We really liked the Savoia Hotels, perfect location if you want to travel between cities. They have a huge secure car-park area, very nice garden, very green. Breakfast was nice, definitely meets the expectations. Room has been cleaned and tidied up everyday, nice size.

They could have provided slippers as the rooms are carpeted. You should bring your own slippers otherwise it will be cold feet. There was no complimentary water in the room, there was a mini-fridge with full of beverages but water should have been complimentary. Also they don't have many cheese option and no olives & no cucumber or greens for breakfast. Not crucial but if you like savory breakfast rather than sweet, there aren't many options.

The Country House was excellent value for money. All the perks of staying at the main hotel, but with the charm of staying in a villa just down the road. The hotel swimming pool and bar area was lovely and well maintained. Hotel prices for drinks were reasonable. The restaurant was excellent, with many fresh options to enjoy over several nights. The walk to the bus stop into town was very close and the buses were regular. Breakfast was fresh and adequate!

Some staff were a little 'frazzled'. They seemed busy and annoyed a lot of the time, but after a few days, they would smile and respond in kind.

Very big room with all the facilities and a nice shower. Breakfast is extremely nice.

There are 2 hotels at the same site: Savoia Country house and Savoia Regency. A bit inconvinient to go to the other hotel for breakfast. Also there was a board at the entry of Country Hotel which stated that the hotel is closed and we need to move to the Savoia Regency which was across the street. When we went to the Savoia Regency the receptionist was extremely rude and told us to go back to the other hotel as if it was our mistake that they had put up the board.

no tea or drinks in the room...considering breakfast is down the road at the next hotel ...it a a bit slack to be honest...we should have the chance to make a drink...no water in room either even on arrival. on a early check out...we had no way of having a drink.... The hotel is on a main road...not listed anywhere....traffic runs all.night ...you hear it.... No bar in this hotel...again have to go down to the bigger sister hotel...where all food and pool is( better to stay there to be honest) Savoia Regency... also be aware they are congress hotels so have big events on... they push the guest out of the outside pool bar area for it... Not ideal! pool needs a refurb/clean it is ok for a stop over...not a weeks holiday for me... and a long walk to old town..cabs easy though

We had a lovely stay at Savoia. We booked a room in the Country House but were upgraded to a room in the hotel. We were initially a bit concerned the hotel was a bit too far out from the city centre but buses run every 10 minutes so distance was not an issue after all. Staff were very accommodating, the food at the restaurant was superb, and breakfast was excellent, with many gluten free options. Definitely worth it!

The curtains in the room don’t block out the light that much.

The hotel was very easy to find, with ample parking which is always a bonus. The bus stop is just outside the hotel and buses run very frequently - they take you straight into the centre which is a short distance away (10 - 15 min journey). I'd been a little put off by other reviews regarding the facilities (pool & breakfast) being in the hotel next door, but it really wasn't that far to walk across and didn't bother us. For the price we paid, it was an ideal hotel for 2 nights.

It would have been great to have tea / coffee making facilities in the room.

The grounds of the hotel are lovely with perfume from the plants and trees wafting through the air. We stayed in the country house so a shirt walk for breakfast at the main hotel. Breakfast was buffet style with a good choice and didn't have to wait for a table. We had a drink in the outside bar area the previous afternoon, we had a bottle of beer and a glass of Prosecco with orange juice for 11€, so not bad for a grand hotel, it came with olives and nibbles aw well. The bus stop into Bologna is about 100 yards up the road, takes just short of 30 mins and you can get off at the main square near the statue of Neptune. You use your bank to swipe a pay point on the bus, only costs 1.5€ each way. If there are two if you you need to swipe a card each.

Rooms in the country house were a little small and got a bit stuffy at night. There didn't seem to be any facilities at all at the small country house reception and there were no tea/coffee facility in the room, everything over at the main hotel. You get what you pay for in the end and our room wasn't expensive for one night.

The hotel is out of town, but I was there for a conference and therefore it was convenient. The staff was great and everything was clean. Comfy beds.

Some nights noise from loud people in the other room penetrated ours. The breakfast and pool are in the nextdoor hotel, but that was not a big problem, just a slight inconvenience, and if I had known, I would opt to stay in the Savoya Hotel instead of the country house. Our room was pretty dark during the day, and my partner didn't like working from there, but she found reasonable tables at the hotel lobby. After a week, I got tried of the same breakfast :)

Good hotel, located outside city center, easyly accessible by car and very convenient for parking overnight and going to the airport. Breakfast is quite good, served on the other hotel of the group (~300mts), guests can also utilizes the pool bar on that place.

Our room was located on the corridor's entrance which has some noise from the other guests entering into the building, but not a big issue. Shower cabin quite small on the bathroom. Pillows very soft, could be better.

It was nice to be out of the city centre in the very lovely setting of the country house hotel and the buses to the centre are just outside and frequent. The grounds are beautiful and the Regency hotel across the road where breakfast is served and the pool area is located is far better in reality than it appears in the pictures on booking.com. Our room was huge and beautifully cool. Breakfast is really nice and even the bacon is good. The staff are friendly and knowledgable and speak perfect english. Everything is very clean There is free wifi also. Taxis are fairly cheap. You might want to know that buses take a different route inside the city at weekends than in the week and taxis are difficult to find at weekends as they also are restricted in the city cent.re at weekends.

I would have liked a bath.
