Not a thing

This property is an idyllic boutique Italian hotel that personifies Amalfi perfectly. It’s in a superb location just 10 minutes walk from the main square and the ferry port, close enough but not amongst the hussle and bustle. The hotel is beautifully designed and decorated and our room was a decent size with great facilities and a balcony with a sea view….so nice! The staff were absolutely exceptional, so polite a friendly and informative.

The breakfast choice compared to other hotels is fairly limited and in our opinion would have been better served inside with a choice to sit outside in the garden if you desired as one day the wasps were a major issue, they were on serving spoons, in the scrambled egg etc and didn’t make eating breakfast the best experience, but it’s a minor issue in what was a very enjoyable stay.

A piece of heaven. The view compensates for every little inconvenience (nothing major) and it was worth the premium price. Staff was lovely, location very convenient, only a few hundreds of meters from everything, parking available (but expensive), room on the small side but very cossy, shower too small for a tall person like me (but who cares?)… All in all, I hope I’ll have the opportunity to come back.

The soundproofing. I could hear every conversation from the next room, every toilet flush and lightswitch flick. It’s the only reason I haven’t given a 10.

I appreciated two things in particular : - The staff is extremely helpfull for information, services, etc... - The place for the breakfast ia wonderful with a nice view above the port. Nice, comfortable rooms. Good air conditionning (in a very hot period) Good secured parking (expensive, but a good parking in Amalfi has a lot of value)

A little bit far from the center (but I booked at the very last moment, I was happy to find it). The private beach belonging to the hotel is a tiny. If you come to swim a lot, you should chose another beach.

We stayed in Hotel Aurora for our honeymoon and had such a lovely few days there. It's just a short walk from lots of restaurants and shops in Amalfi town. The ferry port is only a few minutes walk away along with a bus up to Ravello (which is not to be missed). Beautiful views from our room, we had one with a jacuzzi which was fab. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Great breakfast options too, eggs and bacon but also plenty of pastries, granola, yoghurt, fruit etc. Not sure of the lady's name who worked at the bar but she made a gorgeous spritz!

EVERYTHING! This was our 5th stay at the charming Hotel Aurora since 2001. It is such a pleasure to see familiar faces, and incredibly enough, the staff remembers you, too! Hotel Aurora is a little paradise, located in the quiet corner of Amalfi, yet just a short walk to the bustling center of the city. Breakfast is served in a romantic terrace with flowers, lemon and orange plants and gorgeous sea views. The comfort and cleanliness are above and beyond! Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are decorated with colorful Vietri tiles.

Staff were fabulous. Couldn’t have been more helpful. They helped organise restaurant bookings, suggested activities, organised washing and more. Breakfast had a great selection. Fabulous location-no steps!

The beds were very firm

Loved this hotel. Great breakfast in the morning, and very friendly, attentive staff. The private beach was a little quiet gem away from the main crowds. The location is a short walk from the port and ideal for beating the touristic center. Easy to get to everything you need. Would highly recommend!

Nothing not to like! A great stay.

The location is perfect. You dont need to climb any stairs. It is a short walk from Amalfi city centre.

There is no food available at the property. Only drinks. The sound proofing of the walls is questionable. We could hear sounds of toilet flushing and water usage from our neighbouring room.

The hotel is extremely close to the marina and centre of amalfi. It is in the perfect spot for anyone who wants to have an easy walk back and forth while visiting. It was very clean and looked welcoming from the minute we walked up to it. The staff were extremely helpful and couldn’t do anymore to help if they tried. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone who asked me where to stay.

The downfall for us for the property was the lack of plug sockets but this is to be said for them all. I purchased UK-EU plugs at the airport but everywhere here used a 3 pin plug and as there were two of us, we only had one working plug between us which was hard work but this is not only on this hotel, but to the others we stayed at also.
