First of all, the view was wonderful. The house was very spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The house was given to us spotlessly clean. I think Leonardo is a very sweet host. We had a cat that accompanied us every day, coming to our door each morning. This might be a concern for those who are afraid of cats. If you plan to use the bus, I recommend getting off at the Amalfi Pastena stop and taking the stairs. Otherwise, climbing the stairs can be really challenging, especially in hot weather.

It would have been nice if someone came to clean every two days, but it's worth remembering that this is not a hotel. We also noticed that the bathroom was very small and sometimes the bathroom drain smelled, which was unpleasant. Additionally, some dishwashing utensils were left dirty for us, and we were hesitant to use them.

I loved the view and the whole vibe of the room, was very beautiful.

My partner and I arrived early to just drop our luggage off, no cleaners had been which was perfectly fine as we weren’t ready to check in however, a couple hours later when we did go back to check in we noticed we were given the same used bath mat and bed blanket which I thought was pretty disgusting as it was dirty. The owner is extremely rude and said some nasty things to me for forgetting to leave the €18 tourist tax in the room (it now has been paid) but there was no need to rudeness, I loved the accommodation but the owner should not be hosting

Beautiful views, the breakfast was nice. The ice cold aircon was perfect after walking up from Amalfi

Is a lot of stairs if you walk up from Amalfi, but take the bus up with luggage

Magnificent view of Amalfi from terrace, big room with fridge, microwave, coffee machine, complimentary coffee, tea, milk, water, snacks, nice shower with no issues with hot water. The owner Leonardo met us at airport in Napoli (at our request and reasonable price), and drove to the property 1H20 min. On the way to Amalfi , he stopped at the restaurant he owns and gave us hot snacks ,which was very nice of him. Nothing luxury, but everything you need was in the room, hair drier, warm blankets, toiletries, very clean and decorated room. Amalfi is beautiful, easy to walk around and enjoy your vacation. To see other towns near by , you can take ferry boat( 10-20$ one way)

As everyone mentioned The stairs from downtown Amalfi to the property , it took us 30 min to go up. To go down to town is easy and breathtaking view, but to go up is tiring. If you are in good shape you can do it, my husband run those stairs 2-3 times a day. I would not recommend to stay there for people who has heart issues, blood pressure, COPD or mobility problems, or with young kids, it will be really hard to get back to the property.

The view was exceptional and Leonardo was so lovely and helpful, room was spacious.

If you’re not fit you need to book somewhere that requires minimal stair climbing. Personally, I liked the exercise but it is a lot of stairs to climb if you’re unfit / elderly or have large bags. However, anywhere on the Amalfi coast that has nice views will require you to climb stairs - so if you don’t care for a view and aren’t fit enough, then book someone on sea level.

Very nice view

Lots of stairs. Not recommended with heavy luggages or for old people.

The room/terrace is up on the hill and is overlooking the sea. The view was simply breathtaking! We spent memorable hours sitting on the terrace watching the vast stretch of the calm and quiet sea, the moving boats, and the fading shores, all in a moonlit night!

The stairs: We hardly climbed up the stairs (we always took a bus when going up), but even going down on foot was not always easy. However, all in all the view from the top pays off the effort!

This was a cheerful suite, fairly well appointed with an outstanding balcony and full view of Amalfi harbor and town from above. Quite roomy, decent eating / food prep area, nice bathroom.

Oh... the STAIRS. Stairs upon stairs both arriving and leaving. We're 2 quite fit middle-aged people, but gosh. If we weren't travelling with 2 40lb+ suitcases, it might have been okay. Not sure if older or less-fit folks would be able to manage. As sign on the street would have been nice too. You don't get confirmation that you're at the right spot til about a third of the way down. Was it worth it for us... yes!

The full sea view and terrace with table and chairs were wonderful! The room was spacious. The hot water worked great, so we loved the shower. The bed was large. We really liked Anna, who checked us in and brought us some fresh croissants, milk, and lemon cake. She was so kind. We also liked the big fridge, espresso machine, pods, and electric hot water kettle. We also loved the village to village walking trails.

As stated in the description, there are a lot of steps, so be ready. We did okay with this. The bed was a bit hard. Would be nice to have some shelves or a cart for the dining supplies, to make more space on the table. Still, we loved eating outside when the weather was good!
