Room has all necessary amenities like a tea set, bathroom with everything you need. Rooms are on a smaller side, but it fit us with no problem. Staff is quite friendly and accommodating to requests. Quiet location away from tourist crowds, but at the same time, within walking distance to Train station and San Marco (20 mins).

There was "moisty-fishy" smell on a narrow street toward the hotel, perhaps, since it is located close Fish-market. Smell is not overwhelming, but could be a consideration.

It was great that its location was in the city center, or rather within walking distance to everything. Being close to restaurants and cafes, as well as just about a minute away from the Guglie water bus stop, was quite attractive. Access from the airport to the hotel was also very easy. The rooms were spacious enough, and the cleaning was adequate. I was happy that we chose breakfast, as it offered a good variety. For a boutique hotel, the amenities were quite satisfactory. At the same time, a bottle of Prosecco awaits you in your room upon arrival.

The only downside is that you can hear the footsteps and voices of the people staying above you.

I had such a fantastic stay here. Prior to my stay, the staff were patient and friend so help me with any queries I had and during my stay, they were incredibly accommodating. Location is great, about 8 mins walk away from Santa Lucia station. I didn't have breakfast here but it looked good; Samantha was kind enough to offer me some cappuccino during my early check in. The room was lovely and exceeded my expectations. Clean, spacious and characterful. I especially loved that they had original features like exposed wooden beans and Venetian shutters. I would absolutely stay here again- huge thanks to all the staff!

Only a minor compliant- the room was a little cold so I wonder if the system wasn't working to its full ability?

We thought that this was the perfect place to stay in Venice. You can easily catch a ferry from the airport to a canal stop almost in front of their entrance. Be aware, like all places in Venice, it can be easy to walk passed the entrance, which basically looks like a tunnel. Ca Pozzo has a welcoming courtyard where you can sit, relax and also enjoy breakfast (excellent buffet). The rooms are modern and comfortable inside. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It is close to many restaurants and shops, and points of interest are within 1/2 hour walk. we did the self guided Ghetto tour from Ca Pozzo, which was interesting, but also peaceful compared to the busy main thoroughfares. We left by train, and the station was only 15 minutes walk. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Location is very convenient for the train station - only one bridge to cross with wheeled bags! The entrance is somewhat underwhelming through a passage (well lit at night). Rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. Staff very helpful and welcoming

Unfortunately being Venice, accomodation doesnt feel great value for money, EUR 250 a night is a not a bargain option for an average size room. Breakfast options could be greater, more fruit options in particular would be good

We were given a warm welcome. Our room was really nice and clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good with a vast selection of food to suit everyone. The freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. The waitress was very helpful and was nice and friendly. Bathroom shower was very good. the bed was really comfy. it was very quiet during the night, We were very happy with our stay.

We noticed other reviews mention the smell of fish in the alleyway that leads to the hotel was not very pleasant, however this does not affect the hotel at all and as there is a daily fish market by the canal it is to be expected.

Very well located for the train station. The room was nice, modern and well equipped, the exception being no tea/coffee making facility which in the UK is standard. There was complimentary water and a small fridge and safe. Complimentary toiletries. A couple of the Eu Italian sockets and one USB socket available. Breakfast was very good for a continental. Even some scrambled eggs and some type of bacon. All staff we met were very courteous and helpful. Allowed us to leave our luggage after we checked out and to collect later in the day. One tip from the staff was that if we intended to use a water bus at least three times in a day it was cost effective to by a one day (24 hour ) pass. I think we used it for four trips and that included a full circular external route around Venice. You have to get off at Lido to change but it's worth a walk around there and have a coffee. The Vaporetto Water Bus Line 5.1 goes around Venice anticlockwise, and the 5.2 is clockwise. Depending on tides the 5.1 can be quicker. around 1 hour 20 mins. The waiting platform is located very near the hotel at GUGLIE. https://www.venezia-help.com/en/transports/venice-vaporetto-line-5_1-actv/ The Grand Canal route to San Marco Square you may want to do etc would be the B2 route and you can pick this up near the train station. ( B1 return ) Ferrovia platform. ( I may have got B1, B2 the wrong way but always someone around to ask. )

No views from our room but that was probably expected knowing it's location. One small issue with one side of the shower door screen not operating correctly. Needed to be lifted off it rail to slide open and shut which was also noisy.

It was near the train station, it was clean, very nice place, cheap compared to other places in Venice. The staff was so nice, always there to help. They let us to check in early( one hour earlier). They kept our luggage last day untill 6 pm. All good, really nice place.

One thing was a little bit uncomfortable, the alley that get us there, it was kinda small, and smelly especially when the fish market was open, but that is how a lot of streets are in Venice. And i know for sure that it is nothing they can do about it. Even though this was not so nice, all the other advantage made me rate this place to a 10+

Everything; the staff was more than nice with us; they recommended many things for us from activities to where and when to take the boat for the airport, room was amazing, it was verry clean. The hotel is well located, breakfast was amazing, probably the best service we ever had in a hotel anywhere in the world!!!

Nothing, everything was perfect

The location is perfect, it closes to all the facilities you might need to access. We love the area is not too busy so the end of the day we can enjoy a small walk around the hotel. The best thing of the hotel is the AC on all the time, so you can cool down immediately when you enter the room which really saves our lives. (Venice is boiling during our stay…)
