I loved my stay here. My room was cozy, very comfortable and had everything I needed. The decor is quiet luxury and creates a warm and inviting space. Highly recommend the beautifully presented breakfast served in your room - a choice of sweet or savoury served with excellent, freshly prepared coffee. What makes this place special is its people - the owner, manager and staff are all genuinely invested in making sure you have a wonderful stay - the service is warm and caring and they always are on hand to help out if needed. The location is fantastic, do not be put off by the outside as the inside is like a palace. There are a few steps to climb but totally worth it when you arrive at the lobby. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a smooth check in. The room was simply stunning with luxurious bedding and a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped with a fantastic rainfall shower and a shelf to put your shampoo etc. there was also a decent hairdryer and a full length mirror plus Netflix! The breakfast was served in our room at our requested time and was incredible! Well sourced, quality produce in abundance. There’s also a wonderful back story about the owners grandparents and their love story during WW2. Nice touch.

Nothing, just a warning about the slight step in the bathroom as I tripped up it in the night. There is a light that comes on automatically so it was probably me rushing. Apart from that, perfect.

Charming, well located, with a very service minded and present owner, with an eye for details. He truly over delivered on everything, including the breakfast. I asked for a gluten free breakfast for me and a normal for my husband it was all delicious with a lot of options. When we picked up the car in the parking he had called to make them prepare the car, even though the parking was not connected to him. It was also very easy to communicate with him over WhatsApp, always with quick and helpful replies. It is located in a quite street, but still very close to the center. A cute detail is the love letters between his grandparents in the entrance hall, together with the story of their relationship, very heart warming.

Hector was an exceptional host. Our room was huge and was beautifully appointed. Don't let the exterior dissuade you, once inside it's beautiful! A large marble staircase leads to the reception area and the rooms. But the real highlight was the breakfast! Not only was it delicious, but it was very well presented and delivered to our room. There was so much food we couldn't eat it all. I suggest getting the mix of savory and sweet. It is probably the best breakfast I have had in all my trips to Italy. The location was perfect, only a short walking distance to the Piazza Duomo where all the action is. I highly recommend staying here on your visit to Catania. It's a wonderful value for the money. 10 stars 🌟

Close proximity to the main areas of restaurants, historic buildings, airport bus, and large doscious accomodation and bathroom facilities

The area needs to be vleaned up of all the graffiti. We were dubious on arrival when we were in the street but once inside it was completely different snd so much nicer. Unfortunate there is a proliferation of graffiti which gives a lesser view of the area but doesnt detract from what I liked about the property

The bed was comfortable, the staff was lovely, and the breakfast was THE BEST I've ever had. I may have cried a little while I was eating it, haha. I also appreciated how quiet it was at night and even during the day. The check-in instructions were clear even though I arrived late at night and needed to check myself in. I'd definitely stay here again.

I didn't care for the rain shower head, but that was just a personal preference. The door was a little tricky to figure out how to open as well.

The room and the building were just gorgeous a s Clara and Guissepe were exceptional hosts with great tips, very communicative, informative and friendly! The bed was comfortable, bathroom had everything we needed including a fantastic shower. And the breakfast served was so good and served like an art piece. Some advice... I would not take the voucher to Insignia cafe as it was all desserts and the service wasn't great. The hotel breakfast was much better.

The B&B is in a great location, the rooms are very nice and the staff are very helpful and kind. Great value.

We had rooms near the entrance and at times, there was a lot of hallway noise. It didn't bother us but it could some people. Also, there are a lot of stairs to climb to get to the rooms and if I hadn't had my husband or son to carry the luggage, I would have struggled. I only had carry on bags but they were heavy and if I were on my own, I usually select places with elevators and didn't think to check this here. But, they told me they would have carried them up for me so it might not be an issue for you. I am very fit so didn't mind walking them - just didn't want to carry my luggage up them.

Very elegant little hotel - the owners put a lot of attention into the decor to make it feel refined and romantic. Check in is totally independent - they email you all the instructions, door codes etc. so if you like anonymity, this is a great choice! The side street is quiet but in easy walking distance to all kinds g restaurants, cafes and of course, pizzerias. Manager Giuseppe? very helpful for just about anything. He is very dedicated!

Basically our room was small. I booked the standard room but it felt small and without the window & tiny balcony overlooking the street it would have felt claustrophobic. G. showed me the other rooms when I asked so I now know that I should have booked one of the suites to get a decent size room. Oh well. We were only there 2 nights. Also breakfast is available in the room for 10 Euros. We skipped it . I’m sure they do an amazing job. I just would have liked a coffee maker or water heater in the room& there was neither 😕

The property was in the heart of it all - the staff was very helpful and attentive- if you took breakfast with your stay you were served in your room. We were next to a villa that was now the university of law- we looked down on the main avenue- via Etna - Restaurants everywhere

The B&B was very nice with a back story. The apt was on the European 1st floor which meant you walked up a flight of stairs but the staff helps with the luggage and they have a chair to ride you up if you can’t take the stairs
