Staff at the main desk are very nice, friendly & helpful ready to answer all questions. Had a wheelchair accessible room. Travelled with my father, a senior. Room was on the main floor level. Very spacious with one room having a wheelchair accessible walk-in shower with a fold down shower bench, but staff (Roxy who is amazing) also accommodated my father by putting a shower chair in there with the back on it. Kitchen in room with a full-size fridge, stove, top, cupboards, cutlery, dishes, glasses, etc. , kitchen table with 4 chairs . Full size sofa & chair in living room . 2nd bedroom had a bathtub , closet space, lots of shelving throughout the whole unit. There is a laundry room outside of the room nearby for use by guests, a great added feature. One of the biggest bonuses for this hotel is that they have a company with drivers that work just with this hotel. Was excellent to get to know our driver, Fernando who we could call via the front desk or text/call ourselves. He sets the price to where you’re going so it’s like having your own personal ride share driver & you don’t have to worry about the price going up like you would for a taxi. It was an amazing bonus to also arrange for him to come pick us up at particular location & time like outlet malls nearby to bring us back to the hotel . We got to know him, and he was very polite, professional, and this added to the comfort & security of our trip. Another amazing feature of this hotel is that it’s located directly across the street from Icon park which has no admission fee. You can just walk around there, enjoy the restaurants with lots of people to see , rides for children, etc. Madame Tussaud’s & an aquarium are at Icon Pk which is an added bonus. The breakfast is basic at hotel with an option for purchase of some things like breakfast sandwiches and coffee, etc.. It was good! I highly recommend staying here. It’s not fancy, but clean & functional.

Located opposite Icon Park, it is in a great spot. 15mins approx from Universals City Walk, Uber cost approx $8. Lots of local shops and things to do. Sonesta ES has ample.parking for you and they dont charge extra if you're staying with them. Pool facilities are good and open from early until late. The reception staff are brilliant, very helpful and accommodating - all done with a smile. Just perfect! We had the 2 bed suite, it was massive, and spotless. Biggest bonus for us was that the beds are huge and unbelievably comfortable, the air-conditioning keeps the room cool, noise is almost none existent at night so a great night's sleep can be had. The reception is 24hr with a small shop for drinks, snacks and basic medicines - even shaving stuff. If you feel peckish and dont want to cook, uber eats will also deliver hear. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again, massive rooms and comfortable but most important for us was it is clean... I'd recommend to anyone! I've included one picture, the view from our room :)

The only thing I would say is that the Sonesta ES needs updating from a furnishings perspective, everything works as it should but could do with a little modernisation. Other than that, our stay was perfect.

I like the size of the room and the full kitchen. It was almost like a small apartment. I also enjoyed the hot tub and the layout of the hotel. The location was great,since a bunch of restaurants and activities to do are across the street.

eally enjoyed staying there, my only complaint is that the walls are very thin. I could hear every little thing and at midnight there was someone on the floor above me banging for a good 15 minutes on their door. It scared me. I thought it was someone banging on our door because our door was shaking. My husband had to go out there and tell him to stop.

Location was good, right across the road from The Icon as well as on International Drive with a trolley bus stop right outside. Staff were friendly and helpful especially when I was delayed due to a hurricane. The kitchen in the room was helpful to be able to make breakfast in the morning.

Only 2 morning and 2 evening shuttles to the parks. Ended up taking Ubers as they were more convenient. Had a fire alarm at 2am which disrupted sleep and took half an hour be able to get back to our rooms. Did not really have much information or updates from staff during this time.

Roxy at the Front Desk was absolutely amazing from time of check in to departure,she was fantastic! The Hotel itself was very nice and accommodating, it's like they thought of everything. Rental Car pickup is inside the hotel, along with a Starbucks. The rooms are very spacious and clean. On m reservation I mentioned ee were traveling for my daughters bday and there was a Gift Basket left in the room for her. I couldn't be more happy with this Hotel. We will definitely be back before the end of summer.

Nothing everything was perfect

The staff is friendly. The location is great. The hotel is great but it is the first time that we stayed in a hotel where the maid never came. Very close to Universal, the Icon Park, shops, supermarket, great location!

I stayed from Dec. 28 2024 until Jan. 2nd 2025. The maid NEVER came. We asked the reception and they said they were going to send the maid, but she NEVER came. Then the reception said that the mais would come after the 3rd night. NEVER came. We had to put the garbage and the towels outside. And we had to clean the room ourselves.

The size of the room, kitchen and appliances, location, even if near the crowded park it was silent.

On the pictures it doesn’t show, but the equipment and furniture is old already. Bed would need to exchange the mattress already, as it had a valley on one side. Those are small details and didn’t influence my stay, which was great. One last thing: breakfast options are limited so I advice to make breakfast in the room, there is wholefoods store nearby.

Check in staff was excellent, deserves mention he was great check in and out Nov 14 and 15! So friendly and accomodating. We come here often and it was my birthday. We were able to check in slightly early. Luckily the rate was a little lower so we could stay there instead of the La Quinta like we had to when it's too high here sometimes. We absolutely love the hot tub. It is quite, empty and very well maintained. We both work hard it's a lovely escape. Beautiful view of the Eye, where we like to walk around. Lobby decoration for Christmas is beautiful.

We miss the small morning complimentary snacks...ie muffins and fruits. The breakfast bar is quite pricey.

This property is extremely underrated. The two bedroom option had: two separate bathrooms (each with tub, toilet, sink), 3 televisions, a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, tableware, bowls, microwave, stoves, pots, etc.), a 4 seat dining table, and exceptionally well-functioning air conditioning... For those reading this, please look at as many pictures as you can on Google and other booking sites to get an idea of this steal of a property... (I only took videos, unfortunately). A normal hotel literally has two beds, one bathroom, and that's it. This is an entire apartment for what it's worth.

Can be humid, but can be mitigated with AC

The place was perfect for a family of 6 - 4 adults and 2 kids. The 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms really catered to our needs. Laundry downstairs was great. The pool and spa were sensational. Even in Winter we could swim as the pool was heated perfectly. The location is in walking distance to many restaurants and the Wholefoods (about 1 mile; 15 minute walk) if you wanted fresh food. The free shuttle to Universal was a bonus too.

The rooms had no windows that we could open to allow for ventilation. Whilst the kitchen had cooking facilities, there were only cutlery, crockery and seating at the dinner table for 4 people even though the place could accomodate 6 people.
