I loved staying at the Relais. It is beautiful from every standpoint: the incorporation of the splendour of ancient walls into the architecture of this now modern but personable B&B with contemporary art, incredibly tall ceilings, luxuriously spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, extravagant washrooms, the availability of 24/7 snacks & coffee, all of the things you could hope for or expect in a 4 star accomodation. However, the best part was the highly attentive and warm staff - this made our stay the best experience we’ve had travelling in Italy. Anna’s kindness and gracious, professional hospitality was the icing on the cake. She arranged for a taxi as we needed, was flexible on our arrival time, was there to greet us upon arrival, answered our every question & need, made suggestions for places to see & dine, and was always very attentive to our very need in a very kind & personable manner. I would give her & the Relais an exceptional rating as the best B&B ! Come see for yourself!! Superb beyond expectations!

I had a truly wonderful stay at Relais Anfitheatro in Catania! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, and the place itself is beautiful, clean, and full of charm. What made the experience truly special was Anna – she is incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and felt right at home. Everything was just perfect. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Catania – it’s a special little gem!

Very good central location easily reached by bus from the airport. The hotel building was quirky and interesting and seemed almost part of the amphitheatre ruins. The manager Anna was very attentive and helpful. We were given vouchers for breakfast in a nearby cafe.

It would have been useful to have more than 1 set of room keys if we had decided to go out separately. Some mosquito netting on the bathroom window would have been useful as I got many bites after a wet weather night.

Relais Anfitheatro is situated in amazing location. Historically it’s renovated form an old amount amphitheater that you can see. The boutique apartment is so well taken care of. super clean, very comfortable mattress, extremely spacious. Anna was so nice to reach out and go the extra mile to make sure we checked in and accommodated all our requests. A crib was setup for our little one The free coffee and snacks is such a nice touch and the terrace was really lovely to have.

The best part of this hotel is most certainly its host. Anna was so kind and pleasant throughout our stay and went out of her way to make us comfortable. She stayed up late for us on the day we checked in due to unforseen delays in our travel plans. We were also very confused on the parking situation... Anna actually got in our car with us and showed us the best place to park. She gave us so many incredible recommendations as far as best places to eat. And let me tell you - she was so right. The food was indescribably incredible. ALSO - if you stay at this hotel, Anna gives you vouchers for free Italian breakfast at a nearby Cafe. The food there was also authentic and amazing. In addition and beyond our affinity for Anna, the room was very well decorated, modern, clean, and safe. We also really appreciated the hotel's location to all of the main attractions in Catania. Do yourself a favor and book this hotel!

Virtually nothing! The experience was wonderful.

I hadn’t really done any proper research before arriving in Catania, and was pleasantly surprised at how centrally located it was. Right in the heart of the town. But most importantly for me, it was a super quiet and calm haven away from the heat and craziness of Catania. Anna was the perfect hostess and went out of her way to make sure my stay was comfortable and relaxed.

It is a lovely b&b beside the Roman amphitheater. The host Anna assisted us with any requests we had, from sites to visit to arranging our taxi to the airport and helping us with our luggage at 5 in the morning! There were complimentary snacks in the room as well as the common area.

We completely enjoyed our stay there. Any request we had was met with a smile.

Absolutely perfect location! Very central but still away from the city noise. The suite was extremely nice and comfortable, we didn’t lack anything at all. The host was super nice and gave us very good recommendations. The cherry on top was the fact that it is literally located in an amphitheatre, as the name suggests. We could see the original bricks in our own room!

Anna was lovely and the place was quiet and clean. It was nice to step into the courtyard and leave the bustle of the city behind.

The balcony in the room was only a Juliet balcony. We would have also liked another chair in the room as one of us had to sit on the bed.
