We liked the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. The food was good and there was a good choice for breakfast. The staff in the restaurant were polite and helpful. They catered especially for gluten free meals.

Initially a very rude duty manager, Aurelien, at check in when we had an entire airline crew checking in ahead of us. I think they could have checked other guests in at the same time instead of the long wait after a long day. All three receptionists were attending to the crew who each had long questions regarding laundry, dinner, vouchers, breakfast, exchanging Swiss Francs etc that we had to wait long to be attended to. We eventually got a very kind receptionist, Jonah, who checked us in and was most helpful and apologized for the wait. In addition to this, we were in the restaurant for an hour before our dinner (Steak Tartare) arrived, despite the restaurant not being so busy. A Nespresso machine or nice coffee in the rooms would be a nice addition.

There was a problem in that my friend and I booked a room specifically stating twin beds with Booking.com, but when we arrived there were none. Recognsing that this was an issue between booking.com and Crowne, a manager upgraded us to a suite meaning we did not have to share a double bed.

The intial stress at being told we would have to share a double bed, before we strongly suggested that the manager should come and talk to us was difficult after a long day where we had missed a flight due to road conditions and had to divert to a different city and wait for a flight with availability in the morning.

We deliberately booked a hotel near Geneva Airport. The hotel was reasonably close - a short bus ride from the airport. The room was spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the free transfer service when we left (but see below).

Two things should have been done better: 1. We did not receive our Geneva transport card in time. The concierge suggested this was because we booked through Booking.com and so they did not have our email address, but our previous Geneva accommodation did not seem to have this problem. 2. Crowne Plaza should make it clear that it has a free airport shuttle service that includes pickup. We were not aware of this until we had paid for use of a public transport bus and arrived from the airport that way (and the reception desk certainly did not offer any compensation). I would also note that dining in or drinking at the bar of the Crowne Plaza is not a 'value for money' experience.

Friendly , efficient , informative , good command of English receptionists. Room is complete with everything including toiletries and hair dryer . Great breakfast spread . Free daily bus voucher . Free shuttle bus to airport 3 times per hour . Good location with bus stop next to the Hotel. Special thanks to the receptionist who made me feel so welcomed and warm by calling me “my friend “ . He could even speak a bit Chinese . (I don’t have his name but took a photo of him before I left to airport)

Friendly and helpful staff from the receptionist, cleaning service, shuttle driver, and even the bellboy. Loved they speak multi languages. The shuttle service from the hotel to the airport and vice versa is so convenient. Rooms are comphy and with plenty of space. Air conditioning was good. They have a bus stop right by the hotel that takes you to the heart of geneva and back.

Hmm. The bathroom may need a little up boost and modernising. The breakfast has everything, but the display needs to be more appetising considering the hotel known name.

Close to airport (could walk), airport shuttle, modern room with good facilities, standard rooms are a good size, coffee machine, good coffee at breakfast, very helpful staff (with moving room, public transport, restaurant recommendations)

Not close to Geneva downtown, bar menu not very big, la chatel restaurant seating was uncomfortable, no spa facilities, some rooms are dated and need upgrading (second leg of trip I asked to move rooms as the deluxe room was not as nice as the standard room)

Great option if you are looking for a hotel near GVA for an early morning flight. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to GVA - 1km or 15 min walk from hotel to Terminal 1. Bus stop directly across from hotel offers free and easy access to downtown (approximately a 25 min bus ride to downtown). Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Very good Italian restaurant across the street.

Very minor issue - would be nice if coffee / espresso machine was available in hotel lobby. Otherwise, no true issues or complaints.

The staff went above and beyond to help make our stay fantastic. Big thanks to flavin I think his name was. He really helped massively after our flight was cancelled and made the stay for my daughters amazing! Can’t thank you enough

Close to airport. Easy transport links to centre of city. Travelled to montreux which was easy. Shuttle bus took us to airport and we went on train from there. Staff just couldn’t do enough for us. So impressive

After a very unpleasant airport experience due to a delayed flight, I booked a last minute room online at 10pm. I walked out the airport and was helped onto the hotel shuttle, which was great. On arrival, the reception staff were friendly, supportive and professional. I was in my room by 10:30pm. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Great value for money, especially so last minute. Very efficient and professional experience !

Loved the Staff at the reception , very cordial and extremely helping . They are able to think through the next steps that might be required to make your stay easier and provide guidance. Very Impressed !

The shuttle staff come across very rigid and one has to negotiate with them to be dropped off to the Airport. The rules around the management of the shuttle should be made clear to customers and the drivers so there is less ambiguity around this service.
