Good value hotel. We stayed for 3 nights to visit NYC. The best and cheapest way to go there from the hotel is to take an Uber to Newark train station (10-20 dollar, 10 min) and then a train to New York train station (6 dollar) or PACT metro (3.50 dollar) to WTC (25 min). The airport train station is only accesible by the monorail and train tickets to NYC much more expensive.

The hotel offered shuttle service to the airport. But they neglected to tell you that the shuttle would only take you to the airport train station and then you had to catch a train to your terminal and do a lot of walking. This added valuable time to your journey and could cause you to miss your flight. English skills were poor at best. I would have been better off catching an Uber to the airport.

Everything was going great until one of the clean-up crew decided to move my belongings that I left in the hotel room. I realized that I left my belongings on the hanger near the restroom, and when I was told to go up and look, it was no longer there. There was a tip on the table, but of course, that was gone too, along with the sheets already removed. The staff was not honest about my belongings hanging on the hanger that should not have been removed or if they put it in the lost and found, but they denied seeing it in the hotel. If I put it there and forgot it, it should have still been there. The cleaning lady moved it and denied doing so. This is not a great service, and had i known that this would've happened, i would not have left a tip. I'm very disappointed.

Nitpicking: when giving information about the shuttle on the phone, it might be a good idea to say not only that it stops at the signpost #1 by P4, but also that the Newark Hampton shuttle bus color is distinctive. I got on the wrong shuttle bus (a non-descript white van that also said Hampton Inn; most of the shuttles were white). The Hampton Inn I was at first had no internet or telephone due to the fiber optic cable being cut somewhere near Brunswick! So it took awhile to figure it out, and I had to Uber back to the correct Hampton Inn around midnight, once my mistake became clear.

Location was good. Good thing they have shuttle (we used taxi). They have breakfast we didn't go to. The best part is location and shower

i DIDN'T LIKE THE NOISE, SMELL AT THE HOTEL. The worst part was we had international flight. We were extremely tired. The cleaning lady started knocking the door like maniac ar 10.10am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check out is at 11am...Chill out!!!!!!!!!!!! And she knocked the door 4 times. At some point i got so annoyed... i know i have to leave!!! so annoying

Room was clean and comfortable. The room was a good size and bedding was comfortable. The proximity to the airport was very convenient and the reason we choose this hotel. Breakfast was excellent. The area was clean, many food choices including waffles, eggs, bread options, cold cereals and oatmeal. There were many places to sit and enjoy breakfast.

There is very little parking and didn't like the $20 parking fee.

Location because the Hotel is near Liberty Newark International Airport and Mills at Jersey Gardens. The later you can easily go from the hotel througth an UBER ($ 10.00 - 15.00 each ride). It is also super easy to arrive at the hotel from the Newark Liberty International Airport train station - it is just to get the air train at this station, down at P4 station and get the shuttle service offered by the hotel each 30 min. To go to the airport is the same and sometimes, acoording to the terminal of the people, the driver kindly let people in the C terminal. The hotel staff was very attentive and the room was ok (cleaning, size and comfort). It looked like it had been recently renovated. The heating system was working perfectly. Breakfast was also good. Simple but good.

Everything was clean and modern and the staff were helpful and friendly. We had an issue in the middle of the night with the fire detector making noises like it wanted a new battery and the front desk quickly set us up in a new room. There were plenty of options for breakfast in the morning- tradition US chain hotel style with hot options, bread/baked goods options, oatmeal, cereal, waffle maker, various toppings. The airport shuttle ran every half hour and you arranged with the front desk to make sure there was room in the morning on the one that you needed.

This isn’t the fault of the property, but even though the train station is super close by it is not accessible by foot or even simple to drive to. The best way to get there is to take the shuttle to the airport and then the air train right back to the train station. The whole area is fairly motorway bound. You won’t find a nice place to run/walk outside from it. It is in the area with the airport car rentals and car parking.

The rooms were quite spacious and clean with a helpful staff. The staff at the reception was gracious enough to give me an early check-in. All major amenities that were listed in the booking were provided in the room and the hotel. The breakfast buffet was also good and decent enough but limited options for vegetarians. The airport shuttle which is to be provided mandatory by the New Jersey Port Authority was also good and the frequency was decent. The hotel is far from the city so you have to take the Train to go but near the Newark Airport which was ideal for my stay. Overall, the stay was good, the rooms were clean and spacious and the staff was helpful.

For me, the stay was good but if you are looking for going to the city this might not be a good option as you would have to burn money on taking trains every day otherwise it's decent given it's near to Airport. Breakfast was also good but limited options for vegetarians.

Overall, had a great stay at the Hampton. I arrived early and when the supervisor/manager arrived, the front desk lady was able to help check me in early. Much appreciated after a flight and for some much needed rest before my evening planned activities (concert). The included breakfast was adequate for a quick bite before heading to the airport the next morning. I wish there were some more vegetarian/healthy options like fruits, salad, etc.

I wish the hotel shuttle pick-up from the airport was more frequent or able to be called upon request. I just missed one when I arrived and was waiting quite a long time for the next one.
