Good value hotel. We stayed for 3 nights to visit NYC. The best and cheapest way to go there from the hotel is to take an Uber to Newark train station (10-20 dollar, 10 min) and then a train to New York train station (6 dollar) or PACT metro (3.50 dollar) to WTC (25 min). The airport train station is only accesible by the monorail and train tickets to NYC much more expensive.

The hotel offered shuttle service to the airport. But they neglected to tell you that the shuttle would only take you to the airport train station and then you had to catch a train to your terminal and do a lot of walking. This added valuable time to your journey and could cause you to miss your flight. English skills were poor at best. I would have been better off catching an Uber to the airport.

Location was good. Good thing they have shuttle (we used taxi). They have breakfast we didn't go to. The best part is location and shower

i DIDN'T LIKE THE NOISE, SMELL AT THE HOTEL. The worst part was we had international flight. We were extremely tired. The cleaning lady started knocking the door like maniac ar 10.10am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check out is at 11am...Chill out!!!!!!!!!!!! And she knocked the door 4 times. At some point i got so annoyed... i know i have to leave!!! so annoying

Room was clean and comfortable. The room was a good size and bedding was comfortable. The proximity to the airport was very convenient and the reason we choose this hotel. Breakfast was excellent. The area was clean, many food choices including waffles, eggs, bread options, cold cereals and oatmeal. There were many places to sit and enjoy breakfast.

There is very little parking and didn't like the $20 parking fee.

Location because the Hotel is near Liberty Newark International Airport and Mills at Jersey Gardens. The later you can easily go from the hotel througth an UBER ($ 10.00 - 15.00 each ride). It is also super easy to arrive at the hotel from the Newark Liberty International Airport train station - it is just to get the air train at this station, down at P4 station and get the shuttle service offered by the hotel each 30 min. To go to the airport is the same and sometimes, acoording to the terminal of the people, the driver kindly let people in the C terminal. The hotel staff was very attentive and the room was ok (cleaning, size and comfort). It looked like it had been recently renovated. The heating system was working perfectly. Breakfast was also good. Simple but good.

The rooms were quite spacious and clean with a helpful staff. The staff at the reception was gracious enough to give me an early check-in. All major amenities that were listed in the booking were provided in the room and the hotel. The breakfast buffet was also good and decent enough but limited options for vegetarians. The airport shuttle which is to be provided mandatory by the New Jersey Port Authority was also good and the frequency was decent. The hotel is far from the city so you have to take the Train to go but near the Newark Airport which was ideal for my stay. Overall, the stay was good, the rooms were clean and spacious and the staff was helpful.

For me, the stay was good but if you are looking for going to the city this might not be a good option as you would have to burn money on taking trains every day otherwise it's decent given it's near to Airport. Breakfast was also good but limited options for vegetarians.

Overall, had a great stay at the Hampton. I arrived early and when the supervisor/manager arrived, the front desk lady was able to help check me in early. Much appreciated after a flight and for some much needed rest before my evening planned activities (concert). The included breakfast was adequate for a quick bite before heading to the airport the next morning. I wish there were some more vegetarian/healthy options like fruits, salad, etc.

I wish the hotel shuttle pick-up from the airport was more frequent or able to be called upon request. I just missed one when I arrived and was waiting quite a long time for the next one.

Room was quite big and everything clean and very comfortable shower with large separate wash basin. Good WiFi as well

The location is a bit far from the terminals and there is no way to walk there. The shuttle bus service is good, although not too frequent and you have to watch because there are apparently two different Hampton hotels, each with their own shuttle, I fail to see why. Also not very pleasant when you enter the shuttle bus and it stinks very clearly of weed smoke. Hope it wasn't the staff...

It served its purpose. We just needed a quick place to stay overnight before catching our flight. It was clean, comfortable, and the water was hot! My husband dropped his wallet in the shuttle without knowing and quickly called the hotel. The employee there hurried and made the phone call to the shuttle driver before he was off for the night. Someone happened to turn it in, thank goodness. We really appreciated the urgency in the front desk person, and for caring about our problem in that moment.

Our family had to go into three groups to fit the shuttle. Didn't know that it wasn't unlimited stops.Maybe just make a reservation early on.

The property was close to the Newark airport and a shuttle was provided by the hotel. We did not have to wait too long for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport and we were easily able to book a return shuttle back to the airport the next morning

One of the elevators were not working while we were there, leaving only one available for use, resulting in a very long wait time (especially in the am when housekeeping filled the elevator with their carts). The complimentary breakfast was acceptable and did the job. For a future trip through Newark, I would stay here again as the price was reasonable and staff were welcoming.
