Everything about this hotel was amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, the food was amazing. I had a lactose intolerant so I often struggle with breakfast at hotels but what surprised me was that they had allergens written next to each dish so it was very easy for me. The pool area isn't too busy so it's amazing to enjoy the pool without too many people. We would recommend to get taxi through the hotel reception any time you want to go somewhere because it was cheaper and very fast. The hotel was about 15mins by car from the centre.

Breakfast area is super nice with the view to the nice pool. Everything is clean and comfortable. Good variety for the brealfast. Bedd are comfortable. Big bathroom with both, a tub and shower.

I just did not like the connection to the city center. There is a bus but you need to walk around 10 minutes+, and it is not easy to find the way due to constructions in the area. To go back the bus service stops at 8:00 during week days and esrlier during the weekend. The only way to go back after 8 is a taxi which costs 12 euros. The distance is not far but it is not for pedastrians. We left our car at the hotel's parking space because it is tricky to find a parking spot in the center. The location was great when we left because it is right at the highway.

The Perfect Place to Stay in Bologna! Hotel Sydney is an ideal choice for anyone visiting Bologna, especially if you're traveling by car. The hotel is modern, exceptionally clean, and beautifully designed. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of tasty food and drinks to choose from. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. One of the big advantages is the free parking right in front of the hotel – there was always enough space, and the city center is just a few minutes away by car. Bologna is a beautiful city full of culture, history, and great food – we highly recommend visiting, and when you do, make sure to stay at Hotel Sydney. Highly recommended!

A good location for travelers. Generally, the rooms and bathroom were clean.The hotel stuff is very helpful and know English. The check-in and check-out procedure was smooth. The breakfast was great (almost amassing) and with a lot of sitting space. The noise from highway near to the hotel was not noticeable with closed windows. (great windows!!! )

It seems that they are not equip for dealing with families: children beds are sofa-beds or portable bed, that are not very conformable. So the rooms are small for families. It would be nice to have a working air condition independently of the season of the year, as the room temperature in May can be as high as 30C.

The reception recommended us to go to the center by car or taxi. it turned out that public transport is 1.5 euros per person and it is 20 minutes away from the center. A taxi costs 15-25 euros, and if you come to the city by car, you have to pay for parking, which costs a lot (2-3 euros per hour, which is unprofitable for the whole day). Also, they were not helpful when asking about the possibility of food.

The facilities (pool, restaurants, bar, room) were all a good standard. The location is good, not central though, taxi averages at €15 to central Bologna (€30 round trip). The staff were super friendly and helpful.

The room keys kept breaking, we had to go to the desk at least once a day (the worst day was 4 times) to get the key working again. We weren't the only ones, there was always someone at the desk sorting their key card out. If it's a consistent problem should probably change the system.

Pool facilities, vast breakfast, cleanliness, helpful staff and set in a quiet area. Also a restaurant in the hotel where they serve both lunch and dinner.

The hotel is not in the centre of Bologna. To me it was good because it was a stop over but if you want to explore Bologna centre it would be possible to do it by getting a taxi or renting a car (however this was known before in previous reviews and also looking at the map). The bus was difficult to get because currently they're doing road work.

The hotel is big and there are many people but we didn’t bother. The hotel service staff are nice and helpful, specially day workers, night shifts are not so nice. Breakfast was normal. Hotel was clean. Cleaning girl Stela is very helpful and nice girl, she speaks English.thanks Stela🩷 Breakfast is normal, the staff working in the breakfast area is very fast and nice. The pool is clean and great, the pool towels costs 2 euros, which is ok. Please note, if you want to stay in this hotel you need to have a car. Parking is large and free. Also hotel is close to highway and very convenient.

Everything was ok.

There seem to be not that many hotels within Bologna, so we found this one at the city-border, and it is great. You can get to city-center within 10 minutes (by car) where there is a great option to park and walk form there to the old center. And if you want to make a day trip to let's say, Florence, Ravenna, Padova or other, you're on the freeway in 1 minute. Nice pool, good options for lunch and dinner.

The restaurant meal was fabulous - really unexpectedly good for an airport hotel and with wonderful service. The location was very easy for the airport and the swimming pool was a very nice added bonus. The hotel doesn’t look particularly enticing from the outside - on a retail park off the ring road etc - but it’s surprisingly nice inside. I liked that breakfast was included and parking easy too.

The shower wasn’t always warm and the bathroom could do with an upgrade. The main areas of the hotel seems to have been recently refurbished (and are very nice), the bathrooms are ok but could do with a little TLC.
