurants. Slightly off the main tourist track

rooms were very small - but that's what we paid for! Other than that it's really hard to fault the Ai Due Fanali.

Great location close to the train station. Clean room and friendly staff that walked us to the room upon arrival at the front desk of the hotel. I do not recommend sleeping with the window open because of mosquitoes in Venice. The mosquitoes are not the fault of the hotel so I am not mentioning it as a negative because they are a due to being in a location surrounded by water. I just want to make sure others don’t make the mistake we made the first night.

hotel is essentially rooms only, with all other facilities in the parent hotel opposite. Rooftop bar was closed. The staff at the parent hotel were excellent and helpful

We were told that the Ai Due Finali was under renovation as we arrived to check in, so instead we got a room from the sister hotel close by. The room was lovely and the staff was super nice! I would absolutely stay again!

Great selection of food in a small buffet which you could eat outside in a beautiful garden overlooking the water or indoors in an air conditioned room that had a partial glass roof

Location is great, just 5 mins walk from Train station. However, its around 20 mins by walk to the Basilica and most of the attractions, but we didn't mind as walking the streets of Venice was a treat :D Bathroom was small but well kept.

Room was quite small. Bed was comfortable but pillows were very flat.. Hairdryer was useless as it was very weak.

The hotel is well located close to santa lucia train station and also to a vaporetto station. The reception staff was very helpful. When we booked this room we knew it was small, however all the facilities were available (minibar, airconditioning, bathroom equipped with all essential and a hair dryer) even a view of the grand canal which was great. The wifi was also great. Absolutely great value for money.

Nothing that really bothered me. But there was a slight smell in the room, i think from the aircondition. The walls of the room are thin so you can hear adjacent rooms.
