The pool area was wonderful. It hosts both sunbathing lounge chairs as well as tables with umbrellas, a lounge section and two small pavillions. The room was very clean and stocked with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and an ice maker. The beds were comfortable and bathroom updated and clean. The hotel is within walking distance to the historic district and restaurants. This hotel is definitely value priced given its location and quality. Well worth it and I will book here again in the future.

We liked the location, walkable to St. George St., next door to the hop on/off trolley, plenty of restaurants nearby (be sure to try Bronx pizza across the street—great food, staff & a nice bar). Pool was well kept, on-site restaurant/bar & on the backside of hotel is a nice little deck area with tables & chairs to enjoy bird watching & sunsets. Only warning I would give is that you have to cross a VERY busy 4 lanes of traffic to walk to the attractions, so if you have mobility issues or will be pushing a child in a stroller, you may want to stay elsewhere or at least be sure to walk far enough down the street where you can cross at a light. But overall great stay & would return.

I was very impressed with the hotel and loved the throw-back design. I liked the fact that it was a little off the beaten path because it was a very busy weekend in St. Augustine (spring break & St. Patti's Day). I found the room to be very comfortable and clean. I wipe down frequently touched areas when I go to a hotel. This usually results in dirty wipes, but at this hotel they came out almost perfectly clean reflecting the attention that the staff pays to cleanliness. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was friendly.

There was nothing about my stay that I didn't like.

The uncomplicated and fast Check in, and nice Rooms, and the nice Patio on the backside, where you can sit and smoke or have a drink. We arrived when it was dark, the next day we saw, the Hotel is direct on a river, which makes is more nice. In the Area are plenty of possibilities for Breakfast and Dinner. To Downtown, a mile or so also this makes it a good location.

the only downgrade was, we caught 2 bugs in the room, one cockroach and a smaller one. But i wouldnt blame here the Clean service, as i mentioned before, the hotel is right next to a river, and there is of course wildlife there. The room was on the first floor and right opposite the river, with tiles, so it was easy to see and catch, and we simple keep our suitcases closed, just to make sure, not to have an unwelcome guest at home.

The check in was super quick and friendly. I've been twice in the past month and both men I've encountered were awesome. It's funny because the TVs are a bit outdated. But they offer free dvds for the DVD play that your room has. Both rooms were on opposite sides of hotel and both equally clean and comfortable! Also the location to downtown is hardly a 10 minute walk. Very convenient without being literally downtown.

Wish the TV was a smart TV. And the only downside is the train behind can be a bit bothersome if it drives through the night - but that's nothing they can do personally. Just an observation.

Good locations within walking distance of the attractions. The staff was excellent and made personal contact with phone calls when necessary. The housekeeping staff was great, even contacting me to let me know I left an item in the room.

A little close to the railroad track when we stayed in the water view rooms. I don't recall that being on the description when booking the room. However the room was well insulated and when a train did go by it was barely nocicable

The room was clean mini fridge actually gets cold there’s an ice machine instead of having to leave my room to get ice Jose made sure to do check ups to make sure I was having a wonderful stay

left for a 12 hour shift and when I can back that night the trash had been taken out but no new sheets they just threw the covers across the bed literally.

Room was exceptionally clean and larger than expected. Staff extremely helpful, professional and courteous. Location was good. Well-lit parking in front. No noise from AC Large kitchen with new appliances

Extra linens for pull out couch were not available nor were extra blankets for the bedrooms but i think if you ask, they will provide them. Light intrusion from alleyway behind unit was a mess and light was on all night. Train at rear of building was not an issue when running but several "homeless" seemed to congregate along the back tracks.

We loved everything about the property. Rooms were exceptionally clean and we even had an ice maker in our room. Our tv messed up the second to last night we were staying. They were on it the next day trying to get it fixed. They did fix it good enough for us to watch. Loves how the front desk person Joel texted us to make sure everything was good for our stay. Definitely staying there when we go back!

The room was big and the shower was awesome. All the staff was very friendly and I really liked the pool area. We didn't use the restaurant but it was nice that it was there if we had wanted to go. The trains going by added a nice atmosphere. We like trains,though. The parking lot was spacious and easy to navigate.

Only wish there was a bigger area for dogs. The one provided works,but it's pretty over grown with grass.
