Super friendly staff! They even served coffee at 4am and made a goodie bag upon checking out because we had to leave to catch our flight before breakfast (which was included). Thank you! It was very clean even though the hotel is quite old.

The beds were not very comfortable. The walls are thin. I could hear someone talking on the phone in the next room all night..

The location was great 5 minutes walk from the train station and vaporetto. The breakfast was really good and the staff were very helpful.

We were on the main floor so we could hear everything outside. The windows must have been really thin. The TV was a little bit outdated. The sound was not great. The baggage was left in an insecure room without tags. I think anyone leaving luggage should be given a tag so that the owner walks out with the correct luggage.

Very well located , super close to the train station and just a 10 minute walk away from the bus shuttle .The room we had was clean and equipped with basic things which h was fine for one night. Breakfast was absolutely fine for the pricerange.

There was hot water in the morning but seem to have ran out by the evening so it's worth to keep that in mind.

We only stayed at the hotel for one night, the hotel was well located right by the train station. It allowed us to drop our luggage and get straight out and explore Venice. We were also able to leave our luggage in the morning as our train was not leaving until the afternoon.

The only issue with the hotel was the drains were quite smelly but as we were out for the majority of our stay it was only an issue when were sleeping.

The hotel does the job. It is simple but very decent. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms are clean. You have to understand that Venice is an old city so the facilities are not cutting edge modern as other places. Breakfast was very good. The ladies that prepare the cappuccino are very friendly. Make sure you tip them well. The location is also great. It is literaly 5 minutes from the Venice train station and 15 min from the nearest car parking in the area. If you plan to arrive by train, this place is perfect. If you are arriving by car (rental) you would need to walk 15-20 min to get to the hotel. There are 2 ferry stations very close to the hotel and lots of restaurants in the area. Overall I would recommend this hotel

The elevator is quite small and slow. If you are at a higher floor and have difficulties with stairs that could be a deal breaker for you. Obviously having an elevator is a plus so what I am trying to say here is that it could be better but this does not diminish our overall high rate for this hotel.

It is a lovely room, we booked the last one available. We had an early train to catch, which was the best option, so we stayed near the train station—good internet connection, easy check-in, clean and tidy. This hotel deserves more than how it was rated on booking.com, and we will stay there again.

We received a breakfast box, as we were not able to stay for breakfast, yet it would be maybe better also to offer rooms without breakfast, as the breakfast box does not contain coffee :D Also, the bathroom was nice for the hotel management team, but one part was missing for the shower doors.

The location was great. Just 3 min away from the train station and is located not too far from the main plaza. Breakfast was good although basic. The family room we got was very spacious. The bathroom was clean and modern, and warm enough for the winter. The only downside was that the first night was horrible with all the noise coming from the occupants next door (who were a group of teens probably on a school trip- we could hear a lot of screaming, banging the walls and even breaking glass up until 2 am maybe), but the next night, when they were gone it was quiet, apart from slight squeaky sound from the ceiling which you can expect from an old building. In summary, after my stay at this hotel, i will probably choose another hotel the next time I visit Venice, knowing that affordable hotels like this cater to big tour groups which can really disturb your peace when you are on a holiday.

We do not understand the critical reviews for this hotel. It is not posh and has not changed for 50 years but it is excellent value for money. The staff were lovely, the room very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast absolutely fine. The location is perfect, just a minute's walk from the station. For a family for whom money is an important consideration, we completely recommend this hotel.

We just needed an accommodation that was close to our transfer to the airport so it was conveniently next to the train station & bus shuttles parking. The rooms are much better than expected. There are many shops & restaurants around the hotels. We had to check out very early but the hotel packed for us a bag of light breakfast with croissant, snacks & water.. that was very appreciated.

Small hotel, there's an elevator but it could only accommodate 1 person with 2 luggages so you need to be patient if you are traveling with a big group & your room is on higher floors. We did appreciate that there was an elevator, some other hotels do not even have one.

The hotel is well situated, close to the train and vaporetto station in a small calle. The room was nice and the bed comfi, bathroom clean and functioning. there is a balcony attached to the room. Breakfast is good too. Staff was friendly.

Who needs a TV set when in Venice? There is one but small and provides only Italian programmes. But, the plugins are mainly Italian format, one took a European connector and the decision was to charge the phone or take the moskitos away over night. If I'd stay longer I'd hoped the furniture at the balcony could be used and not be almost broken.
