Incredible location. Room with private terrace is worth every penny, located in a beautiful spot on the entrance to Venice. Watching the people and boats go by with a glass of fizz feels like a very premium experience. Would highly recommend arriving by private boat. It is expensive but literally pulls you up to the front door. We were in awe on arrival. Rozy, the staff member who greeted us, was fantastic and made us very comfortable on arrival. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

There is only one down side for our room, and that is the roof is sloped over the bath so it was not possible to take a standing shower. I had to squat to avoid banging my head.

Location is very good - only a short walk from the Train station with only one bridge to go over. Facilities are clean and modern but with a lot of Baroque Venetian flair. Beds were also comfy - we slept very well. Also, we arrived very late after an arduous 22 hour train journey and our host gave us a complimentary bottle of Proseco which was very much appreciated!

We booked this location specifically because the description included a balcony/terrace and canal view. However, the room we got had no balcony or terrace and only an oblique view of a canal. So while I had looked forward to relaxing with a glass of wine on the balcony, soaking up the ambiance of Venice, we had to hit the bricks for that experience. So I wasn't able to lounge on my balcony in comfy clothes after a long day of sightseeing which is the ideal vision I had for my stay.

We were lucky to be able to stay in the red room with a balcony and a beautiful view over Ponte delle Guglie and the canal, we really couldn’t have chosen a better room! It was amazing, beautiful location, sunset view with Prosecco, great room with everything you need, and a wonderful service & staff. We felt right at home. And the building itself is also beautiful and full of charm. We would definitely come back and book the same room!

Everything was great. It can be a bit noisy outside in the morning, but that is normal considering the location!

Beautiful and comfortable room with a free and well stocked mini-bar, in perfect position (with balcony overlooking bridge and canal)

While there was an English speaker at the end of Whatsapp (unfortunately we don't speak Italian) there was no-one on site to speak to about everyday matters. We met two friendly house keepers, but they seemed under pressure and the daily housekeeping was sporadic and minimal during our stay considering the price paid. There were also several facilities mentioned on Booking.com that were not present eg. mini market, barber shop (although some sort of construction work was happening on the ground floor) and the rooftop terrace is only available to one room.

We loved the room decor, its view overlooking the bridge and canal, the quality furniture, great shower and water flow, working safe, free drinks and the friendly housekeeper. It was also nice they let us leave our luggage at the property the day we checked out.

The bed was two single mattresses and uncomfortable when you ended up in the middle. We had asked in advance for a lower pillow and a couple of breakfast bowls but they never arrived. The property was way too slow responding to our initial enquiry. It was a VERY noisy location because of its position on the canal so hard to get any deep sleep. That said, observing all the canal activity once we were up really was a highlight! We shall be back!

Lots of confusion around check-in. We had to fill out extensive forms including passport info which we sent 2 days in advance on WhatsApp. When we arrived, the check in lady could not find it (and did not want to let us in the building until we filled it out while standing outside lol). We pushed back, she let us in and she found it. She also spoke English to us through the intercom but would only speak Italian to us in person which was odd (we do not understand Italian lol). On check out she asked for us payment again which we had already paid in full on check in. Did not ruin it for us, in fact, it was kind of funny.

Excellent location with local charm, and the view over the canal is fantastic. Amenities were great and the welcome drink was a nice touch. We were happy to have air conditioning. We booked very last minute and our host was able to accommodate us within the hour!

I struggled with the online check-in as the drop-down menus were not working, but Eva quickly wrote to me on WhatsApp and I was able to send her photos of our identification for check-in. We really loved watching the boats in the canal from the room, but the downside is that it is quite loud most of the night with the sound of boat motors, so bring ear plugs!

We loved our stay at Palazzina Veneziana and I will recommend it to anyone! The property is in a fantastic location, being in a central area surround by lots of restaurants and shops. Nicole and Roza were fantastic hosts, they were so accommodating of us and made us feel so welcome. The facilities were great and you can see that they really put in a lot of effort and thought of everything to make you feel so welcome. An absolute lovely and unexpected bonus was that we didn't have to pay for any of the drinks (water, beer, champagne, soft drinks) in the mini fridge. We would definitely stay there again.
