Great location and the staff were awesome.

Slanted roof in the bathroom. I am 6’2 and could not stand up straight. More of an inconvenience but if we were staying longer I would have had to ask for a different room.

The hotel is beautifully renovated and really clean and tidy. The location was excellent, walking distance to the train station and airport bus. The Vaporetto (water borne) station is close by, so it was easy to get around the city. The hotel is perfect for a traveler looking for a clean and quiet hotel. The staff was really friendly and we received excellent service. Extra points of restaurant / cafeteria /bakery recommendations we got! The room was not large, but just nice and compact for two people. Everything worked perfectly and me and my travel partner honestly enjoyed staying in this hotel. There were good cafes and restaurants nearby and a memorable place to visit was the grocery store in the old theater. The Cannareggio area (the area where the hotel is located) is also beautiful and worth exploring.

I stayed there with my fiance (one room) and 2 other friends (another room): 1. The staff is amazing - lady at the reception was not only professional, patient and polite but also extremely helpful and kind which made our stay excellent. Any question we got - she answered in the most logical and clearest way it is humanly possible :) 2. Another thing - breakfasts. We loved it! It was served between 7:30-10:15 (perfect time!) and everything was fresh, tables were super clean and the staff was so polite that we barely noticed them which made our breakfests felt more private! 3. Location - we were amazed how perfect it was! It took us literally 15 min to get there from the bus station, we were super close to the water bus station as well so it was ridiculously easy to navigate throughout the city and not only! 4. And the last one - the hotel itself :D we were actually surprised by the quality and modern approach. I saw photos online but I always take it as a loose reference. Not this time! Yes, room was small but it was CLEAN, bed was AMAZING (I am literally planning to buy one of those pillows LOL!), the AC was working properly, bathroom looked like it was recently renovated and the whole room was cleaned daily (fresh towels included!!!). The only thing that might be relatively cheap improvement idea is to add some kind of door seal to some doors (in out room there was a minimal loose space between closed door and the doors frame, but my friends had a room with perfectly sealed doors!) Anyways, if I am back in Venice - I AM STAYING HERE! 🥰

The location is only a short walk from the Santa Lucia Station so it is super easy for guests to reach. The area is a lively part of Venice that can take you to the Rialto Bridge in less than 10 minutes. Our check-in was handled with speed and ease as soon as we arrived at the property. When we arrived at the room, after a speedy check-in we were met with a cosy and clean room that had everything that we needed. Then, once we were ready to explore Venice, we were provided with a map of the city and recommendations of landmarks to visit, as well as how to access and use the aqua buses to navigate the city. Our room was cleaned with the provision of fresh linens and clean towels each day during our stay.

We had no grievances or dislikes about our stay.

We chose the Cannaregio neighbourhood after some recommendations from friends who had been the previous year and so glad we did. We went with this small family run hotel due to its reviews and location and it didn't disappoint. The main reception is at the sister hotel across the cobblestone street, this isn't an issue, just handy to know upon arrival.;) It was a fairly small room, though this is typical of Venice but beautifully fitted out and very comfortable. We were on the top floor and had a sloping ceiling in the bathroom which my 6'2 husband sometimes connected with. We had a gorgeous sunrise view across the roof tops of Venice out of window! Breakfast wasn't included which we didn't mind as it gave us the opportunity to find our 'local' for coffee and pastries... Yum! There were quite a few stairs to our room, once again it feels a part of the whole Italian experience!

Staff was amazing since the minute we got there. They were very attentive at all times and flexible with any request we had, they also kept our luggage after check out since our flight was until 8:00pm. Really liked the location since it was near the train station, and also near a stop for the water taxi to the airport. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby with very good prices compared to the ones closer to Piazza San Marco.

There’s no elevator which could be an issue for some people, wasn’t an issue for us.

The room was big, well appointed with comfortable beds and bathroom.

To be told there was no heating was a rude shock. We came from an Australian summer of 35 degrees to overnight temps of 3 degrees it was rather cold. They offered us extra blankets but when asked for a heater was told, no they are too dangerous and the air conditioner was changed from heating to cooling only. The monster staircase is not to be underestimated, lucky the lovely reception lady managed to haul our suitcase the first day. Coming down was exciting!!!!

Great location about a 10 minute walk from the train & bus station. Furthermore, the staff was absolutely amazing! Very friendly, helpful & proactive which has made our stay more than perfect. Room was great as well. Quiet and clean, modern & comfortable beds. Breakfast is great & tasty as well. 100% recommended!

Reception is on the other side of the street in the Academia hotel. Signs would be helpful.

Grew This hotel is excellent! Really well finished, modern and clean but with lots of nice traditional features. The beds were super comfy, openable windows for fresh air, bathroom was a great size and shower was good! Can’t complain and would definitely recommend for a short stay for couples looking to be in a good spot but not too close to central Venice!

Air conditioning was tricky to work, however we didn’t need it for our visit in February! Some more coffee sachets would’ve been great too!
