Do not book this hotel with Booking.com !!! They charge much more than booking directly with the hotel. I paid €626.40 for Two nights (1 adult and 2 children). But the hotel offers €220 /night for the exact same room. All included breakfast.

The hotel is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood — perfect for a morning walk when the streets are still calm. It’s within walking distance to the train and bus stations, and easily accessible to all districts depending on your preferences. It’s also just a two-minute walk to the Vaporetto station, so everything is very conveniently located. The beds and pillows were absolutely amazing — so comfortable! We actually liked the room even more than we expected from the photos. The breakfast was simple but nice, and I must highlight that the coffee was excellent! The staff were friendly and professional. We really enjoyed our stay and truly liked the hotel.

Organization of breakfast can be much better, service of breakfast was bad - long waiting time for adding of missing food.

The hotel was small, quiet and in a great location. It was near excellent restaurants and bars and close to the train and bus station. The hotel was attractive and clean. The bedroom and bathroom, were a good size and cleaned daily. The staff were all pleasant, friendly and helpful. They were willing to answer questions about the area and transport.

The bar area could be more welcoming. The breakfast room was small, but the breakfast was adequate. Also, the unused towels don’t need to be changed every day.

Good location for us, a twenty minute walk to St Marks Square suited us nicely. Cleaners are thorough, cleaned our room every day.

The walk from the train station (with luggage) is more than the ten minutes suggested by Bookings.com, I would recommend the Vaporetto to San Stae or water taxi the the end of the street that the motel is on. Something most people underestimate about Venice (Venezia) is how complicated the streets are, this IS a REAL issue for first time visitor

The rooms are nice, very comfortable and with details for romantiic souls. A basic but good breakfast.

We were 3 people so with extra bed in the room, which left us with almost no space to open the luggage. The locatiion is a bit distant and hard to find, but once you know, it's at walking distance from most things in Venice. The service is OK and correct, but the hotel itself does not feel 'warm'. But remember, the rooms are decorated romanticly, so depends on yourself what you make of it, after all, your in Venice !!

The decor in our room (one of the red ones) was great… a really decadent feel! Location was good, within a few minutes walk of the water boat line in San Stae, and an easy walk to several local osterias. About a 15 minute walk to the Rialto Bridge, and a further 8 minutes to San Marco. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was small, but had everything we needed, and the water pressure was great. Small fridge in the room with water, was much appreciated! Air conditioning worked brilliantly.

The bed was a bit hard, would benefit from a topper. You couldn’t close the curtains to block daylight without covering the air conditioning unit.

The hotel is located in a wonderfully quiet spot - very few tourists at all, and mostly locals, so it was relaxing and felt like an authentic Venetian experience. Yet a very short walk to cafes, restaurants, the Natural History Museum, a classic gondola spot, and only an 8 minute walk to great people watching at the Trattoria San Polo. My teenage daughter and I loved it! It was easy to reach via boat from the airport - being located about 200 m from the canal. It was spotless, the staff were friendly and informative, and our room was well appointed. It was also a lovely quiet space, so we could rest well. The air conditioning was particularly welcomed! We'd happily stay there again.

I felt the room was a little small, but it was very comfortable and the mattress was good quality. While the coffee at breakfast was superb, we felt the choice of food was a little bit spartan. But that wasn't a particular problem as we were so happy with everything else.

Amazing location, close to the train station but not too much tourist traffic. Most of the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very comfy, clean, and quiet. Would stay at again.

Asked for some coffee at 7:30am and was sternly told I’m only allowed to have coffee during breakfast hours starting at 8:00am. Coffee at 7:30 in the morning shouldn’t be too much to ask for.

We had an amazing stay at Al Duca di Venezia. The large triple room was stunning, we felt immersed right into the glorious lush Venetian history. The temperature in the room was just right, the marble bathroom exquisite and well appointed, everything was cozy and comfortable and felt authentic. The hotel is in a quiet area, only15 minutes walk from Piazzale Roma and 10 from the Santa Lucia Train Station, which was great, as it saved a lot of money in vaporetto fees, and also conveniently close to tourist sites such as Rialto and San Marco. We also enjoyed the neighborhood quite a lot, with good and affordable restaurants and sites to visit in close proximity such as Ca Pesaro and Mocenigo Palace Museum. Last but not least, I can not speak highly enough of the staff, everybody was so nice, welcoming and ready to help! We hope to be back soon.
