Everyone was extremely nice, and helpful during our stay. Breakfast was provided each morning, opened on time and the food was fresh & delicious. The room was of average size, and recently renovated. The bathroom was very clean and modern. The shower was amazing. The location of the hotel was perfect, approximately 12 minutes from the bus terminal Piazalle Roma, and a 30 minute walk to the Rialto bridge and St Marc’s Sq. I highly recommend this hotel and its wonderful staff.

Quiet location a short walk from station and main coach park. Unusually for an Italian hotel, the whole interior was carpeted, so there was no disturbance from other guests moving about. The hotel does not have a lift. It's a typical Venetian building. However the stairs are wide, well spaced and fitted with substantial handrails. All staff were very friendly. The breakfast choice was very good. The waitress was so fast and efficient at topping up the buffet and clearing used tables.

Nothing about the hotel. Just one particular foreign guest who was rude and abusive to the staff. I was impressed at how they remained so polite in dealing with his unreasonable demands.

Great location close to the train station and buses which makes it easy to find and not far to take your luggage. Early check in is also handy and they let us leave our cases for a few hours on our day of departure. Room 15 is freshly decorated with a modern bathroom. There is a small park nearby which is a nice place to go to escape the heat and the busy streets. We stayed here before and would stay again due to the convenience of the location. Breakfast choices were quite basic.

Room 15 had frosted windows so we couldn’t see outside. This was because it was on the ground floor, facing out onto an alleyway with people walking by. I was woken by people outside with suitcases at 4.00am. There was no holder for the toilet roll, the rolls were all squashed in the radiator. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang up wet towels.

Loved the location, very close to the bus/ train station so not far to transport the cases and only over the one big bridgefrom the bus station. Very quaint little hotel right beside lots of restaurants and close to a main canal to get transportation. Room was small but more than adequate for a short stay, had a great bathroom and shower and the bed was very comfortable. Great little courtyard to sit and relax and have a drink after your day out. Breakfast was basic but had something for everyone. I would have no issues recommending or staying here again.

It would have been nice to have a few drawers to put stuff away but this is where one of those accordian case organizers would be great as you could just hang your stuff up straight from the case.

It's located close to the train station which was very helpful. To go to another hotel that is further from the station you will definitely need a help with your suitcase. Room was modern and bathroom was refurbished. Staff were helpful.

Too many stairs with no lift. Definitely check if they have a room on the ground floor.

Fantastic location, no bridges to cross from train station, in the heart of shops, restaurants and bars. Surprisingly our Superior Economy Room had a terrace from the modern room. Breakfast was great, your usual European breakfast with eggs and sausages.

All staff were exceptional and helpful, however, the breakfast attendant needs to be a bit more quieter handling crockery when collection and setting up tables especially when organising the crockery in the adjoining room. It was loud! Not needed in the morning.

I left my bigger bag for storage two days ahead of check-in because I had to travel to a different city, and they graciously accommodated it with no charge; because reception is 24/7, I got to drop my bag past 9 pm. Booking did not include breakfast, but it was reasonable and hearty for an additional 10 Euros. Location is just off the main road of the train station, so you get added quiet. Comfy bed, cozy room, sufficient for a night's rest after a day of walking around Venice.

Just constructive comments: 1) I'm not a fan of Nespresso machines. What happened to the REAL coffee machine? 2) May I suggest toilet paper holders and towel hooks in the bathroom? No big deals, though, would definitely stay again. And the receptionist's beautiful dog was a bonus! I just love how dogs are everywhere in this city.

It was not my first time at this hotel and I am always very satisfied there. The hotel is situated in a small and quiet street close to the main street going from Pizzale Rome/Railway Station to Rialto/San Marco. It is in 5 minutes distance from the railway station and 10 minutes from Piazzale Rome (buses from the airport). Rialto/San Marco can be reached within 20-30 minutes on foot. It is also easy to take vaporetti from the railway station and go to any place in Venice/nearby islands. The hotel is simple but cosy. I had a nice room on the 3rd floor with a balcony. There is a coffee machine in the room. Wifi worked well. Breakfaast is served on the ground floor and there is a good selection of food. There are also many restaurants and shops around, including a Spaar supermarket. The staff at the reception is very nice and helpful (especially the young lady from Castelfranco Veneto).

Just two ideas how to make the stay even more pleasant: 1) It would be nice to put a fridge in the rooms. 2) It would also be nice, if breakfast started at 7 am.

Villa Rosa proved to be a good place to stay , just a short walk from Piazzale Roma / train station and tucked away in a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle a short distance away. Check in was efficient / friendly and throughout our stay the staff team were helpful. The room was of adequate size , clean and it was good to sit out on the balcony. The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of options. Although we had the balcony to sit out on the hotel also had a garden area to sit in which was useful for downtime in a busy city. All in all pretty good and would recommend.

We knew that the hotel did not havea lift so not a problem but some travellers might find access to upper floor difficult. Breakfast was fine but hot options were maybe hanging around a bit , but getting a hotel with hot food cooked to order probably means spending more money in the first place. It's Venice so nothing is cheap and Villa Rosa, in our opinion, offered reasonable value.

The hotel, far enough off the main touristy street to be quiet, was still just a quick walk from the train station with no bridges to cross. That's a real advantage when you leave your suitcases there to get in that last bit of sightseeing but then have to hurry to pick them up and catch a bus to the airport. We were given a pleasant corner room with a balcony, which was fun. Comfy bed. Breakfast offered plenty of variety and was tasty.

No real lounge for guests, but who's spending time in those when in Venice? Not particularly interesting area, but again, who's spending time there except to sleep?
