The views from the patio were excellent, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

This is more due to the area of Amalfi, but the hike from the town up to the hotel is a little tough. I would definitely recommend a taxi to get your bags up and down. But then you can walk 15mins without bags without too much trouble..

The staff was so gracious and helpful. The service was exceptional.

The walk down to the town center only takes about 10-15 minutes but requires walking along a very narrow curvy road that lacked sidewalks for much of it. This is the only road through the city so there are many cars and you have to walk in the street. Walking back to the hotel after dark made me a bit nervous though there are many people doing it. This walk also requires decending lots of stairs. We counted 201. Not so bad going down but coming back up will surely test your legs.

Great location, 211 stairs from the waterfront and then you walk on the road with no footpath in some places but it’s easy provided you have a reasonable level of fitness. We enjoyed the walk particularly after dinner. It allows you to eat more.😂 Breakfast is good and the staff friendly. Room was not large but more than adequate for two. The whole hotel was clean and well maintained. The balcony and views are amazing. We would definitely stay again.

Not much

The town center is within walking distance, although the walk isn’t the most comfortable. We expected the hill and stairs, but part of the road lacks a sidewalk, which can be a bit tricky. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, with many more options available in town. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay.

The breakfast area is quite small, and it can feel a bit cramped when busy. While the pastries and sweets are excellent, the overall breakfast could be improved—particularly the eggs, which were cold.

The view and the aesthetics of the room - we liked it a lot and it can offer comfort and style. The on site parking is available for a small daily fee (big plus for Amalfi) and the location is walking distance to the village (but you need to be in a decent physical condition to combat the uphill return especially on hot days). There are some high-end famous hotel-restaurants very close, we tried them all and we ended up prefering the more modest one 4' walk from the hotel.

We liked everything about the hotel with only very minor things to be improved (e.g. the breakfast). But given how nice the staff was we have nothing but good memories from our stay.

The location is right beside the sea. The hotel room has access by lift except the top two floors. The receptionist was very well behaved and guided us nicely. The room was clean and the view from the balcony was fabulous with a view of the Amalfi coast. The breakfast was very nice with a lot of options. Nearest bus stop is just 50 meteors away named Miramalfi. SITA bus will drop you there. Any bus travelling to Pogerolla will drop you there.

Nothing as such. We wrongly did not avail sita bus or golf car while going there from Amalfi coast and that walk is a difficult one. There are very few restaurants near the hotel.

This was a small, quaint hotel which was nicely decorated. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was nice, although the shower was a little small for us. The ocean view terrace was amazing! Best feature of the room. Continental breakfast was very good and staff were very pleasant ama accommodating.

The location. The hotel is located up the mountain, and the town is located down by the water, making it difficult to get to at times. The sidewalks are very narrow or non existent in places, with the cobblestone stairs & walkways challenging. I recently had major surgery & was unable to use a wheelchair. The taxis were unpredictable & wouldn't come up the mountain at night to pick you up from the hotel. Additionally, the negotiated rate for a taxi from hotel to town was 20 euros. It is less than 2 kilometers from hotel to the town.

The view from our balcony on our triple room on the 3rd floor of Almafi was espectacular, the staff was very nice, specially during breakfast which have also a view of town and a variety of options to eat, parking at the hotel was a plus for us since we were traveling by car and price was reasonable for the area, the hotel is about 10 / 15 minutes to the center of Amalfi and staff gave us some recommendations to visit and move around, we took a bus to Ravello which I highly recommend and once there to visit the Villas with the most famous view of Ravello. Great hotel and staff.

Everything was good.

We liked pretty much everything. The room was nice and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The view of the ocean and Amalfi was spectacular.

The only thing I can think of is it was a little warm in the room. The AC was just alright. The walk to Amalfi was I little farther than we had thought. About 20 minutes.

This hotel was a highlight of our trip. Located in a peaceful part of Amalfi, it offers breathtaking views without the hassle of the tourist crowds. The room was clean and comfortable, with very efficient air conditioning – a lifesaver during the hot days. Breakfast was excellent, especially for the typical Italian standards. The hosts were warm and accommodating, making us feel truly at home. If you’re looking for tranquility, a beautiful view of the sea, and genuine hospitality, this is the perfect spot.
