The location is so close to train and bus station. Cleaning was done every day. The room was very clean. The communication of the hotel was excellent! Before our arrival and during our stay, their communication via WhatsApp was great. The insulation of the window was very good, it blocked the noise of the square.

Our room was so small. We booked this hotel because we saw the room larger in the photos. The bed took up the whole room. The toilet in the bathroom was very narrow. We were disappointed in this regard. I think the room in the photos was the largest room with the square view. A bit far from the center. It can be walked, but we bought vaporetto tickets so as not to get tired. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge. There was no duvet, the sheet was wrapped in the bedspread and blanket together. The sheet kept slipping while sleeping and I don't think it was very sterile. It would have been better if there was a duvet and a duvet cover was put on it.

Super hotel, the rooms are very clean, freshly renovated. The bathroom has modern plumbing, which is very rare for Venice! The room was cleaned every day! There was a table and chair for working on a laptop and very good internet! Friendly staff gave me a lot of good recommendations of restaurants around. Very comfortable location, close to the train and bus stations and to the Jewish quarter. You can explore the whole city by foot. A lot of good restaurants and pastries nearby.

The only thing is that my window overlooked another house a meter away from me and the room was dark, but this is not a big problem, and I’ve seen it on the picture of the room on booking.

Pretty much everything was perfect. All the staff were nice, smiling, helpful and happy to give us tips about the good places to have breakfast, where to get passes for the vaporettos ( water buses), etc. Staff there had actually been very helpful even before we arrived to Venice by telling us how to get an exemption for the tourists tax that Venice applies during a certain number of days between May and June and everything was sorted before we arrived. The hotel itself and our bedroom and bathroom were super clean The location is simply fantastic. Less than 15 min walk away from the train and bus stations. A 10 min walk takes you straight to the different lines for the vaporettos. From the hotel, San Marco square is less than 30 min walk. The hotel was quiet in a good way.

Nothing we didn’t like. The room was a bit small but if you’re there to visit then it’s more of hab adequate. No breakfast served but the Lista is 2 min walk away from he hotel and the very good collazione they serve will put a smile on anyone’s face.

Staff were friendly. Room was clean. Location was fantastic, especiallyfor transport. Easy to find. We had bathroom across the hall, it worked well for us. We look for clean rooms, and a good night's sleep as a base. WiFi free

Could be very noisy, we were lucky it was quiet but had an example when our neighbour was there and could hear a lot of noise. Echoy due to so many hard surfaces. Needs tlc shower door kept falling off, light fittings lose. Hangers only had one screw not two in the bathroom, so the hanger for clothes moved. Wardrobe door creaked badly (wd40 would solve) if I had neighbours they'd not like me lol. Just little things would help ratings. I would go again even with these things.

The location was great for us, although its still a long distance (~30’ on foot) to the main square, it was surrounded by good not very pricey restaurants (~5/7’) and it was close to the train station! And not very far from a boat station

It’s an old building and I guess we weren’t lucky with the American guests… They were very loud at 3 - 5 am. Arriving or leaving the hotel, talking and running on the stairs, etc. Made it very hard to sleep If I would to change anything would better isolation and also some warnings for the guests to be respectful with each other and not run or scream in the stairs

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. Close to the bus/train stations and easy to navigate to and from. The room was basic, but we knew this, and It was just as we expected from the pictures, clean with a comfy bed, (just needed to ask for extra pillows) and you can't fault the location, so I'd recommend a stay here. Just make sure you pack ear plugs!

The only downside is that the walls are paper thin and not soundproof at all, and the sound seems to travel around the stairs so you can hear everyone coming and going. It seemed like the couple next door were in our room they were so loud.

We booked at the last minute as there was a train strike so we decided to stop in Venice for an extra day. Fair priced, this is a small budget hotel located within walking distance of the main train station. The room was very small but it was clean and absolutely fine for 1 night stay, it had also a beautiful view on the square. There are various restaurant around, although they are not great but the lovely lady at the reception gave us some excellent advice on where to eat.

It was a bit noisy, our room was located near the main stair and other guests were inconsiderate, making noise at 1am when coming back to the hotel.

Location of hotel is perfect, close to the train station, close to the vaporetto, many restaurants to choose from in the area, walking the streets around the hotel was fabulous. You can walk to Rialto bridge and to St. Mark's Square but vaporetto is very handy too. We got the water taxi from the airport and the hotel was very close to our stop. Hotel staff are warm and welcoming. Our room was ready early for us which was much appreciated. The room was clean and comfy.

Location is great! Close to the railway station, 5-7 min walking. The staff was very nice and helpful, gave us consultation about taxi, buses, ect. Cleaning service works. There is a kitchen on thefirst floor where you can find a dining zone with fridge, microwave, tables, chairs + luggage storage. When in evening the reception closes you can use a backdoor to get in and get out. The room and the bathroom have everything that's necessary, the bed is big (takes almost all the space), the table, the wardrobe.

No fridge in the room, no elevator. The bathroom is tiny but it's private (comparing to many other options where the bathroom is shared).

I had a fantastic experience at Hotel San Geremia in Venice. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the main attractions.
