It was really well situated for travelling to and from Venice, and was in a nice quiet area away from crowds but within easy walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The room was clean bright and airy and very comfortable. I don’t like invasive service or fuss, so this was a great choice for me and my daughter, easy check in and out and useful luggage storage too as we had an evening flight.

We knew about the stairs from previous reviews and they are steep and quite challenging. But, Venice is full of beautiful old buildings which clearly were not constructed with a view to installing lifts. If anyone has accessibility issues, or you have really heavy luggage, then maybe this is not for them but we managed ok. To be fair there are so many bridges in Venice heavy luggage will always be a problem no matter what you do.

Very close to the bus and train station... very easy to find it with GPS on Google maps..we arrived few hours earlier and they let us leave our suitcases inside, and we were able to check in a bit earlier! Very helpful and kind personel,we stayed in the top floor room, it was spacious and clean,with everyday cleaning.you can use the coffee machine or fix a tea in the kitchen Very easy and it's a good way to start the day. you have absolute privacy! Very quiet area, and you can go in all the main attractions pretty quick! There's a super market pretty close! The bed was perfect (specially for the back problem that I have), and you got two pillows. Warm water all the time!!! And it was always more than enough for us two!!! If I ever go back to Venice I will totally go there again!!!! Book it with no second thoughts!!!

The room was only about an 8-minute walk from the train station so very convenient to walk to! Though there was a bar downstairs, the window was so soundproof, we couldn’t hear anything! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

You do have to walk up a couple of flights in a very narrow staircase. The walk didn’t bother us but it might bother some. The staircase is really narrow so it was hard to get through the door with two carry on luggages. The room is on the smaller side so if you have big luggages, it might feel even more cramped.

The area is quiet, and any noise that did happen outside was blocked off by the windows and traditional shutters. The room and en suite were clean and modern, and the communal area was also well kept. It was nice to have the complimentary coffee pods for the morning too. We did not meet the owners, but clear instructions were left for us and communication was very good.

Our double bed was two twin beds pushed together which got a bit uncomfy, but otherwise there were no problems!!

Great location so close to train station and vaporetto stop, and also felt 'off the beaten track'. Very sound proof windows (surprising how quiet it was given that there was a music venue with people on the street very close to apartment). Apartment was very clean, shower was great, bed was comfortable, and appreciated having small fridge in room, even though there was a handy shared kitchen area with coffee maker and tasty cookies. great little bar with friendly staff, tasty cicchetti, and spritz called Cip and Ciop about a minute walk away

Had some problem contacting host, not sure if it was related to booking.com website or host email, but could not contact prior to arriving to confirm that room was available (most places we stayed charged us upfront so we knew they knew we were coming, but this host did not charge until we got there). Caused fair bit of concern the day we arrived as we were not sure that we would be able to get in and the rain was torrential. However, we did get buzzed into the room when we arrived, and when we did meet up with host later that evening, she was very helpful.

I was asked for my passport and to pay by two peeps, even thought I had already paid. No big deal but not ideal.

Great location, ideal place for a stay in Venice. All fine in the room. Wi-Fi is truly wonderful (fibre speed, if you need it for work, is wonderful). No real breakfast, but a working Nespresso machine and some biscuits really make the difference.

The beds are too much on the springy/soft side. Too many pillows in the room. Once you've removed them from the bed, you don't know where to put your things… Very steep stairs to reach the room, not a problem for me but could be for other people. Some noise outside until 23, but after is very silent. it's expensive, but in Venice every accommodation is. That's a common issue.

Conveniently located within a 10 minute walk of the train and bus stations, this room is, happily, a few streets removed from heavy tourist traffic. Small shops and restaurants are just steps away. And no matter which way you turn, Venice's enchanting alleys and canal vistas await your exploration.

As in all of Europe's ancient cities, plan to travel light in anticipation of many steps inside and outside of lodging. Npot a negative, but a part of the experience.

Great location in Venice - just a short walk from the train station. Easy access around Venice and a comfortable room and bathroom.

Noting , you’re walking in Venice - that involves crossing bridges etc. there are STEEP steps - as noted, but just be weary Staff weren’t very communicative for check in or out but the properly was comfortable.

The hosts were fantastic - from check in to check out. We arrived after 8pm due to trains and the hosts were ready and waiting for us. The room was clean and made up the next day also. To top it all off, we had a big day booked/planned on check out day and the hosts allowed us to keep our bags at reception the entire day after check out, which was amazing. Location was nearby to the water bus which I highly recommend getting a pass for, as it made travelling around easy (especially with kids)
