Excellent location. Near train station on at Busy street. Clean. Efficient staff for breakfast - lots of choice

1st visit to Venice. At hotel reception, we were offered a tour to Murano, Torcello and Burrano. We took it. On reflection, we felt we were too long in Murano - disappointing visit to glass factory, and only fleeting 1 hr stops in other two locations. Sadly "tour" guide was not very clear and due to size of vessel, dictated where we sat [ for wt distribution] and in these seats we could not get very good views from tour vessel or take pictures. Generally disappointing. I wouldn't go with this company again. I would recommend sourcing a different company or getting Watet buses to each place, which are more economical and you have control of duration of visit. Burrano was & is lovely.

Location is great, less than 5 mins walk from train station and from the main vaporetto station, Ferovia. Impeccable service and professionalism from all hotel staff. Decent breakfast, with some interesting combination of ricotta cheese and pineapple. The room design is very Venetian and conveys history. tells stories.The overall hotel design, the cleanliness, the view from the balcony, makes it for a great accommodation experience, which, personally, I think should be shared by other 4* hotels. Amadeus hotel should be a model to follow.

One can notice some wear and tear in the existing wood elements (like doors, windows) but nothing that would spoil the overall experience.

The room was very clean and comfortable and they serve an amazing breakfast buffet that is included with the room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. And the room was beautiful and comfortable. The windows open for a nice breeze. There is a rule in Venice about when air conditioning can be turned on which we were unaware of we traveled in May it was slightly warm and the staff was more than happy to give us a fan which was adequate and made us comfortable.

We enjoyed everything about our stay.

My family and I stayed at this hotel in July 2025. I specifically chose it because there is a 24-hour staff member who welcomes you, and of course, you can walk to the hotel at midnight. Very friendly staff, spacious and comfortable room, cleanliness is always noticeable, and a wonderful breakfast. The location is convenient for everything, whether to walk around the city and return to the hotel, or to go on a long trip and quickly return to the hotel. I would gladly book this hotel again.

Friendly and welcoming staff, a convenient location close to the train station, ferry terminal, and Aerobus stop, plus a nice breakfast to start the day.

Since we had an early flight, we couldn’t stay for the regular breakfast. The staff kindly provided a breakfast box instead, though the food wasn’t particularly impressive. We also had to eat it in the lobby. The orange juice could be better. The garden doesn't look like in the pictures.

Overall, this is a hotel with a classic/retro patina feeling: if you are looking for that, this might be your place. The venue aged well in my opinion, the staff is maintaining the heritage of the hotel. I especially loved the ambiance of the room and the breakfast in the calm inner garden. The proximity to the train station is a big upside to. You are also close to a less central part of Venice, where you can have dinner on the canal side without being too much in the middle of huge tourist streams.

The room I had was functional, nice, complete and small (no wasted space). If having a lot of room matters to you, this might be good to know. I loved it. If the most opulent breakfast buffet is of importance to you: though absolutely fine, I think this one wouldn't win a winner prize in that category (this is rarely the case). Those downsides are minor and should not hold you back.

Chose this place due to its proximity to the train station, and we were not disappointed! They were kind enough to store our bags after we checked out which was a big perk, allowing us to spend the day wandering the city and pick up our bags on our way back to catch our night train. The breakfast spread was a nice surprise, as it was larger and more varied than at other places we had stayed. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family.

Location was excellent for sightseeing walks, shops, restaurants and cafes. Close to water taxis and only 10 minutes away from bus and train stations. Breakfast was good. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel price was good value (breakfast included) compared to many hotels on the island. Reception staff were very helpful offering advice on tours etc.

Liked it all really. Rooms may be a little dated but we liked that and you don't have a view of the water, but it is only a two minute walk to the main canal. Some may find there's not enough variety at breakfast but we enjoyed it.

The breakfast was very good. The front desk either had friendly staff or grumpy staff. The room was not in the nice new area of the hotel. It was in what would have been the servants quarters. Were we up there to have a higher view? Or because we did not pay a higher price? The first grumpy receptionist made me feel he was annoyed we were staying there. Gave me a negative vibe for the entire stay. The hotel was very quiet and we slept well. We loved our tours and the sights seen.

I wondered if the other rooms were more spacious. Again, I felt like we were treated second class. Very uncomfortable feeling.

The hotel is pretty close to St Lucia station, there are lots of bistro or deli to choice from, the hotel breakfast is decent, overall furnishing is quite impressive and elegant, a refined 90s style mixed with some successful imitation of Venetian elements

The internet is rather slow, my room was on the 1st floor, right above the main street so even with the wooden window shutter, I can hear the street, but luckily the street become quite empty at around 1000 so it was not a big issue.
