The location was so close to the Santa Lucia station which was perfect! The check-in was simple and we were able to access everything easily on our own. We were only a 30 minute walk from Piazza di San Marco and some other nice sites! The breakfast area outside was beautiful and the morning was so pleasant. The streets are not noisy and we were not disturbed even though we were by the street! This place was amazing for the price and location!

We shared a bathroom with the other guests, but this wasn't a huge inconvenience. The only complaint I might have is that the walls are so thin and the hallways are echoey, so it is easy to hear other guests. Our sleep was not disturbed by this though, it was only slightly noticeable.

Beds firm and pillows fluffy. Bathroom and room both clean. Shower was good with wide range of temps. The room was warm but the air conditioner did make the room cooler and more comfortable. Valter is very accommodating and kind.

We've stayed in 4 bnb since arriving in italy a week ago. All have been warm when we arrived and only cooled slightly. This bnb did cool more than the others but we are Americans and very used to cold air conditioning.

Great location. Super quickly reachable by bus from the airport. Also close to boat stops, which made it easy to travel to other islands. We had a cute simple breakfast every morning in an amazing terrace which was great. And the staff were amazing! I also really liked the early check in hours.

For some might be a bit too far: (ca 25min) of walk from San Marco square. For us though was not a problem, as we like walking a lot.

Good location, close to boat stop, train/bus station, walkable distance from everything pretty much. Near by: coffees, restaurants, market shop, historical and cultural monuments. The room was big enough, the air conditioner, although old looking, was amazing and kept us cool. Small sofa, big mirror, wardrobe, night stands, electricity plugs each side of the bed, everything you need pretty much. The room was cleaned daily and it was indeed clean. The garden, where we were having our breakfast was really adorable. The breakfast itself was also nice, good coffee and croissant + toast.

Not a big thing, but the bathroom was a bit small. The hairdryer was old and if I had to use it it would have taken me hours. There was no shower gel, just this tester pouches, enough for a single wash and we had only 4 for 4 nights, 2 people. But overall this is a good place to stay

The location was excellent, being very near the Grand Canal. Only comment we’d make is that it was very difficult to find when we arrived. Google maps couldn’t find it so we had to ask people for help. Luckily one couple with time to spare were happy to walk around with us using their own phone navigation and eventually found the property, though not without much the same difficulties that we experienced. Perhaps very detailed information from the owners of how to get to Cassa Mimma from the bus/train stations would be very helpful.

Lots of tiny insects in the room which were always present. Perhaps a mesh screen attached to the outside wall of the property on each window might be more effective than the screen on the window itself?

Casa Mimma is located very near 500 metre to Venice Santa Lucia Station. Grand canal to be crossed only once. Mr Walter is a nice host and provided all possible help to make our stay comfortable. Attractions like San Marco , etc are all doable by walking from this place. For vaporetto, water bus I recommend using route 5.1 from P. Roma to San Marco Zaccaria and then San Marco Giardineti to Ferrovia by Route 2. Thanks Ciao

The location is amazing! On a quiet street but still close to all attractions. The owner was so sweet and we got breakfast outside on the terrace which was cute. He was really accommodating to all of our needs and he made the stay much better!

The noise from the street could be a little loud, but it’s no fault of the property; people were being loud. Ear plugs were an easy fix.

Very easy to get to from the train station and close to a vaporetto stop. Clear and easy check-in. There was an error in a charge the owner took responsibility to fix it. A.C was so great as it was hot! Coffee in the morning was perfect. We are a family of 4 and we fit into one little room which is what we expected for staying in an ancient city.

We were completely satisfied with the hotel, as we had to leave due to an emergency at our house. Despite the booking being non-refundable, they kindly offered to waive the third night and refunded us the money. furthermore, the room was large and the cleaning was very well.

The room was spacious and had a sink and safe, which was great! We expected the shared bathroom to be worse, but it was clean and we were able to use it whenever we needed. The breakfast was good with drinks and different bread items. The staff was very kind and friendly as well.

We wish that there was a fridge in the room and that the wifi was faster (it was really slow), but overall nothing that was a big deal. We were overall very happy with our stay and it exceeded expectations.
