The staff was amazing. I arrived jetlagged and exhausted and the amazing woman at the reception desk (I am sooo sorry, I forgot her name!) realized that I was not due to check in until the next day! Luckily, she had one room remaining and she upgraded me to that room for a small fee for the duration of my stay. It was a lovely room overlooking the stairs and the canal. The staff are very helpful and really make this place special! The hotel location was super close to Guglie water taxi stop and across the canal from Jewish Ghetto area. It borders on a residential area which I loved as I was not interested in staying near the madness of Rialto or San Marco.

This was my first time staying in Venice so some of these challenges are not within the control of the property. If you are a light sleeper, you will hear the crowds and the water taxi horns, even with your windows closed and the AC turned on. This is a shame because the weather was perfect for sleeping with the windows open. I tried that the first night and couldn't do it. I am not sure if other rooms are affected, but there was some mechanical sound all night long underneath my room that also made it a bit difficult to fall/stay asleep. After a couple of nights, I got used to it. You will have to carry your luggage up @20 stairs, but that's clearly stated in the listing.

We needed a hotel immediately due to an emergency, and this one popped up on Booking.com with a great last-minute rate. The listing mentioned a private external bathroom, which was a bit confusing, but we decided to book it anyway. The layout was interesting and worked out perfectly for our needs. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn't work, which was a significant downside. While the price was great, I wouldn't recommend this location for a stay longer than two days. The hotel name is San Peter Angles - so confusing hotel names are different that the booking.com and when you get the confirmation another name

Need a few details fixed, hooks, better instructions on how to get there and in the property, perhaps shampoo and soap! We did get towels.

Location of this hotel was incredible. We got the best suprise when we opened the window shuttering windows. The Grand Canal was right in front of us with all the vibe of cafes and tourists. The noise was not an issue as as soon as you shut the windows and wooden window shutters, it quiet. Phot provided of view from balcony. There was also another balcony on other wall, also with a good view of the street. Great if you like people watching. Bed & pillows very comfortable. The 4 post bed was rather luxurious. Large, well appointed bathroom with good water pressure in shower.

We were chilly one night and couldn't seem to adjust the heat pump. We asked reception, and the staff member came to our room to personally attempt to adjust it unsuccessfully. It would appear the heat pumps were only for heat management i the summer. We were unhappy about this, so he gave us too extra duvet covers. The staff member spoke some basic english but obviously he had misunderstood us as on day we left, we found oil filled heaters behind the curtains.

Perfect location and great place to stay with so many amenities locally. The room was abundantly spacious, clean and quiet. Bathroom was also spacious. Our balcony view with our terrace overlooking the canal was picturesque. Location to major attractions was easy. There is also a water ferry right nearby to transport you to airport or around the islands. We found everything in this place accomodating and the staff kindly assisted with a chair lift for our heavy luggage. The rooms are on the first floor but there is a stair chair lift in need. Staff were extremely helpful and totally recommend this place to stay.

Beautiful place, comfortable and clean. The room and bathroom were spacious. The staff is kind and welcoming. The location is great, close to everything, we easily reached it with vaporetto and on foot. There's a lovely park just behind the hotel, check it out. There's also an Irish pub close by and a great place for brunch next to it. The reviews here mentioned the stairs, but we found no problems with that - it's only one flight of stairs and easy to go up and down. The building is old and protected, really charming, and inside everything is renovated and very nice. The air conditioning worked great, as did the mini fridge. It's definitely good value. Big thank you to the kind and lovely lady at the reception desk! She also kept our bags safe when we went out for some coffee before leaving. We appreciated everything and would love to come back here!

There was some noise late in the evening, loud music, don't know if it was from outside in the street or inside of the hotel, but it quieted down around midnight, luckily. Also, it would've been nice to have some extra rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom. My husband is tall and he would've liked a bigger shower cabin, this one was tiny. Some extra hooks for hanging towels in the bathroom would also be helpful. Some light entered the room in the morning through one of the windows, it couldn't be blocked out so make sure to bring a sleeping mask. But these are just tiny improvements, all in all - it was great!

Hotel is on great location. It is very clean and staff is really helpful and friendly. It is perfect for a short stay. You have a fridge in a room which can be helpful. Room has also air conditioning, there is no central ventilation so there is no that annoying buzzing sound. There are mosquitoes in Venice at night but you have a mosquito in socket repelent in disposal in the room.

Rooms are lot smaller than on the pictures. There is not enough space for clothes if you are staying longer than 3 days. View is not on a canal but on a side street.

A lovely, friendly, attentive, immaculately clean hotel. Delightful view of the canal from our room. Ideally situated for the train station, waterbus, restaurants and grocery store.

It wasn't a problem for us but some people might struggle with the stairs from ground level to the first floor reception area. However, this is well highlighted in the description of the hotel.

Beautiful, very clean, nice shower, comfortable bed, great service with safe place to keep luggage before check in time, great location only few minutes walk to Guglie boat station for the airport and train S.Lucia station. Loved this place 😀

Mosquitoes in October we didn’t expect, not hotel’s fault obviously but remember to ask for anti mosquitoes plugin tool (we had one in the room but it was without refill and too late in the night, although I’m sure hotel would have provided one if we asked).

The staff was great. Felt very welcome. Rooms were clean and bed was reasonable. The location was great for our purposes.

There were over 20 steps from the entrance to reception and the lift was not working. A bit challenging with luggage. The elevator up from reception was working.

Location is great. It is close to the local busstation and water-bus stop to the airport, restaurants and the main streets. The room is decorated as antique furniture with the windows opening to the street. It was a good experience us to open the window and you are looking to the crowd in narrow street. The staff was so kind and helpful. Some small requests are fulfilled at the reception, thanks. The beds are comfortable. Safebox and refrigerator available.

The breakfast was extra-charge and expensive. Before going out the crowd in Venice, it could be great to have some small bakery and coffee. The reception desk and rooms are on the upper floor. You have to carry all your items to the upstatirs (no elevator). But the worst part is there is a handicapped stair lift but it is out-of-service. I wonder how an handicapped person can stay at the hotel? How about this person arrives to the hotel late and there is no other accommodation option?
