Excellent stay at Ca’ San Rocco We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The breakfast terrace was particularly memorable – the staff kindly set it up especially for us even though it was quite cool and no one else wanted to sit outside. This personal touch really made our mornings special. The bathroom in our room was excellent, and the entire room was very clean. Despite being centrally located, the hotel was remarkably quiet, giving us the perfect combination of convenience and tranquility. The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout our stay. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return on our next visit to Venice.

The property was very nice and felt like staying at a friend’s house. On several occasions i reached out to them for assistance which we received a very informative and prompt response. The breakfast spread was delicious & provided us with a full belly for a nice time frame. Best croissants we have had! Thank you so much & if ever back in Venice this is the place to visit! Amazing location with access to a local tiny delicious pizza!

Not that it was not liked just different for us. The ac & how understandably it was raised by cleaning staff when out of the room. With unprecedented heat wave, this made it difficult when coming back very exhausted & sweaty from a full day. Room eventually did cool down a bit and able to sleep

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had the top floor with a balcony, which would have been great,but our weather wasn't that good to appreciate it. Breakfast was good served from 8am to 10am. The walk from our hotel to St Marks Square was 30 minutes and 15 to Rialto Bridge at a steadypace. We have definitely walked off the pasta and pizza, which are good in each restaurant. The streets are well signed ,but we needed Google maps to assist us. If you are doing a Gondola shop around!

Very busy in the city, but that is to be expected.

Ca’ San Rocco is located in the San Polo district. It’s a perfect location to escape the active heart of Venice as it’s a short walk to cross over to the other side of the island. The birds chirp in the morning, and the breakfast terrace is elegant and perfect to sip your caffe and listen to the sounds of nature. The comfort of the bed, the room arrangement and spaciousness were the best of all the properties we visited in Italy (the other 2 were Rome and Florence). We needed separate beds for 2 adult travels in the same space. The design was perfect for this, including a separate private bathroom. The staff were incredible, they communicated everything we needed to know, they helped to assist us navigate challenges with our travel itinerary. They responded timely and the staff onsite were attentive and friendly and kind. I would love to stay here again.

I loved everything about this property. The one information I would add is that of you have not travel to Venice, you will not know until you arrive. It’s not easy to maneuver if you have a lot of luggage and heavy bags. We found a porter straight away from the train to assist us, as we were at the tail end of our trip and our 3 large suitcases were heavy.

We liked the breakfast. It was a not to much, but fully enough to get the energy, a good balance between sweet and non-sweet things. And each day there was some small variation in the offer. The last day there was even a boiled egg with ham which is not typical for Italian breakfast, but we from the north like to eat a lot of eggs :) . Excellent location - 8 min walking distance from/to the Central bus terminal in Piazzale Roma and about 25 min to St.Marco (for smbd. it is maby too far, but not for us, we liked walking and at the same time not staying in the central (overcrowded) part of Venezia). A very quite and comfortable place.

Very nice and helpful staff, all information that where required to enter the hotel late in the night where sent before checkin. Good breakfast. Private kitchen annex and terrace was also nice to have to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. Very clean bathroom. Overall would recommend for everyone visiting Venice.

The breakfasts could have been more varied. It would be great to have more vegetables to choose.

This hotel was perfect for us. It is located within walking distance of both the station and Piazzale Roma. It is a short walk if you want to catch a water bus from S. Toma. The room was large enough and provided everything we wanted. Breakfast was more than adequate for us

This hotel doesn't have a lift so be careful if you have heavy bags as you may have to carry them up one of two flights of stairs

We had been given clear instructions how to get into the property upon arrival. There were no staff members present at the time of our arrival. The accommodation is within walking distance from bus and train station. Also not far from Valporetto and gondola stops on the Grand Canal. Accommodations itself is in a nice quiet area. Some nice restaurants in nearby Dorsoduro area, within walking distance. Breakfast was good and served by a nice lady.

The lights in the room were not nice, very bright and white. The shower cubicle was quite small and there was no bath, like it shows in the pictures on the web site. There is no elevator. Room was adequate but a bit small.

Location of the hotel was amazing, rooms were traditionally decorated and extremely clean and the staff were really pleasant and helpful. The only criticism I have is that we couldn't seem to work the air con, however we didn't mention it or ask for assistance so this may well have been stupidity on my part. The breakfast was basic but plentiful and fresh and the lovely lady at reception loaned us (free of charge) an adapter for the sockets as we had forgotten to pack one. Over all a great stay and we would go again!

Hotel was a bit hot and we couldn't work the air con however it wasn't a huge problem and we didn't ask for help which would have probably resolved the issue.

It is a cosy and quiet place with garden views, clean and pleasantly decorated rooms, and hospitable staff/owners. The biggest advantage is clearly the very convenient location: a 5-minute walk from the main access points to the island (coach stop and train station) or the vaporetto stop on Grand Canal and right next to two major attractions for art lovers (Scuola Grande di San Rocco and Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari).

The TV set was a bit of a disappointment, as it was very small and with only two channels. Breakfast was also quite basic, but it can still give you a good start to the day and it can be served on a nice terrace in the summer.
