Loved the location - being on top of the hill and part of a beautiful little town of Pogerola. During our 4 night stay, there was a fair, a band playing and a choir / singing performance. The property has everything you need, good air conditioning and is 100m from Gerry’s Pub and the best pizza restaurant!

The room was very clean with a great view of the mountains and a partial view of the sea. The beds were standard but the pillows were very plush and I appreciated that! It was nice to have breakfast and talk with the staff every morning and to have the room cleaned each day.

I didn't realize when I booked how far away Villa Maria was from the actual town of Amalfi but it wasn't a deal breaker. The town (Pogerola) is quaint but still had good restaurants options!

The is the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. The staff clearly love what they do. Very accommodating. They allowed us for an earlier check in to put our luggage away. The place is spotless and the views from our window were unreal. The entire place including our room was spotless and the linens smelled fresh. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was delicious and the eating area served for great views. Lots of variety from yogurts to pastries to meats and cheeses, etc. They also provide complimentary coffee (espresso, cappuccino, etc. and they all taste amazing). The staff was very helpful and informative for bus routes, bus schedules, tourist FAQs, and things to do. The Pogerola bus stop is a 2 minute walk from the stay and is very easy to board. It’s the last stop so there is no way to get lost. The end of the Pogerola bus route is the centre of Amalfi. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the Amalfi coast. Nothing, everything was too notch

This is a very nice lodging in a quiet town the overlooks Amalfi. There are good local restaurants and relatively frequent buses down to Amalfi and back up. You could enjoy dinner in town and then go back up at night. There is also a path with (with many stairs) between the locations that is nice in day time. The staff is very friendly and the room was large and very clean. Gorgeous views day and night. Reasonably priced.

The listing implies it is 1km from Amalfi. However it is 3.4 by road and 2.4 walking to the port. We were surprised but In the end we were happy with our choice.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and cosy. The location in Pogerola village was scenic and only 500 metres from the bus station and is the last stop for the Pintour shuttle bus from the airport. There were good restaurants and grocers within walking distance. The breakfast was substantial. The village of Pogerola is peaceful and the people are friendly. It was so easy to get to Amalfi town from Pogerola by bus every day and it cost only 1.50 euro one way.

This quaint bed and breakfast was the perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities in Italy. We were a little concerned when our taxi was driving us to the property because it definitely was not in the busy part of Amalfi. However, the area is breathtakingly beautiful and everywhere you look is picturesque. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. You can choose to sit in the eating area or go outside on the patio and enjoy your meal looking over the amalfi mountains/ocean. We highly recommend the restaurant nextdoor, amazing authentic italian food...try their specialty pasta dish. While we enjoyed some quiet time in nature, it was very easy to catch the bus right down the street. The bus will take you directly to the Amalfi square. Fifteen minutes later you will arrive back to the hustle bustle of the city. Great sites to see and food to be enjoyed.

Everything!!! The location is great with beautiful views. The bus from Amalfi to the hotel is only 20 min and the bus stop is right next to the hotel. You can walk down to Amalfi by taking steps right next to the hotel, it takes about 40 min. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff Antonio and Andreas are so friendly and helpful. Great restaurants in the area as well. Truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place.

Pogerola has a real Italian village feeling: the local people are really friendly and communicative! Villa Maria is a really nice place to visit Amalfi Coast. We arrived by rented car from Napoli Airport to Pogerola and after that we preferred coach to travel between Pogerola and Amalfi. It takes 20 minutes, a single ticket costs 1.4 EUR. Villa Maria has private parking place, its cost is 15 EUR per day. Villa Maria was really clean, it was fine to stay there, the breakfast was good and enough to start the day by a tasty croissant, cappuccino and fruits. The breakfasts on the terrace what has beautiful view were really impressive! :-)

Everything was fine!

The hotel itself is beautiful and very well-kept. We were surprised with the room. It’s spacious, cosy and has everything a guest needs for a comfortable stay. The view from the window is breathtaking. Another advantage is delicious breakfast, which is included in the room price. And especially I would like to highlight lovely and helpful staff. We felt like the most precious and awaited guests.

We loved Villa Maria, the staff were incredible. Andrea and Antonio were always so helpful and always with a smile on their face. The breakfast was great, a good variety as always available. We really liked the natural spring water fountain that was just across the square, filling up our water bottles there transported us back in time. We had a room with "no view" according to the website only to find when we got there that we had the most breathtaking view just outside our window of the mountains and a bit of the ocean. We weren't expecting much from the bed, but it was one of the larger and more comfortable beds of our whole trip. The perfect view of sunrise in the mornings, which we enjoyed just by opening up our window. The little gardens were beautiful, I could go on and on. The place was spotless, I'm very particular about cleanliness and our room was immaculately clean. The comforting feeling of leaving behind the busy parts of the town and coming up to the b&b was our favorite thing at the end of the day!

We had no issues with this because we like to drive and loved the quaint little village of Pogerola perched at the top of the hill. Some people may not like the location because you do need a car to get there, and the roads are a bit more windy than in the coastal towns while getting up the mountainside. There is a bus but it is once an hour and takes an hour to get from Amalfitana to the villa and vice versa.
