We had a wonderful holiday at this hotel. It's a 5-minute walk from the Piazza Roma (Venice central bus station), and even closer to the train station. The Vaporetto stops are also just a 2-minute walk away. The street is always lively, and there's a market on the same street. You can reach St. Mark’s Square in about 30 minutes either on foot or by Vaporetto. The hotel rooms have been renovated; they were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was quite good — there was yogurt, fruit, and everything you might need. The only downside was the lack of a minibar. It wasn’t an issue in April, but it might be in the summer. There’s no hairdryer in the rooms, but they provide one immediately upon request.

Single female in her 20s here. I felt safe in this hotel, especially because the location gives u access to all the islands without having to lug ur items thru uneven paths, stairs, and narrow pathways. The walk to the train was safe and 8 minutes (i had to catch a 6am train). I didn’t have the breakfast but the dining area looked decently sized. I was in a single room. They even held my luggage before check in! The staff was nice and helpful. Room itself was clean, decently sized with a nice window access, and the bathroom was clean. I checked for bugs on the bed just in case, and it was very clean. The interior design of the rooms is nice.

Honestly nothing to say in this regard. Yes you can hear other people staying in the hotel because the floors feel thin; however, it wasnt that bad since ppl were respectful. Just use noise plugs. This isnt that serious since the price is fair.

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the train station and right outside the hotel you’ll find plenty of shops and restaurants. During our trip to Italy, we stayed at four different hotels, and by far the staff at Hotel Guerrini were the friendliest and most accommodating we’ve ever met. They were very flexible and kindly allowed us to leave our bags after we check-out, so we could explore while waiting for our train. We also appreciated their reasonably priced drinks - the best value we found in Venice.

There’s really nothing I didn’t ‘t like about the property - if anything, the only point is that it could use a bit of an update.

A delightful small family run hotel in a wonderful location. I was greeted with a warm smile from Giacomo who immediately carried my luggage up the two fights to my room after I checked in. The other gentleman Mauro was extremely helpful during my stay. He also offered directions and advice during my stay. My room was very clean, neat and furnished tastefully with classical furniture. Not a large room, but certainly had everything one would need on a two day stay. The Bed was really comfortable with two large pillows to sleep on. A small clean shower with enough towels. Breakfast Room was off of the reception area furnished with single tables. The breakfast was great, There was an assortment of rolls, bread, yogurt and hardboiled eggs. Oh, yes and some cakes too. A large coffee machine that could make whatever you preferred. The location was in a beautiful historic building and was close to the train station, but off a quiet ancient street. The best was when the reception told me that there is a water bus, that takes you directly to the Venice Airport and was a short distance away! It costs the same price 18 euro as the bus and is a beautiful stressless way to go. Thank you for the information. Thank you everyone for being so kind, helpful and professional. I certainly will come back.

I didn't like that I had to leave

This hotel was perfect for our (2 of us) 5 night Venice stay. It is situated in the very heart of the Cannaregio district but down a little alley which made it a quiet reprieve from the busy streets. The second and third floors have been newly remodeled and immaculately cleaned. Right behind the hotel (but accessed via another alley) is a public park with some swings for the kids and a little green space. There are plenty of excellent restaurants within a stone's throw and the staff was always kind and smiling. Our flight was canceled the morning of our departure which required another two days in Venice and they quickly accomodated us. The continental breakfast was delicious. We will definitely book there again should we ever get to visit Venice again.

Friendly staff and very informative. Before we started our Venice / Murano day trip the desk clerk explained directions for water taxis name and numbers as well as things to be aware of like pick pockets with their techniques to steal from you. Places to see and a map to refer to. Great staff. Another thing is the close location to both the train station and water taxis to get around.

Perhaps a little more breakfast menu. Local traditions are well worth protecting but most tourists have a full day planned around the city. All in all a great p[lace to stay.

We loved that while it was close to the train station it was also away from the crowds and very quiet. The bed was amazing, large and comfortable, especially for a back with issues. We were upgraded to a junior suite. It was all new, fresh, clean, and the bathroom was great. We had breakfast included. It was a cold breakfast with many options: cereals, cold meats and cheese, yoghurt, pastries, cold boiled eggs, fresh fruit and a coffee machine that gave us the best coffee we found. A wonderful visit! We'll be back.

There is nothing that we didn't like. It was excellent.

Staff were all really friendly, welcoming and helpful, especially for letting me know what to do incase we were late to check-in. The location is perfect, close to the train station at vaparetto stops at Ferrovia. As it is up a little side street it is nice and quiet. Our room was nice and clean and even had a balcony that we didn't expect. The plug-in mosquito repellent was a welcome touch, as during our previous stay elsewhere in Venice we ended up covered in bites. No such problem this time. Breakfast was really nice, good value for money and plenty of options for everyone

Could have maybe used more hangers in the wardrobe

Friendly, helpful Staff. Very close to Santa Lucia Railway Station, and a number of options for water taxi's. Many great eating choices nearby. We only had Breakfast on one morning of our 4-night stay - and were impressed with what was available. The online pics were accurate. We had booked a Double Room, which was not near or above Reception, but instead, in the building opposite. Stairs were difficult to navigate with luggage and especially with a dodgy knee. Room was smaller than anticipated (it didn't appear in the online pics). However, it was clean and neat. Very welcomed bottle of wine greeted us.

Mozzies in our room - not a fan as they LOVE ME! The Zapper provided didn't quite work - especially as I was bitten in the shower/bathroom most times! Flyscreens on windows would solve the problem. Unfortunately, I found they don't seem to be used much in Italy/Europe!

The location was great; easy walk from the train station and to the bus station. It was set back from the main "road" which was a nice reprieve from the commotion. The room was clean and the tiny "twin" beds were really comfortable.

Booking.com advertised that breakfast was included. The hotel told us we had not selected and paid for that option when we arrived. I'm not sure which entity is at fault, but I felt a bit ripped off by this.
