Stylish boutique property in a quiet part of Venice. Great breakfast. Kind staff. Clean. Lots of good cicceti bars and restaurants close by.

A bit far from the main attractions other than the Jewish Ghetto. On days when it was busy for breakfast the service was painfully slow No lobby to speak of. The hotel needs to add a plank or have someone assist guests when a water taxi is called. We had a 8 am pickup on a water taxi booked by the hotel which “parked” about 2 feet from the edge. We asked him to bring it closer but he didn’t. My husband who is elderly fell and got badly injured as he tried to get in the boat.There was only one person at the desk at that time, unfortunately we didn’t think of running back in to get help, our bad, but just to say the staff should be aware that some people may require assistance.

The position of the location, on the Cannaregio, the room was spacious and the cleaning service was good.

They recently painted the hallway with a paint that smelled awful and made me sick after every breakfast when wanted to go back to the room and the fact that they had the same breakfast everyday.

Beautiful hotel on a busy canal but great fun watching all the boats go by. In a quieter district away from the crowds. Peaceful courtyard garden for relaxing at the end of the day. The staff couldn't do enough for you and were very friendly. Lovely breakfast with good choice. Our room was beautiful with good air conditioning which was appreciated as we had some warm weather. Even though the hotel is an old Palazzi our room was spacious with a large bathroom and very good walk in shower. Great coffee machine ! Really could not fault our stay and made our first trip to Venice an unforgettable one.

Unfortunately they were doing some work on the canal but we were told in advance and it didn't spoil our stay.

The check in process was fantastic, very friendly. We booked 2 rooms and they were beautiful and faced the canal. There was a mini bar w/fridge in the room, large dressers, bathroom w/shower & bidet. It was a good sized room. Turndown service was friendly (body lotion) and water. There was also a welcome note, and chocolates in the room. The breakfast is excellent. There is a self serve buffet and also a menu option (they will let you know what made to order food is included in the price-I had an omelette & there is bacon and pancakes available). Check out was a breeze and they booked us a water taxi to the airport and portered our luggage to the taxi. Overall, we would come back again.

This hotel was just perfect. It is in an impressive 17th century Venetian building that has been modernised. The rooms are just incredibly well decorated. Very comfortable and spacious. The staff simply can’t do enough to help. Amazing service, great food recommendations and you feel so well looked after. It was our anniversary and they had a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates waiting for us in the room with a lovely handwritten note. There are so many little touches like this that makes all the difference between a good stay and an amazing one. The breakfast is just the best. Quality ingredients, a range of cheese and cold meats as well as cooked options made at a very high standard. One of the best breakfast I’ve ever had in a 5 star hotel. It was just a superb hotel and one I would come back again in a heartbeat.

I loved everything from my arrival to departure ! I rarely give reviews, but I truly believe this hotel deserve a great review ! The place was so clean and the building itself is speechless ! I also booked myself a regular room, but got upgraded (without even asking) to a suite. This truly means that they care about their customer and don’t hesitate to give them the best room available to them ! It was only 8 minutes from the train station which was great ! It was around 25 minutes to Piazza San Marco, but the walk is worth it ! Also, their restaurant is great ! The quality of the food and meal is above expectations. I will, for sure, go back there if I travel to Venice Again ! The staff are so helpful and really want to make sure you have a pleasant stay!

The hotel is amazing, with super friendly staff, a very comfortable bed, and an impeccable room. The location is great, walkable to Venice, and breakfast was excellent. Our dog was very welcomed, although the 45 euro pet fee felt excessive and was the highest I’ve ever paid. The only downside was the bathroom — very tiny and cluttered, with poorly placed fixtures like a freestanding toilet paper holder and towel rack, making it hard to move around. The room had a beautiful view of a canal. The price was high, but that’s Venice. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend it.

The room was HUGE and exceptionally clean, the location was great, and the breakfast options were wonderful! It's a short walk (less than 10 minutes), whether dropped off by street taxi or water taxi. We reserved a water view king suite, and surprisingly, we were upgraded to a double king! It was more like a two bedroom apartment separated by a living space (fully furnished with a pull out sofa, two loveseats, and more, plus an 8-person conversation/dinner/conference table in both bedrooms. What a lovely surprise! If we ever visit Venice again, ca' bonfadini is definitely our only go- to!

The hotel is a restored Villa on a charming Venetian canal. Our room was lovely and adorned with 19th century frescos and had wonderful charm and amenities. Great, spacious bathroom and seperate shower area. I want to give special thanks to all of the managers and staff that made us feel like we were staying with family. This is an exceedingly well run and friendly hotel that got all of the "little things" right. I came away very impressed with the incredible level of hand's on service. Thank you for making our vacation relaxing and memorable.

We went to this hotel for the first stop of our honeymoon. We arrived exhausted and hot after a morning of carrying suitcases but as soon as we arrived we were treated like kings (and queens!!) we checked in with our host Giuseppe and he gave us some amazing recommendations of bars and restaurants that were local. We then told Guiseppe That it was our honeymoon and he was so kind to upgrade our (already amazing) suite and treat us to some Prosecco and a fruit platter. We will absolutely return to this hotel and hope to see Guiseppe and his amazing team again.
