This renovated former church is situated on a beautiful, peaceful piece of property and vineyard, tucked away about 5 minutes from a small town. The host was kind, helpful and accommodating. The breakfasts were tasty and ample. The room was large and nicely decorated in a ‘moody, modern Italian farmhouse’ aesthetic. It is set in a rural, out-of-the-way location about 30 minutes from both Bologna and Ravenna. It was a wonderful place to stay and the photos do not do it justice!

A warm welcome awaited us when we arrived at 1pm and as our room was ready we were able to go up to our room that was big and lovely! Although we didn't need to, when a couple arrived at 10am, the staff were happy to keep the luggage whilst they went to explore. When we checked out, they kept our bags for us until it was time for us to leave. Breakfast was great and you can just keep asking for lovely coffees! The location was great, everywhere in Venice is just 15-20 mins walk away. The stop (Stan Stae) on the water bus from the airport is only 6mins walk away!

I liked everithing One might consider it does not provide best location as is not quite central (15;minutes walking to San Marco) but that was not a problem to me as I took the advamtage of a quiet area far away of the anoying noice of troleys

The first positive sign was the warm welcome by the staff who were extremely polite and helpful. The owner who turned up in the morning, was very charming and informative. Ca' San Giorgio is centrally located yet far from crowds, hence, quiet and relaxing. It has a classic theme all over the establishment. The room that we had was undeniably clean, tastefully furnished, spacious and so were the toilet and bath. We even had a cute balcony. The breakfast was delightful, healthy and great coffee! Truly a 10 /10 and will recommend to anyone. We'll surely be back!

Not certainly a big thing but for the sake of my companion who has knee issue- no lift.

We liked everything about Ca San Giorgio. Perfect location, easy to find, close to everything ,few minutes from two vaporetto stops, but also very quiet. Our room was comfortable, warm, spotless clean and spacious. The breakfast was simple but very good and all the staff was lovely. We have been many times in Venice but this was our first stay at Ca San Giorgio, and loved it . Also a good value for money considering that Venice was full for the New Years Eve. We will return for sure.

If you value peace and tranquility this home from home is ideal. Situated 20 metres from the edge of the Grand Canal at the end of a quiet street this 14th century unassuming looking building hides a very pleasant surprise within. Although this home is in a quiet street, you are only a couple of minutes easy walk from shops, bars, and dining out establishments. Our hosts were polite and friendly, and actually made you feel welcome within their home. The lovely ladies who run this little piece of heaven were also very knowledgeable about places to visit and how to get to them. A lovely continental breakfast is provided each morning.

Great boutique hotel where it felt that the staff actually cared about its guests. They always had a smile on their faces and were eager to help. Really felt taken care of. Great hotel ! Breakfast was also tasty.

The location is a 25 minute walk from San Marco square. This isn't hidden information, and you actually get a lot of peace by being far from the busiest parts, but beware - it is quite a walk for us American folks.

Location was superb and a lovely example of a beautiful venice accomodation, staff were extremely friendly and rooms were cleaned daily. The staff even went the extra mile to prepare the room with birthday decorations as i requested which was amazing. Also breakfast included in price is a big plus - basic but just what you need to start off the day before travelling and exploring Venice.

No air conditioning which was a little bit annoying as the rooms are very hot (even in March time). Bed sheets/duvet aren’t the best as not really a proper duvet but sheets covering a duvet so easily messed up and not as comfy.

I loved all of the bright gold accents! I loved the room and the best B&B breakfasts ever! The place is immaculate and friendly. It is right near a canal and easy enough to get to the train station and ferries.

It is fairly far from the St. Marks Square, about a 20-25 minute walk. Navigating definitely takes Google Maps help but that is true anywhere.

A very nice style to the building, fresh breakfast served for free, and staff that were cheerful, helpful and more than willing to chat and give recommendations. Stayed one night in a layover in Venice, and it was amazing. Short walk to pretty much everything, not far from a water taxi stop from the airport. Google maps gets it wrong sometimes though. The room was beautiful, though I would recommend those on the taller side get a lower room. My friend hit his head on the slanted roof one time when getting up off the couch. On my end quite funny, on his apparently painful. But no drama for me at 5'5.

Nothing. It was great and I will go back! Only warning is the steep stairs and no elevator. Pack light if you're coming here, cause you'll have to carry it all up and down again!
